Fighting the unseen...

 

My prayer:

Today really wore me out God. I am not sure why. There wasn't anything that hard physically or emotionally. But I am just so tired and I can barely put to thoughts together. I pray for stamina and rest tonight so I can meet whatever challenges tomorrow brings.

What God Said Tonight:

Close both eyes, breathe in and out in smooth and slow breaths. I will see you rested and rejuvenated. 

Today you were fighting things unseen. Today you came against more than you know. But tonight, all is well, I am here. I will not see you harmed or harassed any further. 

Rest in the peace and understanding that I am your protector and I will not let you down. I love you daughter, now and forever.

Don't stop...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father, thank for your guidance and favor. All I ask tonight is to hear your voice. What is on your mind, your heart?

What God Said Tonight:

After all this time, you know the truth and yet you act as though you don't know it at times. Why would I lie to you? Why would I tell you things you don't need to hear? Why would I waste your time? 

I am here to remind you that I never leave you. This time is the time for your to get still and know that I am God. There are no new messages. There are no new flashy insights. The Word is the Word and it does not change. It is live, it is active, it can bring different revelation to you at different times, but the Word is sacred. 

I remind you so often of my love for you because you need to be reminded. It is a failing in the nature of humans that you don't believe you deserve love. It is a lie from satan. He knows that you were born in love, in my love, and it makes him furious. So he spends a lot of time and effort trying to convince you that you cannot be loved. 

I will continue to counter that message and show you how much I love you. I will not stop.  I will tell you and show you in any way that I can. It is the most important thing. Everything else comes out of that love. 

So, do not question if this time together is important or needed. It is. I need this time to remind you of my love. I need this time with you to give you the peace that can get lost in the struggles of your day. Do not forsake our time together. I love you, now and forever my child.

Second chances...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for a truly beautiful day God. I ask tonight for your guidance and direction. As we go out on this new adventure, I pray that you guide and lead us. I don't want to waste time wandering into places that you don't want us to be in. I really would love for you to just lead us to the exact place that you have for us.

I understand that there can be value in the journey, in the search. I understand that I have learned a lot from making the wrong decisions and the wrong turns. But, in this, I just want whatever your will is for me. I already know without a shadow of a doubt that what you want for me is better than anything I would choose for myself, so, this time, can we just jump to the end? Can you just take my hand and lead us to the right place?

What God Said Tonight:

Each and every day is a new beginning. Each and every moment is a second chance. I do not look at your past to determine where you will go next. I only look at your heart. I only look at the amazing child that I know you to be.

A life lived can color who you are. It can mask the beauty that I put in you. But it can never cover it enough that I don't see you. 

I love you. I have your best interest in mind, always and I will lead and guide you in this and all things. I am a light unto your feet my child. I love you now and forever.

Grave misfortune...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. My prayer tonight is for two young men who have gone missing. I am at a loss as to what could have happened to them. 

I pray that you reveal what has been hidden, that you protect and take care of them, and please, restore them to their families. I leave this in your hands God. The best and only thing I can do is turn them over to you.

What God Said Tonight:

The sun is setting and the warm glow is inching over the horizon. The time passes but I do not. 

Nothing goes by without my notice. A grave misfortune has occurred and there will be no compensation, but I will heal. I will strengthen. I will comfort. 

I love you, now and forever.

God takes care of it...

 

My prayer:

Wow God, you did it again. So many details, so many things that were wrong and in order to fix it, everything had to happen in such a precise timing today...none of which I had any control over. And you, you worked out every detail! 

You do it all the time, it should not surprise me but on days like today, I stand in awe God. Jaw dropping awe.

What God Said Tonight:

It is true joy to my heart to take care of you, to work everything for your good. A Father loves nothing more than to see every blessing come to his child. 

I will take care of you and every circumstance in your life, now and forever. Keep focused on me and let your heart be at peace. I will not let you down my child. I will tell you that as many times as you need me to tell you. I will not let you down, now or ever. 

Change is coming...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. Thank you for the peace and joy today. Thank you for guiding my life. I feel a shift coming. I am not sure what it means but I trust you to guide me through it, like you always do.

What God Said Tonight:

The morning sun will rise and the waves will hit the shore. There will be many things that go on as they always have before. But there will be things, things that not all will see that are changed, irrevocably changed. 

A change is coming and it is meant for your good, for your blessing. It is meant to bless my children and to sustain you for what is to come. 

I love you. I will provide for you and as always, I will take care of you. This change is not an ending but merely a blessing to provide for your future, my child.

Growth, maturity...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I found myself appreciating the gift of maturity today. There is a peace, and understanding, a knowing that comes from maturity. It is pretty fantastic. In a world gone crazy, I can still have peace.

Thank you for teaching me and maturing me God. You are the VERY BEST FATHER!

What God Said Tonight:

Can you see the golden city on the hill? Can you see it shine? I have prepared for you such a place. 

I have and always will be your Father. I was your Father before you even came to be. I know every hair on your head and I love every one of them. 

A life with me will mean growth, it will mean some struggle in that growth, but it will always be worth it. It will always result in your blessing. 

I love you sweet daughter and I look forward to an eternity of tomorrows with you.

Hidden blessing...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you for the blessings and help today. Sometimes it really is just about putting one foot in front of the other and trusting you to work out the details. I am choosing every day, every minute and sometimes every second, to trust you. And every day, every hour, and every second, you come through. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

The flowers of Spring are on their way. You may only see the occasional bit breaking through the ground but they are there and ready to spring forth. 

You can't always see the blessing that is waiting for you. You may see a hint but you can't truly know the beauty and glory I have for you. 

Trust in the season, trust in me, and I will show you great beauty. I love you my child.

In His presence...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for a pretty wonderful day. This was one of those days where just being alive was a joy. Thank you for all of the joy you bring to my life. The peace you bring is pretty wonderful too, but days like today are just pure joy.

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you now and forever my child. There is peace in my presence. There is joy in my presence. There is healing in my presence. When you stay in my presence, my gifts just do not stop. 

I am with you to guide you through the hard times but I am also with you to celebrate on days like today. 

You are where you need to be and I will bless you in it. 

The good news...

 

My prayer:

I love all you are teaching me right now God. I wish I was a better student. I wish I didn't need you to show me over and over a better way to live. But it is like Paul said, I find myself doing the very thing I hate. 

I pray for your continued healing and help to shape me into the person you would have me to be.

What God Said Tonight:

The ravages of sin truly take their toll my child. Your sin, yes, and the sins of those around you. They create deep wounds that take time and treatment to heal. 

The good news is I bring not only forgiveness of those sins but also healing from the wounds. I am your complete package and I will provide you with all that you need. 

Each day is a step and each day there is more to learn. I will guide you through. 

Victory...

 

My prayer:

You bless me like crazy God and you always come through for me. THANK YOU for this most recent example of that. I can never thank you enough. You are a continual blessing in my life and I love you more than I can ever say.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you my child. It is never any more or less than that. I love you now and forever and I will never let you down. Your trust in me will never be wasted or proven wrong. 

It is true, I have told you, I have taught you about the dangers of saying never and for you, that is true. But I know the beginning and the end and I can say with confidence, I will never let you down. 

We will celebrate this victory together and we will rejoice for many years to come. 

Child of my heart...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God, sweet Jesus, saviour. It is the night before we celebrate your resurrection. The night before the whole world changed. The night before you defeated death for our sake. There is no way to adequately recognize the significance of what you did for us. I remain in awe of your love for us and your sacrifice. I remain in awe of you.

What God Said Tonight:

A representation, a celebration, is never meant to equal the original event. A birthday is a celebration of your birth but never equals the joy experienced on the day of your birth. 

There is no pressure and no expectation of this celebration. It is enough that we spend the day together. It is enough that we remember together the culmination of our love. 

You are the child of my heart and I love you more than I loved life. 

No surprise...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for covering me today God. There were many times today that things could have easily gone a different direction and ended very badly but in each case, you covered me, you bailed me out, you turned things around for my good. You are amazing, thank you.

What God Said Tonight:

Never be surprised by my grace in your life. It is there for you always. I have covered you in the blanket of my salvation and that covers all matter of sin. 

I know your heart. I know your intentions. I am forever on your side. 

A team of one does not get very far but a team of two, or three can achieve anything. I love you.
