My prayer:

Awesome God. It was another hard day for a lot of people today. I pray for the people who lost their homes to fire today God. Thank you for protecting their lives. I pray that you help them, comfort them, find them new homes, and keep them under your protection. 

There were many other tragedies today God. It seems like this world has no shortage of tragedies these days. WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER. Guide us, protect us, take care of us, sweet Father.

What God Said Tonight:

Don't get caught looking at the circumstances of this world. It is not where your eyes belong. This world, this temporary home, is just that. 

Keep your eyes on me, keep leaning on me, keep trusting me, and I will give you beauty for ashes. I will show you joy in the midst of pain. I will walk you through this season and spend an eternity finding ways to bless you. 

I love you sweet child. I will never leave you.

Her time is near...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for the restoration. Thank you for your favor. Thank you for bringing us through! 

My prayer tonight, my ask, is really for my friend who is struggling with all of the senseless violence and death that is around her right now. She doesn't know you God. She doesn't have you to lean on, to trust, and to find peace with. She knows about you and she surrounds her life with people who know you but she hasn't made that choice and it makes everything so much harder.

I don't know what to say or to do that can help so I am doing the one thing I know can help. I am bringing it to you God. I pray for your help. I pray for your wisdom. I ask, if there is anything I can do that will help her heal, or even better, help her to know you, let me know what it is. She needs you so much and doesn't even realize it.

I love you Father.

What God Said Tonight:

I know your friend. her heart is near to me. I have been calling her for years and there is not much less to break away before she can see her way to a life with me. Her time is near. 

No, don't get me wrong, I don't mean her time to die. I mean her time to live. 

She has lived half a life in her misguided attempt to protect herself from what she is afraid a life with me means. When she can finally let go of that protection, she opens herself to my love, my healing, my peace, my joy, and all of the very good things that I have been waiting to pour out on her. 

Her time is near.

Lessons from the struggle...

 

My prayer: 

Awesome Father. For the first time tonight, I feel well. Not just less sick but actually feeling well. This has been a long struggle but I am very grateful that you have brought us through it. So many have not survived. So many had much worse complications. 

Thank you for your protection, your healing, and your guidance throughout. I love you and I am looking forward to enjoying the simple things in life again like swallowing and breathing.

What God Said Tonight:

Not every struggle is about teaching you something but there is something to be learned from every struggle. 

Your faith has made you well. You renewed appreciation for the basics will carry you forward. 

I love you sweet daughter and we have many more journeys  to take. Most of them much more enjoyable than this one.

My prayer:

Sweet Jesus. The night before we celebrate your birth. This is usually one of my favorite nights of the year. This year is a little different but there is still so much to be thankful for. 

Thank you for your life and your sacrifice that makes my life possible. Thank you for your healing power that has brought us through so much. Thank you for a beautiful home, amazing family and friends.

What God Said Tonight:

Come, sit beside me. Let's look out on the horizon at the future together. Let's imagine all that we will do together in the years and eternity to come. 

This commitment we have to each other is stronger than the years and will withstand any storm.

Awesome God. This is the hard part. This is the part where I know you will bring me through the situation but I am still in the middle of it and I don't know if it will get worse before it gets better. I am REALLY ready for it to get better.

Trusting you God. Your will be done in this and all things. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

A season isn't over until the new season arrives. Tonight is the end of one season and the beginning of another, but most people do not even realize it. 

Your season can change and you not even be aware that it has changed. 

I love you and I will see you through, this and every season. Go, rest, trust, and know that I am God.

Who controls my future...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. The news from today was not encouraging but I continue to hear your voice and your assurance that you have everything covered and you are taking care of it all. I choose to listen to your voice. I choose to believe that you will work this for our good and that you will be glorified in it. I choose that because you have shown me time after time that you will and that you do. I love you Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not chance or the enemy that controls your future. You have given you life to me and with that, my will is accomplished in your life. 

I will see you through this, as I always have. Your choices, made many hears ago, make it possible for me to do the miraculous for you.

My prayer:

Things have taken a bit of a scary turn God. Despite how things look, I am reminded of your love and how you always work things out for our good. I state here tonight, I trust you. I believe you will bring us through this season.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you. I won't leave you, in this or any other time. I will not let you down. I am yours and you are mine and this is not all that it seems. 

This latest crisis is nothing more than one more opportunity for me to shine my glory in your life. Rest and know that I am God.

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for your favor, direction, and protection. It was a good trip but I am grateful to be home. Thank you for protecting home and everyone in the storm. Thank you for your favor. You are so, so good to me. 

What God Said Tonight:

Time to settle back in, find the slow and even pace. Time to find the rhythm of the earth again. Not of the world that man has made of it but the rhythm of the earth as I made it. 

Breath in the cool, clean air. Soak up the warm sun. Refill your spirit and find our peace. 

I love you and I am here to help you back to center. It is a place of great stability and strength. It is where you are at your best.

I am headed on another journey tomorrow God and I pray for your guidance, direction and favor. I also pray that your peace surround me and touch everyone around me. I pray that your peace change the circumstances I am in.

There is no place that my peace cannot reach you. There is no where you can go that I will not go with you.

My prayer:

Another day and another example of your blessing and favor God. Thank you for today and turning what could have been a really negative thing, into something pretty wonderful. You prove your amazingness to me everyday God. I am SO OVER THE TOP GRATEFUL!

What God Said Tonight:

Trusting in me is not something you have to work at and it not something you have to conjure up. Trusting in me is the natural response to getting to know me. 

When you know me, truly know me, you don't have to wonder if I will do what is in your best interest. You don't have to question whether you will make it through this latest challenge. When you know me, you know what I will do and trust is the outcome of that. It is the outcome of our relationship. Not something you have to work at.

Rocks to glass...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you for your healing power, the gift of healing you give us. I receive and accept that gift for myself and for those around me God. Thank you for the opportunity to live in divine health.

What God Said Tonight:

Rocks grind down to sand. Sand melts down to glass. Glass shatters easily. 

I built you as rocks. Life wears you down to sand. The fires of your trials melt you to glass and then, if you are not protected, you can shatter. 

It was not my intention that you live your life as glass. I built you to be a rock. In me, through my salvation, I can cover you in whatever state you are in. In my resurrection, you are restored to the fullness of the rock. Let me protect you until that time.

Possibility...

 

My prayer:

Thank for another wonderful day God. Your blessings, in the midst of a crazy world, are doubly amazing. Thank you for the insight you gave me this morning about your sacrifice and what it feels like when it is rejected. It was beautiful and heart wrenching all at the same time. You are amazing and I remain eternally grateful that I get to live and die with you.

What God Said Tonight:

Trade you limitations for possibilities and your past for your future. 

I am preparing to take you into a future you cannot imagine now, but you will love it. It will require that you leave any prejudice and preconceived ideas behind. Especially the preconceived ideas about who you are and who you are not. 

Keep open to the possibility of entirely new levels of joy because they are on the way, I want them so much for you.

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I love that you know me better than I know myself. You know what I need and you know what will fulfill my life. Then, you bring it to me. Thank you for being gentle with me and letting me heal but thank you for bringing me a new challenge. Thank you for making me succeed in that challenge. You are amazing and I am so grateful to live life with you.

What God Said Tonight:

Not every day or every experience is immediately beautiful. Sometimes, it is not until you have lived in a situation, overcome a challenge, where the true beauty comes out to shine. 

Please remember, in future times of struggle and hardship, I will either bring you out of it or make it beautiful for you. There are not other choices for my children.

Awesome God. Thank you for giving me abilities beyond my abilities. Thank you for all of your help to be more than I thought I could be. With you, all things really are possible and I am SO grateful to be with you! I pray for your continued help and guidance on this latest journey.

What God Said Tonight:

Are you yet teachable? I have more to teach you, more for you to learn. All I need is an open and willing mind and heart. 

Are you still teachable? Do you want to be more and know more than you do today? Let me teach you. Do you want to see more than you see today? Let me teach you.

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for your continued guidance, direction, and favor. I am enjoying this latest exercise you have given me, changing my mind about what you are capable of in my life. I honestly thought of myself as pretty optimistic and open to your amazing power; however, I am seeing that there are several areas where I have limited my faith, assuming I know the outcome of situations based on my past experiences instead of staying open to what you want to do now. 

Thank you for opening my eyes to this. Thank you for showing me how to change my mind about these things. Thank you for all that you are doing as a result of it! 

I love seeing you work it all out God. It is truly beautiful.

What God Said Tonight:

Each season, each challenge, each blessing is another layer in the becoming of who you truly are. It is a process of thin layers, building on each other. Almost like papier mache. 

I gave you form and now, you are adding layers to that form, you are adding color to that form, and every day you become closer and closer to the ultimate form I always intended for you. It is beautiful and I love watching you grow.

Sweet Father. Thank you for restoration today. Thank you for bringing back the strength. Thank you for the time to recover and be restored by you.

What God Said Tonight:

Your light does not shine less brightly in the set aside and holy place I have you. Your light, my light within you is as bright as ever and is seen from many many miles away. 

There are those around the world who see the light you reflect from me and wonder, where does it come from/ How can someone living in this world still have light to shine. But light is not diminished by darkness and light is not diminished by distance. 

A star's light can travel millions and millions of miles and still be seen as beautiful and powerful. The light of a star lasts much longer than the star itself. Such is this light I have put in you.

Keep shining even when you don't think anyone can see you. Keep shining when you don't think it matters. People do see and it does matter and you are my light in this world. Keep shining.

My prayer:

Thank you for your protection God. Thank you for letting me know you were protecting me at the time. Living life with you is increasingly wonderful. Fear is being replaced with your peace and assurance. Anger is being replaced with grace. Transformation, when it comes from you, is truly amazing.

What God Said Tonight:

You are not of this world. You are living in this world, for now. But you are not a part of it. You are a part of my Kingdom. You are a part of my family.

Thank you for your kindness and your healing power God. Thank you for giving me favor with you and man. Thank you for loving me so much better than I even know how to love. I am yours, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

Tonight, rest. Do not let your mind dwell on the challenges of today or the blessings of tomorrow. Let your mind, your spirit, and your soul rest in me. Quiet them all to find their rest in me. Surrender them all to me and I will give you rest. 

There is  nothing that tomorrow will bring that will be improved by your thoughts or worries about it tonight. I promise, I will bring you each thing that needs to be done as it needs to be done. I will guide your every step. Let me do the planning and you do the following.

Sweet Father. Thank you for today, for the healing and the rest. Thank you for the calm assurances and for taking care of everything. You are such a good Father. I am grateful to live in your loving care.

What God Said Tonight:

The people, the crowds, they are lost without a leader and in danger without their Father. I am here. I am waiting. I am broken hearted to hear their cries. Their cries for help, their cries for justice. It they will just call out my name. If they would just invite me in. I will help. 

It is my greatest desire to help my children in this time of great termination. I love you and I will help, if you will just ask. My heart is breaking for the many who will not make it. The many who will not call out, will not believe. I know what is coming and you cannot face it without me.

Worth and identity...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. You know what is coming tomorrow, much better than I do. I pray for your help and your favor. So many things could go wrong but I know, you have shown me so many times, that with you in charge, it can all turn out perfectly. 

Cover my inability and errors and have them hear what you would have them hear. You destine me to succeed and I am so grateful.

What God Said Tonight:

Do not become dependent on man's assessment of your success and your failures. Do not become complicit with man's opinion of you. I will destine you to succeed and I will give you favor wherever you go. But your worth and your identity does not come from those around you. It does not come form those I give you success and favor with. 

Your worth and your identity come from me. What I say about you is who you are and what you are worth. They may praise you one minute and tear you down the next. Do not get caught up in either. It is not a reflection of who you are. It is a reflection of who they are. 

I have you and won't let go. Let's walk though the lion den together my child. You shall overcome.

The purpose of the path...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for the intense deja vu today! That is always such a great assurance that I am on your path for my life. This is not the easiest path, that is for sure, but I appreciate your multiple assurances that it is the right one. 

Wherever you want to go God, I want to go with you. 

What God Said Tonight:

A path shows the direction to go but it doesn't actually take you anywhere. You have to walk, bike, drive, that path for it to fulfill the purpose it has for you. 

I love you and I will lead you always but there are times, like now, like most times, where the path alone will not accomplish much. It takes your action, your willingness to follow the path, and your propelling forward on the path to see what it has for you. 

Keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will see the purpose of this path. I love you my daughter, now and forever.

Forever together...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. You are my everything. Thank you for every blessing, healing, and teaching you provided today. But mainly, thank you for being you and living out this life with me. I truly cannot and do not want to imagine life without you in it. Without your presence, there is no point to any of it. Thank you for being my God, my Father, my savior, my teacher, and my friend.

What God Said Tonight:

We have amazing times together my child and so many more to come. Whether it is in the glory of victory or in the peace of healing, together, that is what really matters. 

I will never leave you. I will never turn my back on you. If you don't feel me, know that I am still here, I haven't left, and whatever is keeping you from feeling my presence at a given time, cannot stand. It cannot stay.

Awesome God. Thank you for answered prayers and for getting me through the rough spots today. 

What God Said Tonight:

Today is done. Today is not the rest of your life. This season is only a season. There is nothing more reliable than change. 

I have a lot to show you and teach you in this season but do not get discouraged in thinking it will always be like it is today. It is not going to stay the same and in very little time, you will look back and be amazed at how far you have come. 

This journey is one of growth and distance. Where you end up will be very different than where you started.

One step forward...

 

My prayer:

I am learning Father. Each day, a little more trust in what you can do and a little less reliance on my own abilities. Each day, a little better. 

This is not an easy lesson for me but I know it is important. 

Help me continue to let go and trust in your power and sovereignty in my life. You are amazing and I am so grateful that I get to live life as your daughter.

What God Said Tonight:

One step forward is still forward. I don't need you to be a sprinter. I don't need you to finish first. I only need you to keep trying, to keeping moving forward. 

We have all of eternity together and each season, each lesson, each increase in faith is a part of that eternity. You will walk sometimes, other times you will run. You will sometimes be lucky to even crawl one step forward. None of that matters.

Thank you for a perfect day God. I loved every minute of it. I am excited to see what you have for tomorrow.

The breath of life I breathe on you tonight. The joy that comes from being a child of God. The peace that passes all understanding. These are my gifts for you.

A challenge is not failure. A challenge is nothing more than an opportunity for me to show the world that there is nothing impossible with God.

Sweet Father. I don't know where we are going but I know I can trust you to lead. I don't know what the outcome will be but I trust you to work it for my good. I am floating in the river of your will and I love it.

A river does not flow to nowhere. It has a beginning and an end. The really interesting part is the end is always the start of something bigger and greater than the river ever could be. 

I have great plans for you, you can always know that. Trust me and the ride will be as great as the destination.

Sweet Father. Thank you for this day of fun and rest. It was wonderful. You are wonderful. This life is wonderful.

What God Said Tonight:

Your protection is solid and your future is secure. Live each day knowing I have it all under control and you can enjoy the moment you are in. 

Let me be concerned about tomorrow and you can live free in today.

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for bringing me home and thank you for helping me to see the opportunity you have laid before me. I am still a bit nervous but I am beginning to see that this is all coming together and that I have a chance to make a real difference here. Or, to be more accurate, I have a chance to watch you make a difference through my life.

I love you God and I should have known that you would only take me into something that was for my good. You are amazing and I am so grateful that you are in charge of my life.

What God Said Tonight:

Your life has so many more days and paths and purposes within it. I have such great plans for you. 

A minute, an hour, a day, a year, the time frame does not matter in the face of eternity. What does matter is they are each ordained by me and as such, I will work every one of them for your good. I will not be distracted from blessing my children. Not now and not ever. 

Go rest my child. Tomorrow will be filled.

Who to believe...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I find myself worrying tonight. Did I make a wrong choice, did I not hear you correctly. I believed that this was the path you had chosen for me, the direction I was to go but what if I got it wrong? What if I gave up the better path?

Please help me to see things the way you do. Help me to know where I fit.

What God Said Tonight:

This doubt, this insecurity, this is not from me. You have let the enemy speak things to you that are not true. You cannot stop him but you don't have to believe him. 

Believe me and what I say about you. I destine you to succeed. I make a way for you when there is no way. I bless the work of your hands. 

Do not believe in your talents and abilities, although I gave them to you and expect you to use them. But rather, believe in my talents and my promises. Those are what will never falter and will never fail.

New adventure, same goals...

Awesome God. I begin the new adventure tomorrow. I pray for your guidance, your favor, and that you destine me to succeed. You are amazing and with you, I know from very personal experience, all things are possible. Thank you for this new chapter in my life.

What God Said Tonight:

A blessing, a success, these things are already yours. Pray instead that you are a blessing to those around you. That is where your work comes in. That is where your focus should be. 

It is a new adventure but the goals are the same. Be a blessing, lift up those around you, show people what my love is really like. Stay focused on those things and I will ensure the rest is taken care of. Don't let solving the problem get in the way of loving the people.

Awesome Father. You have given me everything and more. What is on your mind? What can I give you? I love you now and forever Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you sweet child. There is nothing that I need from you except your love. There is nothing I want from you except your trust and your faith. Not for me, please know. 

I want your love because as you love me, you learn to love others and you learn to receive that love. A life filled with love is better than anything else. 

I want your trust and your faith because when you are trusting in me, when your faith is in me, anything is possible and you can live without worry plaguing you.

Thank you for tonight God. Today wiped me out and the last thing I thought I wanted or needed was fellowship but as usual, you knew what I needed more than I did. Thank you for good friends, for insight, and for revelation. 

What God Said Tonight:

Dew and frost come from the same origin but look very different. 

I have a purpose and a plan for each of my children. You all come from me but how you live out your journey can look very different. Never presume to know the journey someone else should be on. You will have enough of a challenge discovering the journey you are on. 

I love you, each of you, in your similarity and your uniqueness. Don't change who you are for anyone, least of all me. 

Paved road...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. What an amazing couple of days of refreshing and refueling. YOU are so AMAZING and always bring me exactly what I need. 

I pray for you help throughout this week. It could be pretty challenging but I know with you, I will end this in excellence. Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

I have paved the road ahead for you. I have made the way easy. There is much to do but it is all completely achievable and I will bless you in it all. 

A life of freedom, joy and fulfillment. That is my plan for you my child. 

I love you now and forever and there will never be a moment in your life, where I am not there with you. I have dedicated myself to you, to your joy, to your wholeness. Grounded...

 

My prayer: 

Thank you for getting me through this week God. It was an emotional roller coaster for sure. Thank you for your guidance and reassurance throughout the week. I pray for help to just relax and detox the next couple of days. You are truly amazing to me God.

What God Said Tonight:

Grounded. Keep yourself grounded in me, in the truth, in the promises on your life. That grounding and foundation will take you through any storm. Keep your feet firmly planted in my truth and no wind can knock you over. 

A wind, a distraction, can come from many sources. It can come from adversity but it can also come from blessings. The love you feel and have felt was real and was for a purpose, for a time. It is a new part of your foundation and will guide you well in your next journey. Do not let go of it but do not allow it to distract you from your path. 

I love you and my plans for you are good. So very good. 

Pain...

 

My prayer: 

Today was not easy God. I am grateful that you showed me so clearly the path I am supposed to take. If you hadn't, today may have changed my mind. 

I hate that this choice is causing pain. I hate that this choice has me leaving people I have come to love and who love me. I know it is the right choice. I know you have something more for me in the new place. But it is hard to see the pain.

Awesome God, I ask that you ease their pain and give them comfort. I pray that you guide and direct their steps as you have mine. I pray that my being in their lives has been more blessing than pain. I pray for your continued help in this transition.

What God Said Tonight:

You are not leaving them. Those who are meant to be a part of your future, will be. Those who were meant to be a part of this season alone, will be that. 

I am in you so where you go, I go. Am I not more blessing than I am pain? You brought me into their lives. They can keep me in their lives if they choose. If not, they at least met me in you. 

I love you daughter. Do not let the pain pass without recognition but do not dwell in it either. I love you now and forever.

Challenges and blessings...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I will need your help tomorrow to do this hard thing. I ask for our favor and guidance to do it well and in love.

What God Said Tonight:

Everyday has its challenges and its blessings. Sometimes the thing you see as a challenge ends up being a blessing for you and for them. 

I love you sweet daughter and I would not steer you wrong. Go in peace and know that I am with you.

The choice...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for the clarity today and the blessings. I am excited for this new season and chapter. I am even more excited that you made the choice so clear. I was so unsure last night. I really didn't know what to do but every moment of today, you guided me and showed me the path forward. 

I am SO GRATEFUL! You are amazing.

What God Said Tonight:

The choice was less about you and more about the people I am taking you to. You blessed those where you were and that will be remembered. But I have more people for you to bless and for you to share my love with. They have been waiting for you and it is time. 

I will bless you in it. You know that I will. But you will be a blessing to those around you. Be at peace tonight my child.

My prayer:

More than ever, God I pray your will is done. I do not know what the right path forward is. I know what I believe you are telling me, but this is a big one and I don't want to mess it up. 

Guide my steps, my decisions, and my words God. Your plans for me are always so good.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not in your heart to do or act against my will. You have given yourself and your life to me. You have given your heart to me. Your path is clear because your heart is purified by my blood and through my sacrifice. 

Believe your heart, trust your heart, it is my voice speaking. Your future is secure because I am in it and in you.

Reconciled...

 

My prayer:

Sweet and awesome God. Thank you for your guidance, provision, and peace today. In the middle of chaos, I had your peace. In the middle of bad news, I had complete confidence that you had a path through it. 

Living this life with you is so much better than trying to live it on my own terms. Thank you for being all that you are, for choosing me, and letting me have a relationship with you. Wrapping my mind around that is always a little challenging. You, the God of all the universe loved me so much that you provided a way that I could overcome every barrier and have a relationship with you. Wow.

What God Said Tonight:

Is it so amazing that I would want to be with my own children? You are the children of my Spirit and made in my image. What parent would not do everything they could to be close to their child, even after the child had strayed way? If it is within their power, they will reconcile to that child. 

How much more, me, your true and Spiritual Father, would do to reconcile to my children. I gave my life for you and now we can live in eternity together. That is what I always wanted. I love you now and forever my child.

Faith and love...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you for a perfect day. I stand in awe of you and all that you do for me. Now, I will get quiet so I can hear what you have to say tonight:

What God Said Tonight:

I want to give you some clarity and peace. I want you to see the road ahead as I see it, from the end of the road. I want to show you that everything is truly for a reason and that nothing in your life is ever wasted, it will always serve a purpose in both your life and the lives of others. 

I want to show you all of that  but if I do, faith no longer has a place in your life. If I do, you trust the future but you don't need to trust me. 

How much better to trust that I will work everything for your good, no matter what it is. How much better to trust in me than have to know every detail of what will happen next. It is in that trust and in that faith that our relationship grows, out love for each other grows. And, at the end of everything else, that is what truly matters. In the end it is the love that is shared that truly matters. 

Knowing how everything will work out, does not increase the love. Trusting in me, does. 

I love you now and forever and I promise that everything I do is for your good. You are my precious child and I cannot let you forget that.

Solid ground...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am so grateful you are in charge of my life. I would be pretty freaked out right now if I wasn't confident that you have everything under control. I love that I get to live a life filled with peace because of you. Thank you for making that possible.

What God Said Tonight:

A life built on solid rock is not one that you have to worry about. It is not one that will shift under your feet. Your life is built on me, the solid rock of truth. 

You need never fear. Your future is secure. Your present is solid. You are on solid ground my child.

Obstacles...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for your favor and guidance today. There were some tough moments but I leaned into you and you walked me through each one of them. I don't know the details of what tomorrow has for me but I know one thing, you will be there in it with me and that is all I need.

What God Said Tonight:

Red, green, yellow, blue, the color of a things does not really matter it is the substance of the thing that matters. 

You may see barriers in your work, in your personal life, even in your spiritual life. The details of the barrier does not matter. The only thing that matters is that you will overcome that barrier with me, through me, and as a result of your relationship wit me. 

I am called the great overcomer. I can overcome any obstacle for your sake. No mountain is high enough to block my blessing you. A barrier and a challenge is truly no more than an opportunity for me to show you I am God, in every situation. 

I love you now and forever my child. Go rest and let me take care of the obstacles tomorrow.

Nature and purpose...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. What a blessing these last few days have been. Thank you for this time of rest and peace. I pray for your help as I jump back into the fray tomorrow. I pray for your favor, your wisdom, and your guidance. Above everything else, I pray that your will is done. 

What God Said Tonight:

The nature of me, of you, is  not hidden. It is written in every word, every action, and every interaction that we have. Your nature is not something that can be hidden. It is not something that should be hidden. Whether your nature takes you success or failure, letting it be known, or more rightly said, recognizing that it is known, to everyone around you, only makes it easier for me to help you with it. 

I created all of my children for a purpose. That purpose does not require perfection. It does not require that every part of your nature be made perfect. That will happen through the salvation of my son, but it is not required for your purpose to be carried out. 

You are more known than you realized and you are more loved than you realize. Starting of course with me. Keeping forging ahead, putting one foot in front of another, and we will make the destination together.

Blessings and cursings...

 

My prayer:

A wonderful day full of blessings and work. Thank you God. I know I say it a lot. I wish I had better words, better ways to tell you how much I appreciate all that you do for me. How much I appreciate this life that you have given me. Everything I can say and do, seems like not enough. 

I pray that you hear my heart and know how much it all means to me and how much I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

A danger is not dangerous if you are not there when it is. A blessing is not a blessing if you are not in position to receive it. There are things in this world that only receive their meaning when they are received. They only fulfill their purpose when they are received. 

Blessings and cursings are some of those things. Receive the blessings. Reject the cursings. Position yourself in a place where blessings are abundant and avoid the places where cursings run rampant. 

These are not my commands but rather advice that will make you living easier. I love you my child, now and forever and I want the very best of blessings in your life.

Awesome God. Thank you for your favor and guidance today. I am content and trusting you. I would love to hear your voice tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

It is a celebration in the making. It is a carnival that is yet to open. I love you and I have such great things for you. Very soon, when the timing is right, and it can be celebrated in full. Without reservation.

Pauses between the steps...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. I think I might be a little strange. For me, it is so much easier to trust you in times of change than it is when nothing seems to be changing. Movement, change, seems like a path, a journey and since I know you order my steps, I am confident that you are in control...most of the time. In times where nothing seems to change, that is when my trust can waiver.

Thank you for this season of change. Thank you for all that you are doing. I pray for help to trust, whether the change comes or not, that you are still in control and your plans for me are good.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not change or lack of change that is reflective of me moving. I can effect change through action and inaction. I can even keep you where you are through action and inaction. 

When you trust in the change you can see, you are trusting in circumstances, not truly in me. When you trust regardless of what you see, that is when you are truly trusting in my, in my sovereignty in your life. That is when the true peace comes and you can enjoy each step of the journey, even the pauses in between steps.

Pruning...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you for a wonderful day. I don't think life gets much better than this. Maybe it does but I can't imagine what that looks like. Thank you for blessing me with blessings I can't even imagine. Living life with you is AMAZING!

What God Said Tonight:

You did some pruning today. You know the value of pruning. Sometimes there are branches that are sucking the life out of a tree and need to be removed. Sometimes there are branches that have died and need to be removed. Sometimes the branches are just in the wrong place and need to be removed. 

The same is true for your life. When I remove things, people, circumstances, know that it is always for your good. Know that without them you will grow more and grow in the direction I have for you. 

Never worry about what you have lost, I promise it is always for greater gain. I love you my sweet child. Rest in the complete peace that I am always working for your good.

Glory...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I am trusting in your timing and your will. 

Sometimes, like now, when I can see you weaving together a plan for my life, I just have to sit back in awe and wonder. I love to watch you work things out. I love to watch you work. It is a beautiful thing. You take all these seemingly unrelated things and weave them together for my good. It is a truly amazing process to watch and be a part of. 

The testimonies you have given me over the years could write a million books. Can't wait to see how this next chapter comes out!

What God Said Tonight:

Your in awe of my glory which is right and good. 

I show my glory in pieces, in rays. My full glory would overwhelm. It would overpower you. But, as with Moses, I can show you parts of my glory. I can let my glory shine in your life. You are the mirror of that glory on the earth. 

I love you my child and I only want the very best for you. I am always working for you. 

No guilt, no conditions, no buts...

Today certainly had a lot of surprises God. Some good, most not so good. I am still trusting you though. I am still trusting your timing and your will to be accomplished in my life. There is great peace in knowing you are in charge of my life. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

Blood has been shed and has left the stain to be remembered. The sacrifice was real and required. 

Now that the blood has been spilled and paid for, please do not ever go back and try to pay for it on your own. I have provided forgiveness that obliterates the need for guilt. I have provided a way to eternal life that costs you no more than a decision. Receive that in its entirety. NO conditions, no buts, just a gift freely given from a Father to his children. 

Receive and trust in me. I love you now and forever.
