Conduit of blessing...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for everything this weekend God. Thank you for the fun, the relaxation, the rest, and mostly for the insight. 

It is always so easy to let those negative voices, to let the enemy convince me that I am not enough. That I am not doing enough. That I am not good enough. Thank you for reminding me who I am in you and all that you have done through me. I needed the reminder.

You are amazing.

What God Said Tonight:

There are many things in life that have more than one purpose and usefulness. You are one of those things. 

I have called you to different ways of fulfilling your purpose over time. The core is always the same. I will bless people though you my daughter. It is the call on your life. I will find many ways to do it. 

Be my conduit of blessing. Be open, hear me when I point something out. If you are doing that, there is no end to what we can do together. 

I love you now and forever my child.

How to fight...

 

My prayer:

Thank you God for all of your help this week. Sitting back and letting you take care of it all was truly wonderful advice. There is more. Not everything is resolved. But I am at peace in knowing you will take care of it. 

There are times in this life when it is good to fight and other times when it isn't. I am not very good at recognizing the difference. Thank you for pointing it out to me. 

I love you now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

There are many ways to fight. Sometimes you fight with aggression. Sometimes you fight with omission. Sometimes, if you don't show up for the fight, there is no fight.

I am your God of peace. I bring peace with me wherever I am and I give of it freely. A conflict, a problem, is nothing more than an opportunity for my peace and my love to show themselves triumphant. 

Quicksand...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I really struggled again today. I am feeling so defeated and beat down. I know it is me, it is my attitude that is the problem. I know things are not any worse than they were a week ago. But, I am struggling to feel your peace. I am struggling to see the path forward. I am struggling to love others in the way I know you want me to in the midst of my own frustration. 

I pray for your help God. I don't know how to change this but I know you do and you can. I leave it in your hands Father.

What God Said Tonight:

You are caught in the quicksand. The more you struggle, the deeper you go. Stop fighting. It is not helping. Lay flat and trust me to keep you afloat. 

This is a temporary challenge. This is not going to last. This is the time for you to lay back and trust me to work it all out. 

I love you sweet daughter and I know you like to stand and fight but in this case, in this time, that will not get you through. That will only make you sink farther. Trust me to bring you out of this one.

Pace...

 

My prayer:

What a whirlwind of a week Lord. Thank you for your guidance, protection, and favor throughout the week. You are amazing. I ask for rest and restoration this weekend. I pray that you refill me with your peace and your joy.

What God Said Tonight:

It is about pace. There is the pace of the world and then there is the pace of your soul. These can be very different. 

It is time to settle back into the pace of your soul. 

The week was a time to visit in the pace of the world but that time is over. Settle into the pace of your soul. Allow the rushing thoughts and external pressures to roll off like the rain off of a turtle's shell. 

I love you my daughter. Lean against me tonight and let me soak up the stress and pressure from you. Sink back into my rhythm.

Restoration...

 

My prayer:

Wonderful Counselor. There were a lot of hard things to see in today. Thank you for hearing my prayers and I wait in anticipation to see what you will do. So much hurting and division God. We NEED YOU SO MUCH!

I pray for your unity and your peace to take over this world.

What God Said Tonight:

Anything can be spoiled, ruined. It is not hard to ruin something. It is much harder to restore something that was ruined. 

I am the God of restoration. I will take what has been ruined and make it new again. I will take those people, those children, that have been ruined and restore them. I have that power. 

There is no glory in destruction. But, there is great glory in restoration. 

I love you my child and I will restore you. 

Not so big...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Lord. Thank you for today. The big problem we are facing is not solved but at least I can see the size of it now and know what it is. 

I pray for your help to do what I need to do with it. I pray for your wisdom on what I should and should not do. Sweet Father, I put it in your hands and pray that your will is done.

What God Said Tonight:

It is a problem but that is all it is. It is not a disaster. It is not unsolvable. It is one problem in the series of problems in this life. 

I will resolve this one as I have all of the others. 

Today, the problem seems big to you because it is new and it is right in front of you. I will help you put it behind. With some distance, this will not seem so big. It will not seem unsolvable once I have solved it.

No challenge...

 

My prayer:

Wonderful counselor. Thank you for such a great rest today. I pray for your help as we go into this week. I never accomplish much on my own but with you, truly all things are possible. You make me succeed in the worst of conditions. You are amazing and I am so grateful for you. 

For whatever challenges await this week, I give them up to you God. Lead me, guide me, show me what I should do but above ALL things, your will be done God.

What God Said Tonight:

You are perfectly positioned and you should relax and be at peace tonight. 

There is no challenge greater than your God. There is nothing that can defeat me. There is nothing that will surprise me. 

You have a sure thing in your corner my child. I love you and I am with you now and forever.

Peace soak into your bones...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. Thank you for your guidance and thank you for hearing the prayers for my brother. Stay with him God and help him through this time. Let this time of struggle be turned for his good. I pray for your continued help and favor.

What God Said Tonight:

Find your peace tonight my child. Still your mind and relax into me. Let my peace surround you and fill you. 

Let the assurance of my Fatherhood and love for you be a calming comfort in the midst of all that is trying to steal peace from you. 

I am yours and you are mine. Let me settle around your shoulders like a blanket and feel my peace soak into your bones.
