LIfted above the trouble...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am not sure what to pray about tonight. Normally, on New Year's Eve, I do a review of the year with you. This year, I think that would take us way past midnight. 

There was loss this year and unimagined grief but there were so many blessings as well. At the end of it all, I am grateful for you. I am grateful for all you have done and are doing in my life. I am grateful that I get to walk into the future with the assurance that you are guiding my steps. 

I love you SO MUCH!!

What God Said Tonight:

Waiting on my timing will be a theme that you can remember from this year. 

I have so much more for you. We have really only just begun. But do not worry yourself about the future. What will come. When it will come. I will prepare you. I will position you. Keep following my lead and everything will fall into place at the right time. 

I love you now and forever my child and I will not leave you. I am your Father and your God. I am your savor and you brother. I am the Spirit in your lungs and I will lift you high above the troubles in this world. I will keep you in safety during the storm. I have nothing but good plans for you.

Path of destiny...

 

My prayer:

I am grateful for the changing season God. Not so much in nature just yet but in my life. Thank you for showing me how to make this change with integrity and class. You know how hurt I was and how angry and left to my own, I could have really done some damage to myself and others. But you, in all of your wisdom and love, provided another way. A MUCH better way.

Thank you for your guidance, your healing, and your love.

What God Said Tonight:

Leaving this season is a natural step on the path I have for you. I have provided the way and therefore, the way is easy. 

The only hard part of following my path for you is trusting and waiting for the path to open up. Everything else is easy. You have walked the hard path of faith and now it is time to glide along the easy path of destiny. 

I love you. I have provided for you. I won't ever stop.

My prayer:

You are amazing God. Thank you for all of your help today. Thank you for your gifts, blessings, and lessons. I know I can be slow to learn the lessons sometimes but you never give up on me. Thank you Daddy. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

There isn't much to do and there isn't much to say. Today is complete and tomorrow is yet to come. In this night, in this moment, I give to you peace. I give to you rest. I give to you the assurance that I am in charge and I will not let you down. 

We have come so far together and I have no plans of stopping any time soon. We are in this together my child, now and forever. I love you. Rest and recover tonight.

My prayer:

Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday dear Jesus! Happy Birthday to you! What an amazing day of celebration it was today God. A celebration of beginnings. A celebration of you! Thank you for being you and saving us.

What God Said Tonight:

A healing day. A joyful day. Today was meant for my people. It was meant to remember that all things start small. It was made to remember that I came to earth, not on a blazing horse of glory but as a humble and vulnerable baby. There was one reason for that, I love you and want to know all I can of you. 

The sacrifice was needed but the method, how we accomplished it, that was because of you. That was because of how much I loved you and that I wanted to know life as you know it. 

My children, there is something so unique about being alive as a child of God on earth. It is unlike any other experience and it is coveted. Don't neglect cherishing your life. It is not perfect but it is beautiful. Remember. 

Purpose and calling...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. My thoughts are all over the place tonight. I don't know what I want or need to pray. That usually means I need to close my mouth and open my ears. I pray your will be done.

What God Said Tonight:

Waiting is hard and the last pieces of waiting are the hardest. Your tomorrow, your promised land is so close you can taste it but you remain in the desert a little longer. Walk these last steps of your journey in the desert with integrity so all you can to leave it in peace. Your leaving will create a wake, a void, but it is one that is needed to create the change. 

I have a purpose and a calling on your life and there is nothing that I do in your life that doesn't help more than you. From the time you were young, you were a catalyst for my will, my glory, my blessings, and my love. I pour it into you and as you spin, you spread it to all of those around you. It is my best way of reaching those who don't know me yet. 

Your life will be a standard, a light they can point to. It is not a perfect life but it is a loved and blessed life and people see what I can do through you. Your ministry, right now, is to live and let the world around you see you live, in my presence and in my will. I love you, you are covered, now and forever. 

A new day...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God, you have been so good to me. I come tonight with nothing to ask but to just be in your presence and hear your voice. I praise you God and sit at your feel in your glory.

What God Said Tonight:

Never has there been a more valid time to rejoice. The world may not agree. The circumstances may not seem right. But in truth, there is so much to celebrate. 

A new day is coming, a new season, and this season is going to be unlike any you have seen. It will be a time of fulfillment and a time of true focus on the love that is most important in the world. 

I am placing you to live out a life of love. Showing my love through you. You have been prepared and you have been healed. All that is left to do is love. Let my love be your beacon and your signal. Let the world see my love shining through you and let it be drawn to it. Everything, and I mean everything, takes a back seat to love. There is nothing more important in this world or the next. 

I love you now and forever my child.

Rejoice...

 

My prayer:

It is finished God. Thank you so much for moving me into this new season. Thank you for guiding me. Thank you for providing for me. 

I pray for healing of the damage done in this last season. I pray for favor in this new season. I pray protection and guidance on those I leave behind.

What God Said Tonight:

The heavens are rejoicing with you tonight my child. The praise and glory of God is ringing through the heavens. We are filled with joy that you have come to this time and this place. 

No weapon formed against you can prosper. It is finished. 

I love you now and forever my child. Nothing can change that.

Turn it around...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I do not understand how you have brought me through the last few days but thank you for sustaining me. I see you moving, I see the next season on the horizon and I have deep and profound hope.

What God Said Tonight:

Each day and each moment has value in itself but also has value in what it adds to the whole. 

You have not wasted your time in bitterness or fury and that is good. I can use any situation to help you, to grow you. I can turn anything that is meant to harm you around for your good. 

Continue to trust me and look to me and I will show you the value beneath the circumstance. I will show you the blessing in the mess. 

I love you daughter and you are exactly on the track that I have ordained for you. Do not doubt and do not waver. I love you now and forever my child.

God's wrath...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for your guidance and help today. Thank you for your direction. Thank you for showing me maturity and grace in an unexpected place. 

I pray for your favor tomorrow God. It could be a really important day, It could be stepping into the next season. I pray above everything else, that your will be done. I pray that nothing get in the way of your will. I pray that nothing delays your will. I surrender to your will, knowing that whatever tomorrow holds, you will walk me through it.

LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have your heart and I will not let it be broken. I have your heart for protection. 

A weapon has been formed against you but it will not prosper. My wrath is unleashed on those who come against my children. 

I will make you whole. 

I will vanquish your enemy. 

I am done. 

One day closer...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God, thank you for the time today and the direction. This is a hard season but I believe it is nearly done and I believe you will guide me through the remainder of it. Thank you for all of the reassurance and for always taking such great care of me. You are such a good Father. 

What God Said Tonight:

Each day is one day closer to the promise. I have not forgotten my promises to you. I have not withheld them. The promise is yet to come in its given time and each day brings you closer. 

When you cannot find any joy or anything to be thankful for in a day, remember that you are one day closer to the promise. Be glad in that. 

I love you and I will walk you through each day in glory.

Death has no sting...

 

My prayer:

Heaven has gained a new citizen and he is amazing God. Please take good care of him. He loves you like crazy. We are going to miss him so much. The world doesn't seem quite right without him in it. I knew this day was coming but it is still so hard. 

Thank you for letting me know such an incredible man. Thank you for the comfort you provided throughout the day. Thank you for the vision of him with you in heaven. I know he is happier than ever and finally out of pain. Remember that he loves to run and bike and be outside. Remember that he loves to fly and to be in the mountains. I know you know him better than any of us, so I don't know why I am reminding you, but please give him his eternal reward. Never has a man helped more people and been more humble. I pray every moment of eternity is pure joy for him.

What God Said Tonight:

Come let me wrap my arms around you. Rest  your head on my shoulder. Take your rest in me. 

A loss this great will take life from you. It will leave you drained. I am here to refill you. I am here to remind you of all the things you already know. 

Death has no sting for those in Christ. 

Greater purpose...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am still not sure what you are up to but still trusting you are up to something good. Each day you give me just enough grace, just enough joy to bring me through the ugliness. Thank you for bringing me through. I will be so grateful when this season is done but in the meantime, I am grateful to be walking through it with you.

What God Said Tonight:

I have taught you what you needed to learn. I have sustained you through the worst. I will walk you into your promised land, that has not changed. I am only waiting on the perfect timing. 

There are so many consequences of moving too soon or too late on this. My timing will be perfect. Your job remains to trust me. Trust my timing. Trust that while you may not be able to see the reasons, please know that I do not do anything without purpose. A purpose, greater than your own, is being fulfilled and is near completion.

Surviving death...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I pray for my friend and her family who lost her brother today. 

So many people are dealing with death right now. Partly due to the pandemic but it seems like there are so many others too, and some for completely unexpected reasons. I am grateful that because of you and the salvation you have provided, we often only have to say good bye for a season. But, it can be so hard to say good bye, even when it is just for a season. 

I pray for your comfort and healing for those left behind. I pray that you welcome those who are leaving us here on earth and take care of them. They are precious Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

A life lived is a good life. The lives on earth were never meant to be eternal. Eternal life is only possible and only desirable when you are living with me in my Kingdom. 

A day will come when there is a new heaven and a new earth and death will no longer be a part of that picture. But until those times, death is a passage, a conduit, into an eternal life with me. You may well miss that person while you are a part but you shall take joy in knowing they are waiting to see you again, soon. 

All of my children are so soon to be reunited. The time is growing so close. 

The moon, the stars, the sky, the sun all are vying for you day and night. Keep your eyes on me my child and I will lead you to your promise land. 

Stepping stones...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. It has been a week of closing things down in preparation for a move. Thank you for your continued reassurance that you have a plan and a future. Thank you for your continued promises of blessings over my life. In these times of extended waiting, I really need that reassurance. 

It has felt good to prepare and to see movement. I am also grateful for all that you have taught me in this season. Being able to reflect and journal all of that has been an important part of saying good bye and I am grateful to recognize that all of the nastiness had a purpose. 

I meant what I said today. I am committed to change moving forward. I have seen the mirror held up to me clearly and I never want to have to learn this lesson again. I ask for your help with that change. 

What God Said Tonight:

Never before and never again will there be a season quite like the one you are in. These are unique times and circumstances but as you are seeing, even in these times I can find ways to bless you. I can turn it for your good. I can make sure that the hardships you have endured are stepping stones to take you the next level and not weapons that will crush you. 

You are my child and I love you more than you will ever know. For me, to me, you are perfect. But for as long as you are still living in this world, there are things we can change to help you and to help those around you. 

The goal, the everlasting goal is to spread my love. If there are things in you that block that conduit, that keep people from seeing my love in you, those things we will change. But know that you, you I do love with my whole heart and you have been made perfect in my eyes. 

Go, rest. There will be more to do tomorrow.

Secure future...

 

My prayer:

I am too excited to sleep tonight God. This opportunity that you have shown me, it is almost too good to believe. Is this what you have been preparing? I am trying not to get my hopes up too much. It is a real long shot and the only way I will get it is with your favor. The great thing about that is if I do get it, if they offer the position to me, I can know that it was your doing.

Awesome God, above all things, your will be done. Help me wait for that will to be accomplished.

What God Said Tonight:

Just breathe. Everything is in place and happening just as I intended it. 

You will see your dreams fulfilled. You will reconnect with your passion. You will see great things accomplished in my name. 

I am your guide, your Father and I will not leave you here. Your future is secure.
