Faith life...

 

My prayer:

Again and again, you work it all out. I am so grateful for your will being accomplished in my life. 

I shudder to think about how hard it would be to try to live in this world without your help and your favor, God. You are my eternal hope and you truly do work all things for my good. You are amazing and I will remain grateful. 

I love you Lord, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

Each day is filled with the option of seeing things for what they are or for seeing things for what they could be. 

On the one hand, the realist can truthfully say that things are not as they should be. However, that doesn't make their life one bit better and it does not give them any joy. The faith filled person looks at what could be and believes me for that. It fills their lives with hope and joy. It fills their future with potential. 

I receive your faith and I will see your hopes fulfilled. I love giving to my children. I love seeing you well and filled with the joy that my favor can bring. 

In good times and in not good times, I am your hope. I am the reflection of what is possible. When you hold me up to your circumstance, I will not reflect back to you what is, you can see that for yourself. I will reflect back to you what could be, I will give you that dream in your heart and then, if you have the courage and the faith, I will walk you into that future with trumpets blaring my glory.

More than you know...

 

My Prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for giving me such an amazing life. I know there is more to live but as I look back at all of the amazing experiences you have given me and continue to give me, I am just so grateful. There have been a lot of challenges too, for sure. But as I look back on life, all I really remember and see is how you brought me through every challenge and how you blessed me, over and over again. You are so good to me. Thank you God!

What God Said Tonight:

The life you live is good and it is more than you realize. You see life with the vision of a near sighted person. You can see the things close to you but the big picture is still a little fuzzy. The big picture is where I come in. 

There is so much more to your life than you know. I will be able to show you one day. I will be able to show you the people who were blessed by your life. I will be able to show you the difference you made by your faith. 

While you are on this earth, those things will remain just out of view, but know that they are as true as anything. I love you my child and you matter in this world. and beyond.

Failure...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Things in this life definitely seem to come in waves. Thank you for bringing me through a day that seem to do nothing but throw one failure after another in my face. I know there was good in the day too. I know that not everything fell apart. But it definitely seemed that way.

I also know, from experience, that you can turn anything around for my good. I know that in the most hopeless and helpless situations, you can and you do turn them around into the great testimonies of your glory. 

That is the hope that I can rely on. That is how I can sit here tonight in anticipation of what you will do, instead of in dread of what will happen next.

Thank you for being you God and thank you for choosing me.

What God Said Tonight:

Not every failure is a reflection of you my child. Sometimes, things fail. Sometimes, there is a reason for that failure. 

But you have it right, I will turn all things for your good. I will never waste any hard thing in your life. I will use each and everyone of them to bring glory down on this earth. To show what I can do for my children. 

I will see you shine in the middle of this storm my child. The people will see you and be looking at me and my glory. It is nearly finished.

Choices and decisions...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I pray for your help and guidance. In every day there are so many choices and decisions. I never really know which will be important and which will not be as important. All I do know is that I want them to all be in your will. I don't ever want to make a decision that leads me outside of your will. What scares me sometimes, is whether I will know or not. Does this decision, this seemingly unimportant decision have greater consequences than I realize? God, my prayer is that your will is done, no matter what.

What God Said Tonight:

I am the God of the universe. I am above all things, creator of all things. I will guide you in all things, because you have asked me to. I will  lead your steps because you have made me Lord of your life. 

You have chosen me and chosen my will for your life. That choice, that was an important choice. 

The other choices, seek my voice and listen. I will not withhold my voice from you. 

You are my child and I love you more than you can ever know. Trust in my voice and my direction in your life. 

The waves of life...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. You are my everything. There is no point without you in the center and head of my life. Thank you for guiding me through this day. Thank you for this time of change. Thank you for always loving me and taking such good care of me. Your blessings and favor are truly unbelievable.

What God Said Tonight:

The waves of life keep coming and they do not care whether you are ready or not. But, I do care. I care and I will shelter you from the waves. I will keep you safe in the storms. I will guide you through the battle to the other side. 

I am your safehouse and I will not fail you. Live in the confidence that I will protect you. I will bring you through, no matter what the world throws at you. 

We have been through so many hard times, but I always have and always will bring you through them. Live in that confidence. Do not waste your time or energy on worry of any kind. Lift every worry to me and then rest. Truly rest, knowing that I will bring you through.

Glory...

 

My prayer:

Great and awesome Father. Thank you for another day blessed. It started out pretty rough but you made me well and brought me through it all. I never get tired of seeing how you work things out. It doesn't matter how it starts out, you make it all work for my good in the end. 

Your promises are always so true. I am so grateful and cannot imagine trying to navigate this life without. Thankfully, I will never have to.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not about the situation or the challenge. It is never about the enemy. It is always about the way through and the victory and glory beyond. 

I will see you succeed in every situation. I will love you in every moment. I will keep you in my protection. I will see you redeemed and saved.

Promises of tomorrow...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. You brought me through another tough week. Thank you for always being so faithful. You show me every minute of every day that you will never leave me and that makes everything possible. I am so grateful for you sweet Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

Tonight, look with me a minute into the future. Look beyond the struggles of today and look into the promises of tomorrow. 

I have a future for you that is golden with opportunities. I have a future for you that does not end. As my child, there is no other option. you will win and you will live with me forever. 

I love you so much my child. I will never leave you and I will see you prosper in all things.

My prayer:

Thank you God for your help today. Thank you for the reminder of what my job is, and what it isn't. When I simply focus on what you tell me to do, everything else falls into place. It seems so obvious and yet, how many times have you taught me the same lesson? I have lost count. 

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your instruction. Thank you for your love.

What God Said Tonight:

Oh, sweet daughter. It does not matter how many times you learn a lesson. What matters is that you learn. 

I love you and I will never leave you. I will always guide you and help you. You just need to calm your mind enough to hear my voice and feel my guide. I am always here. I am always guiding you. I will never let you down. 

Listen, get quiet and listen.

Comfort and peace...

 

My prayer:

Thanks for such a truly good day God. There was fun and there was rest and there was productivity, it was just a good day. And, it let me get my thoughts off of the stress of the week, which made it a REALLY good day! 

You are so wonderful to me God. You always make sure I have everything I need when I need it, even when I don't know what that is at the time. I love you with everything I am.

What God Said Tonight:

I bring you comfort, my child. There are times you need grace. There are times you need mercy. But there are times where what you really need is comfort and peace. That is my gift to you this day. 

Comfort and peace can fuel you for the challenges of tomorrow. Tonight, rest in them and let them fill you up.

An eye on the future...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for all of your help this week. The challenges have not been less but the stress and worry have been much less. Your peace has surrounded me and kept me centered. It is a much better way to live. 

I worship you Lord. I give you all glory and honor. I wait upon you and your voice.

What God Said Tonight:

There are many millions of people in this world and every one of them is precious to me. I built this home for my children. I built it with great dreams of the future. 

I still see that future. That future where we live together on earth in joy, peace, and prosperity, is still real and will happen. We have some times to get through first but the struggles of today do not eradicate the dream of tomorrow. 

I love you my child and our future is beautiful. 

Keep an eye on that future when today gets to be a bit too much to deal with. It can be your beacon, your light on the horizon that will guide you through the storm. I love you now and forever my child.
