The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. And, here we are...I hope He speaks to you in these words.

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for the wall of protection you have placed around me, my family, and my friends. Thank you for your near constant reassurance. Thank you for the many blessings that you are revealing in the middle of the crises.

You are the God of the impossible and your blessings never end. LOVE YOU!!

What God Said Tonight:

A meadow, a forest trail, a wave that slowly slaps the shore, I know the things that you need to keep you happy and well.

I am your Father and I will provide for you all the days of our life. I will provide even those things you don't know you need yet.

I will give you everything you need, including experiences. I will not leave you in a situation beyond your capability. I will not throw you into a challenge without preparation. The challenges in your life are training ground to take you to the next level. I will always take you higher.

I love you. I love your trust. I will provide, now and forever.

One step at a time...

My prayer:

Awesome God. A beautiful day of worship and rest. Today was a true sabbath.

I need to thank you for the time and the space to rest. This has been such a great opportunity to rest in you, rest in your peace, and rest in what is usually such a chaotic life. Thank you for the gift of rest God.

This week has a lot of challenges in it, none of which I have a good handle on. I pray for your help, guidance, and favor. I pray for your protection and continued divine health. I pray for your will to be done above everything else.

My God, my Father, my Savior, and my help, I love you more than I can ever say.

What God Said Tonight:

A step at a time. You follow my will one step at a time.

There is no need to worry about five steps down the road. Remember, tomorrow has enough worries for itself. Today, take the step that I have for you. Tomorrow, I will have another. Take each step, as I lay it in front of you and you will find your self on the other side, free from the worry, and fully blessed in my will.

That is how you got to where you are today and that is how you will get to your tomorrows.

I love you now and forever, my child. I am yours.

Let the world see...

My prayer:

Feeling so grateful for you in my life and all that you have given me God. I am so blessed and so grateful. Your blessings are so very good. There is a lot of fear and worry in the world right now but with you, it is as if I am in a bubble of peace. Thank you Jesus!

I pray for your healing power. I pray for your peace. I pray for you to cover this world God and all of your people in it.

What God Said Tonight:

No fruit comes from a dead tree. I have given you life and life more abundantly and you are bearing the fruit.

Do not hide what I do for you. Do not keep it from those around you. Help the world to see that I am God and that I will take care of those who love me and keep me first in their lives.

I am God all mighty and I will see you prosper my child. let the world see it as I do it.

My prayer:

I am living each day and each moment, trusting you. In this unprecedented time of crisis, I KNOW, I don't just think, I don't just hope, I KNOW, you are with me and you will take care of me.

Thank you God for this assurance. Thank you for everything you allowed in my life to prepare me for this time. I hated it at the time but now, now I begin to understand your purpose.

I am yours and you are mine, now and forever my God.

What God Said Tonight:

Water turned to ice and back again. There are times in your life where you will need the strength of ice and there are times in your life when you will need the flexibility of water.

I am your God and I will form you into what you need for each season and each circumstance. I am the potter, you are the clay. As you allow me to mold you, you will find that you are the perfect shape and the perfect strength for what is needed at this time and for tomorrow.

I love you. Stay moldable.

Living and active Word...

My prayer:

A very peaceful and restful day today God. Thank you.

Only you can give peace is the middle of chaos. Only you can give peace when the world is going crazy. It really is not something that can be logically explained but it can be experienced.

I will never have enough thanks, enough praise for all that you do for me.

What God Said Tonight:

It is written. I have told you the story so many times. It is now the realization of that story.

My word is living and active, all of it. My promises and my predictions.

I love you. I have you, I will always protect you.

My necessity...

My prayer:

I had a glimpse today God of the dramatic difference between living in these times with an assurance of you and without. I tend to take for granted sometimes, the peace that comes from living in relationship with you. It is possibly the largest blessing outside of salvation itself.

Today, I was reminded of the terror that this pandemic can create for those who don't know you and don't know that you will take care of them. It is heartbreaking God.

Tonight I pray for every person who does not yet know you. I pray that this be a wake up call and that this thing that was meant to destroy them becomes the thing that turns them toward you and saves them.

What God Said Tonight:

A necessity, a need is something you cannot live without.

I am your necessity. I am your need.

Everything else I will bring to you but the one thing you cannot be without is me. I have promised you I will never leave you or forsake you and I mean that promise. A time will come where it is the only promise that will matter.

I love you, I will care for you, I will keep you. I am yours and you are mine, now and forever my child.

Peace in chaos...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I do NOT want to talk about the pandemic. I do NOT want to talk about the fear running rampant. I am sick of it and I do NOT want to talk about it...but even in working so hard to NOT talk about it, it proves it is forefront in my mind.

I truly believe this last season of building trust was in total preparation for this season. And, I do trust you. I trust that you know what is going on and you will take care of us. I trust you to guide my steps. All I have to do is look around me and the sanctuary you have placed me in for this season and I can know that you are and will take care of us.

Without the last season of building trust, I think I would be a basket case with constant worry. But here we are, this is our reality right now, and whether the threat of the virus is real or blown out of proportion, the results are real.

I pray God, for wisdom for our leadership, peace for your people, and your divine health to reign.

What God Said Tonight:

A gate is an opening in a structure that is meant to keep things in or keep things out. A gate makes it possible for you to travel in and out of a place that others are confined in or excluded from.

I have prepared in you a peace that will allow you to travel in and out of the circumstance, finding compassion without judgement and kindness without fear. I have equipped you with the key to surviving any calamity.

You are my child and I will see you walk in freedom all of our days. You will show the world what it is to have privilege and freedom from the most high God. I have a plan, even in this, and I am working it out.

The life of a rock...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I place every worry and every concern in your hands tonight. I trust you to work out every detail, big and small.

I pour out my gratitude for all that you have done and the blessings you have covered me with.

I trust you with it all.

What God Said Tonight:

Every rock and every pebble has a place in the sand that makes up the world. No matter how big or how small the rock, it has a place and a purpose. That place and purpose change over time.

It may start as a mountain and then become a boulder that rolls down the hill. I may further break into rocks and stones that roll even further. Some may get caught in a stream where they are rolled smooth and become smaller and smaller until one day they find themselves on the beach, among the sand. They may stay on the beach, they may get caught up in the surf but one day, they will end up as sand.

The life of a rock is a long one but it is one filled with adventure and change over time. I see your life this way. Your shape and purpose, even your location is changing over time but it is always part of the adventure. It is always part of my purpose.

This season, love, trust, know that I am God and know that this is not forever.

Not tonight...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I do not have anything interesting to talk about tonight but I would love to hear your words.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not time tonight. I am with you. I love you. I will never leave you  but tonight is not the night to talk about anything more. Go, rest, and trust that I am God and your life is safely in my hands.

My prayer:

Awesome God, fear is ruling our world right now and it is hard to argue with it. This world is a pretty scary place. Viruses killing people, people killing people, so much coming at us every second.

There is only one place to turn and that is to you. There is only one who is bigger than any threat and bigger than any fear and that is you.

Amazing Father, I put myself in your hands. I pray your will is done. I pray your protection around me, my family, my friends, my pets, my home, and this world. Guide us through this time with your infinite wisdom.

What God Said Tonight:

A fear is not a thing of substance. It is why fears can be so hard to fight. They are made of the air. They are made of thoughts. They are not real. They are only what we think about things that we think are real.

Fear has no place in my children. I am your assurance. I am your way maker.

A fear is a weapon meant to harm you. A fear will try to make you do things and say things that bring harm to you. The fear itself, cannot harm you. The fear itself has no power. It is like a wispy cloud in the wind. One small breeze and it is blown away as if it never existed.

I will blow away your fears. I will take care of you, now and forever. I will not let the weapons formed against you prosper. My promises to you are final and assured. I love you.

The choice...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I am not sure what to talk about with you tonight.

Life is very good. I love this new place of trust and peace with you. I love this place you have given us to live. I love our time together. I love that every problem, every issue, every challenge that comes up in life, you have a beautiful and final answer already worked out and that it is never what I think it is going to be.

This is an exciting and wonderful season God. I will do all that I can to enjoy every moment of it while it is here!

What God Said Tonight:

I am here and I will never leave you. I will never keep my presence from you.

The only one who can keep me from you is you. Satan does not have that authority. It is you and only you that has that power.

I have made my commitment to you. I have given my son, my life for you. I am all in. You are the one with the choice. It is a choice you make with every word and every thought.

I have chosen you and will choose you every time. Will you choose me?

My prayer:

Another day another HUGE PRAISE! Thank you Jesus for the GOOD REPORT today! I had real peace about it long before the call came in but when it came and they said it is 100% benign...that was GOOD NEWS!

Thank you God for your divine health and healing. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for all that you do in my life. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have good plans for you. I truly do. I have not brought you this far to leave you. You have a future and a hope.

These are all promises that you know like the back of your hand but know this tonight, they are true and they are real and they are manifesting in your life, now.

I love you. I love to bless you. Your season of waiting and trust was not for no reason. I am yours forever my child and I will never let leave you.

A beacon and a flag...

My prayer:

Awesome God, what a year of blessings this has been so far! Your goodness is so abundant. Your blessings are so apparent! Last year was a year of near misses but this year has been a year of fulfilled promises and turning it all around. Living in your blessing, in  your peace, and in your joy is a pretty amazing place to be. Thank you for being so amazing!

What God Said Tonight:

No blessing, no struggle, no triumph, and no defeat are ever experienced without a purpose. I will use all things for your good. I will turn every situation around for your good. I will make every moment a moment of purpose and planned strategy.

I will never let you suffer or experience great joy without a greater purpose in it.

Your pain is your testimony about to be revealed. Your joy is your garment that you wear for the world to see.

I will bless you all of the days of your life and your blessing will be seen by the world. It will be a beacon to those who have yet to know me. It will be a flag marking the life of a child of God.

I love you and my blessings will go with you all of the days of your life.

Every moment...

My prayer:

Awesome God! Thank you for all that you have done in the last 24 hours! You are incredible. You take care of everything and you make it all just perfect. You are so GOOD! I am so grateful to be your kid!

What God Said Tonight:

Every moment is an opportunity to recognize what is right in your life or what is wrong in your life. Every moment has elements of both and it truly is up to you which you decide to spend your time focusing on.

A life that celebrates all of the blessings in it is a life well lived. A life spent worrying about all of the things not yet realized, is a life wasted.

Do not waste your life. Live the life that you are in and count each blessing. Savor it. Turn it over and look at it from every angle. Every moment yo spend looking at your blessings is one more moment that you do not get mired in worry.

I love you daughter, every moment.
