My prayer:

Thank you for a really great day God. Beautiful weather, a great bike ride, good food, a great book and time to enjoy it. Sometimes it really is the simple pleasures that make life worthwhile.

Thank you that you are always with me, in good times and in bad. Thank you for always taking care of me. I LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

I have walked so many miles in the shoes of those I love. I hurt when you hurt and I laugh when you laugh. 

I can't promise you a life without pain, without struggle. That is a byproduct of this world that has been damaged by sin. I can promise that no matter what is after you, no matter what the struggle, no matter how deep the pain, I will be right there with you. I will make a way out for you. I will heal the hurt and I will build you back stronger.

Life with God...

My prayer:

Thank you for your healing and your protection today God. There was a lot of tragedy and struggle throughout the world today, but that is nothing new. Sometimes I really wish I could go back to Adam and Eve and just tell them "No, DON'T DO IT!"

What would that world have looked like. What would life be like if there were no original sin separating God and man? If we had been obedient to your one rule, what would it have been like?

Maybe I don't want to know. It is harder to miss something if you don't know what it is, maybe.

I love you God and I anxiously await the day when the world is reconciled to you and freed from evil. 

What God Said Tonight:

I had a perfect world and a perfect plan that was delayed due to free will and evil. I have not lost the vision of that world. I am more dedicated to it than ever. I sacrificed my son for that vision. 

The thing is, now that you know life separated from me, life with me is sweeter. Just  as you can't really miss something you have never known, you can also never really appreciate something that you have always had. 

While this was not my original plan, in the end, the eternity we have together will be just that much sweeter for the things we have been through together. Don't waste time thinking of what could have been. Keep your eyes open to what is and what will be. 

Your dream...

My prayer:

Some days feel like swimming upstream through quicksand. Today was one of those days. I am grateful to be at the end of it. I am grateful for you and for your presence. I am grateful for the honor of hearing you speak.

What God Said Tonight:

I say it again, I have yet to see my children perish with their dream inside of them. 

Life without a dream is empty and dangerous. Live your dream each day. Even if it is just a little bit. Live it and know that I love your dream.

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am too tired to really think or put words together but not to tired to listen to my Awesome Father. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

I have just about finished. I have a little more to do. You will see the purpose and understand the cost when this is done. The burden has been heavy but the result is worth the pain. 

I have loved you from the dawn of time and I will love you past the end. You are perfectly and wondrously made in my image. 

Here is a little thing that you are holding against each other. It will seem so small to you in the reality of tomorrow. No matter the hurt, let it be free to die. 

Come back to your center, come back to me and we will see a new reality and a new joy together. 

Balance...

My prayer:

Another day and another set of challenges. At least I am not bored! Thank you for all of your help today God. Thank you for all of the healing you have done in me that allowed me to deal with the issues as they came calmly instead of getting frustrated, irritated and losing it.

You are wonderful and everything good in me is only because of you. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

A table has many uses but is always at its best when it is balanced. 

Find your balance in my peace. Then you can be used for so many useful things. 

An unbalanced table, an unbalanced person, can't be trusted to hold up.

Timing is everything...

My prayer:

Praying for hope and for strength. Praying for wisdom and guidance. Praying for help and stamina. Tonight God, if you have got it, I am praying for it.

What God Said Tonight:

I have more than enoghu for you child. You are feeling at the end of your rope but I will give you your next step, your next word, you next assurance that all will work for your good. 

I have everything you need and I am not stingy. I will hold it until the applicable time. There are so many things that if you receive them too early, they can destroy you. Receive them on time, have the greatest blessing. Receive them early and total destruction of your life, your family and your home. 

That is why it is so important to wait on my timing, even when it is difficult. Let your blessings be blessings in their right time. 

Time to stand...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am not very good at living life. Oh, I am successful and a goal achiever. But when it comes to just living and enjoying life, that I struggle with. One of the reasons I am glad that I never had kids is that means I never forced another human being to live life. 

That is really horrible isn't it? I mean life is a gift they tell me. And, in truth, I have had some amazing experiences and known some amazing people. But, at the end of the day, I long for the day that I can be with you in heaven. I long for the day where I am not bombarded with evil every day. It is exhausting and depressing and I have a great desire to run away, but where do you run in a world filled with it? 

I am sorry to dump on you tonight God. I am just in a bad place and need some help.

What God Said Tonight:

Thank you for opening your heart. This is not news to me you know. I know you better than you know yourself. 

The evil of the world is harder for some of my children than others. You have a great sense of justice and the need for [protection of those who are weaker. You were born with this and your life has nurtured it. It makes living in this world harder for you. 

But please know, I need you here, now. I need those who can't let the evil of the world win. I need people who know in their hearts that something is not right. And, I need you  to pray. I need you to fight. I need your spiritual weapons to be active and sharp. 

Stop numbing yourself to the world and allow that which I put in you to shine. I love you and now is not a time to run, now is a time to stand.

Spiritual war...

My prayer:

Well today was sure a lot better than yesterday! Thank you Jesus! I am happy and at peace here in your presence. What more could I ever ask for?

Awesome Father, I pray your will be done in every last thing here on earth just like it is in heaven. You reign and I worship you!

What God Said Tonight:

There is a war that has been brewing and is about to break out.You have sensed the tension. It is nearly time. 

I do not need you to fight this war. My warrior angels are primed and ready. I do need you to pray. I need you to use those spiritual weapons I have equipped you with and declare the truth in prayer. 

I will see this war end as swiftly as possible. 

On the other side is a peace you cannot yet imagine. It is a peace that has not been experienced on this world. 

I love you, I will protect you. Pray for victory. 

Stubborn evil...

My prayer:

Today was brutal God. Thanks for getting me through it! I am ready for rest and peace in your presence. 

Thank you for the high level of discernment and awareness today. It really helped!

What God Said Tonight:

Evil gets stubborn sometimes. It sticks around longer than you want it to and longer than it should. Your vigilance for evil cannot waver. 

Your spiritual weapons must remain sharp and at the ready. I have redeemed you and I have given you the power over evil. Use them. Fight the evil in the spirit world that is in attack mode over your life. The weapons of your warfare are not carnal but they are mighty. Use them, now and often.

Love...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I want to feel your love tonight. I want others to feel your love. Your love is like no other. Your love makes everything ok. There is a sweet fragrance to your love sometimes. God, let me feel your love surround and fill me.

What God Said Tonight:

I am here. In you, around you, with you always. 

My love is yours. I will not withhold my love from you. I could not if I tried. It was yours from the moment you were created. 

Some things just are. You don't question whether the sun is in the sky, even though you don't always feel its heat. You know, that it is there, always. Know the same about my love. Sometimes you feel it and sometimes you don't but it is more constant than the sun and more reliable than anything, ever.

My prayer:

I met a truly amazing person tonight God. A great grandfather of 26 great grandchildren who has lived and seen SO MUCH. What a blessing getting to know him. Thank you for bringing us together.

Each day, or at least most days, there is a little gem. At least one great moment. He was my gem today. 

God, I value those gems so much. Sometimes, when things are really rough, it are those gem moments that give me the fuel to make it one more day. Thank you for all of the gems you have put in my life.

What God Said Tonight:

I am the maker of gems. You could call me a jeweler but that does not really describe me. 

Everything good comes from me. I am the source of goodness and truth in this world. I am.

Direction...

My prayer:

Today was harder than I expected but here tonight with you, I am at peace. I am yours. I am waiting for your voice.

What God Said Tonight:

Finding direction on your own can be very complicated and sometimes impossible. 

Man has made so many tools to help you find your way, your purpose, your direction, and while they do not usually do harm, they are often so complicated to use, getting the right answer can be pretty difficult. 

It is one of the reasons that I was called "The Way" when I was on earth. I never meant for you to have to determine your purpose and direction in life. I had always planned that we would live life together and that I could be your navigator. 

Put your effort into hearing my direction and following me and I promise I will not let you down. Remember, throughout the day, not just here at night, ask me which way to go and I will guide you. I will lead you to your opportunities, your blessing, your purpose.

Trail blazing...

My prayer:

What a great day of rest today God. Thank you. Tomorrow is back to work and the uncertainty of it all. I ask for your help to remember that you have everything under control and that you are my provision, teacher, guide, and Lord. It is my intention to stay in your peace throughout the day, but I will probably need some help to do that.

What God Said Tonight:

Being the first to try something is not always the easiest position to be in. It takes courage and it takes trust. Many people will rather wait to see how it goes for someone else. 

I have not built you that way. I created you to be in front and to try the things others will not. You will never be satisfied doing what everyone else is doing. I created you to blaze trails. 

Remember that and embrace this season that you are in. Do not let fear or anything else keep you from moving ahead. I love you.

Terror...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. There are thousands of things that I love about you. One of them is that you understand me. You know what I am saying, even when I don't say it correctly. You know my heart. You know what I need before I even know that I need it. 

I really love that about you!

What God Said Tonight:

Your heart tonight is worried and it doesn't have to be. 

The terror around you will not harm you. This latest threat is not for you. You are protected in the shelter of my arms. 

Look at me, trust in me and let the terror pass over us like a fog blowing in from the sea.

Destiny season...

My prayer:

I am feeling a sense of anticipation and great hope tonight God. It feels like something great is coming. I am not sure what it is but I like this feeling!

Thank you for a great day, for strength and health. You are my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

The next step is so close and you are going to love it so much. It is a departure, a change, but one that will not be frightening at all. You will feel so immediately at home and at peace. You will have no doubt that it is from me. 

I am taking you into your destiny season. It is not wishful thinking and it is not your own hope speaking. I am here and it is time and I am taking you to great places.

A healing wave...

Too tired to think or talk but I would love to hear your sweet voice before going to bed. What is on your mind tonight God?

What God Said Tonight:

A healing wave is coming. The illness and damage that has been haunting my people is about to be wiped away. I will eradicate that which is keeping you from moving on. 

Be ready for healing. Be ready for wholeness. I am sending it your way. More is coming. Be ready to receive.

The demon of pride...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I am realizing tonight that I missed an opportunity to share your greatness today. And, even worse, I allowed someone to credit me with something that was really your doing. I am very sorry. 

Awesome God, all glory is yours. Everything good and right in me is only because of you in my life. I apologize that I did not make that clear today.

What God Said Tonight:

Your forgiveness is already yours. I have covered you, now and always with my sacrifice. I love you and I know you did not mean harm but I am glad that you have seen it. I am glad for you. Your future will be easier and better if you can remember this . 

It is not about doing right or wrong but it is about the demon of pride that can so quickly damage you. Pride is a weapon of the enemy and like so many weapons, it feels so good at first. That is what makes you allow it into your life. That initial rush. But, in the end, it will destroy you if you let it. Crushing it by bringing it out into the open is your best defense. 

I love you. I forgive you and I crush the pride that tried to get at you today.

The Father...

My prayer:

Today was interesting and eventful! Everything turned out ok because you always make things work for my good but it kept me on my toes for sure!

As I sit here tonight, I am having a hard time slowing down my thoughts. There are so many things running through my mind, I am having a hard time quieting that all down so I can listen to you. 

God, I ask for peace in my mind and my spirit so I can get my mind off of the world and onto you. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

There really is nothing to worry about. I am in charge and I will not let you down. Be at peace in the full knowledge and understanding that I am your Father and I will always take care of you. 

In a world that runs at a thousand miles per hour, you can't keep up. But, I can. Trust me to guide you. Trust that I will warn you of danger. Trust that I will get you through every challenge that lands in your path. 

I will not let you go and I will not let you down, ever. I am yours and you are mine and I will take care of you always. 

Find peace in that. Find rest in that. Find joy and freedom in that. Rest well my child.

The best...

My prayer:

My mind wandered around a lot of odd thoughts today God. I ask that you help me discern if there are any lessons that you would like me to learn out of those thoughts or if they were just random. 

In particular the thoughts about living a satisfying life. When my life is less than what I want it to be, I have the comfort that this life is just the beginning and I am just visiting here. But I wonder if that assurance has allowed me to accept less than the best in this life and more importantly, less than what you want for me.

Thank you for the time to rest enough to allow my thoughts to wander!

What God Said Tonight:

I want the very best for you. I want seas of diamonds for you. I want gold streets and jeweled walls for you. I want unceasing joy for you. I want divine health and wholeness for you. I want love that is unsurpassed for you. 

Never doubt what I want for you. What ever is the very best, that is what I want for you. I have an eternity with you and I will see you have the best of everything. 

I will also see you struggle and in those times, I will give you the best of what you need to get through the struggle. Since you are in this world, I will see you get hurt and I will provide you the best, deepest and most complete healing for the hurt.

Today...

My prayer:

I pray that your message and your love get out to the world even when we mess up the message. I pray that your purpose and your love get out to the world even when we get it wrong. 

As one of your imperfect kids, I have to know that you will make it right even when I get it wrong. Because I get it wrong a lot. 

What God Said Tonight:

A dream, a hope, a prayer for tomorrow is a feather on the wind. A prayer for today, for now, can have substance and strength. 

Let's look at this moment. Let's concern ourselves with this place in time. Tomorrow will always be there. I will take care of tomorrow. But, right now, right here, what is it that we need to do. Is there a hurt inside of you that needs healing? Is there a brokenness that needs mending. I am really good at that. 

Let's get you healed tonight. Let's see you made whole.

God's freedom...

What God Said Tonight:

I am pretty content tonight. No urgent needs, worries, requests. Just here to be with you and hear your voice.

What God Said Tonight:

A little faith and a lot of trust will get you through most anything. 

I am here, in you and in your life. That gives you freedom on many levels. It frees you from death. It frees you from worry. It frees you from guilt. The thing is, this freedom is available to you but you have to receive it. I won't force it on you. Your faith and belief in the freedom I provide has to be real and tangible in or life. When  it is, you can trust me and see the freedom I have for you loosed in your life and covering everything you do. 

My freedom is there for you. Do not cry and bang your fists on the floor in anguish. The fear, the depression, the lack of hope that the world lives with does not have to rule your life. You have me. Believe I will do what I have said I will do. Trust that I will be your God and take care of you and live in the freedom that I bought for you.

New season...

My prayer:

A week ago today, I had just been released from the hospital. That puts life in perspective! 

Thank you God for health, strength, recovery, and your love. You are truly wonderful and I am truly grateful.

What God Said Tonight:

A new day, a new season, a new challenge, a new blessing. Your new is here. Your break from the ordinary is before you. Your rut buster has arrived. The time for the old has past and the time to move into the new is here. 

Don't get stuck or stagnant holding onto an old season when a new season has arrived. The old season is comfortable. It may have even been fun. But if you don't let go, you can never see what I have for you next. You can never know the new joy I have for you. You will get stale and even the old that you love will grow cold and rotten. 

Don't resist this change. It is truly for your good.

A perfect ballet...

My prayer:

I am pretty worn out tonight God. Today was a bit rough. But, it definitely could have been worse! 

I ask for rest tonight God and help facing tomorrow with that hope and expectation you have been talking about.

What God Said Tonight:

Everything is coming together for your good. You may not see it yet. You can, if you look carefully. However, even if you can't see it, hear me and trust me that it is happening, now. 

You will see great wonders and stand in awe. I have set it in motion and am standing by you as it comes together. 

I love you and this is beautiful. Try to see it with me. Try to see the perfect blending of circumstances and timing to meet all of your needs. It is like a ballet. A perfect ballet. 

Hope...

My prayer:

What a great day! Feeling strong and able to find joy throughout the day. Thank you for all of the reminders and opportunities to connect with people today. It was fun!

What God Said Tonight:

I will give you a picture or a phrase not to tease you and not to give you some kind of premonition. I give these things to you to feed your hope. 

Life cam be so hard. I know, I remember. Without hope, there is often no way to get through the day or even the hour. I am your hope and through me I will always find those flashes of hope to give you in the hard times and the good. 

Keep your eyes and ears open. Look for the light in the distance, the silver lining, the glimpse of what could be. I have placed hope all around you and within you. Seek it out and it will sustain you.

WOOHOO! We made it! Thank you for all of your help today God. I could not have done it without you. 

I am so grateful for you in my life. You make me so much better, stronger, kinder, smarter, and successful than I could ever be on my own. Being your kid has some pretty awesome benefits.

What God Said Tonight:

I am taking you on a journey that will go through deep tunnels and majestic peaks. You will look out at times and think, "This is so wonderful, I can't believe I am here." You will look out at other times and think, "This is so awful, I can't believe I am here."

Through it all, never lose sight that we are moving forward. Through it all, never lose site that I am driving the train and have a destination in mind. 

The journey seems to take up all of your awareness at times but remember there is a destination and a purpose to the trip. I love you.

Tides...

My prayer:

What an awesome day God. Thank you for the lives that you touched and the people you healed. Thank you for the opportunity to be a part of seeing you wrap your love around people. Your anointing was so palpable. I absolutely loved it!

Tomorrow it is back to work. I pray for the strength and stamina to make it through the day without setting back the recovery at all. As you have done so many times before, as my strength wears out, yours comes in and gets me through. 

Have I told you lately how much I love you? You are my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

Each day is like the beach shortly after the tide has gone out. Everything is new. Some is expected. You always have sand and kelp. You always have some rocks and some shells. But sometimes the tide leaves big surprises as well. Some good, some rotten. 

Life is like this. Each day is new with some things expected and some that are not. Just because you have seen the tides of yesterday does not mean you know what the tide will leave for tomorrow. 

Remember to approach each day with he expectation of greatness. I am in you and when that is true, anything is possible. I love you and I have great surprises for you. Look to your new day with joy and expectation.

God's view...

My prayer:

There are moments in life that when I am anticipating them, I can't imagine getting through them. Those are almost always the moments that when they occur, I am shocked at how quickly and easily they are resolved. 

It seems to me that as long as I wait on your timing, everything works out exactly as it is meant to. The waiting for your timing can take years and even decades but when it is right, all I have to do is sit back and watch you take care of it. 

I guess there is a decision point in there for me. I have to recognize your timing. But, honestly, the only way I know if I understood your timing correctly is by seeing the outcome. 

I am a novice at this thing called life God. Thank you for your patience, your teaching and your help.

What God Said Tonight:

I have a better view of the landscape than you do. I see the end from the beginning. I see a far bigger picture than you can. That vision allows better understanding of timing and solutions to the daily challenges. 

I don't expect you to have my vision I just ask you to trust that I have it and I will help you with it. 

I love you and I will see you ushered through this life an into eternity in my Kingdom with grace and beauty. I will see you fulfilled and whole. I will see you, now and forever, as wholly and completely mine own.

What a WEEK God! We had joy, peace, fun, beauty, insight, intense pain, surgery, and miracles! Who ever said that living a life for God was boring? I need to talk to them and explain a thing or two! :)

Thank you for everything this week God. I pray for your continued guidance and healing. I pray for  your strength in me.

I believe I mentioned that you would gain great insight this week. I know it was dramatic but it was time to make some big leaps forward.

Rest and revelation...

My prayer:

Well I made it through this day God, thanks to you. It was a tough one. The best part is, we are now on vacation time! 

I pray and ask for your traveling mercies. Guide us, direct us, be with us, show us what you want us to see. I ask for a continued hedge of protection around us. 

You are my everything. Can't wait to spend some quiet time with you away from the craziness of the world. LOVE YOU!!

What God Said Tonight:

This is a time of rest but it is also a time of revelation. I want to show you somethings and teach you somethings during this time. 

Don't forget to take some time each day to just listen. I will be speaking, I will be teaching. There is much that I have to show you to prepare you for the next season.

Seeking God at all times...

My prayer:

Thank you for guiding my steps, thoughts and words today God. I think you kept me from making what could have been big mistakes. Life is so much easier when I listen to you. I hope I get better at always listening and following your guidance. 

Sometimes, throughout the day, I don't realize it is you speaking until it is too late. Other times, I think I hear you but I doubt and miss the opportunity. When I take the time, like now, to really listen, everything seems so much clearer. I would like that same level of clarity throughout the day.

I pray and ask for better discernment in the day-to-day moments of each day. 

What God Said Tonight:

I speak to you in the quiet times and I speak to you in the roar of life. My voice does not change. Your listening changes. 

Learning to diligent seek me at all times is not easy. It is a discipline. It takes effort and commitment. I can show you. I can show you the surrender needed. It is not easy. But I can show you. If you want. 

The surrender is a place of vulnerability and trust. It is also a place of certainty and peace. Dependence on me is strength. Surrender to me is freedom. Loving me is joy. 

I am here, speaking, all of the time. Surrender to my voice and trust me to be God, 

Right where you are...

My prayer:

Let's do something God. Let's go somewhere. Let's bless some people. Let's see a new corner of this world. Let's go somewhere and do something that matters.

What God Said Tonight:

Your blessing goes with you. You can find people to bless every time you get out of bed. Bless people right where you are. I have planted you there because I need people around you to see you, know you, trust you and come to me with your life as the example. 

We can go anywhere, and we will go many places. But, don't forget, I have a purpose and plan for your life and much of that is for the place I planted you with the people I have planted you with. 

Don't let your wanderlust keep you from seeing the blessing and work right in front of you. 

Seasons of life...

My prayer:

There is something about youth that makes you think that everything is possible and that your dreams are only a matter of time. Through the years, I have seen you bring so many dreams to pass, which is wonderful. Others have not happened and I think I have lost hope for them to happen. It seems like time is pretty short. 

I also have changed my motivation for dreams and goals. What I want is not so important anymore. I have seen that your plans are better than mine so I surrender to your will. There is peace in that surrender but it also less exciting. It shouldn't be. Especially since I am never sure what you are going to do next. It should be more exciting. 

I don't know God. I guess I am just feeling the years tonight and missing the fire of youth.

What God Said Tonight:

I have seasons for a reason. There is a time for the fire of youth and a time for the peace of maturity. 

The truly great thing is that you get to take all of your experiences with you every day for the rest of eternity. Your youth is a part of you. Your maturity is a part of you. The next season, is a part of you. You will take it all with you into eternity with me. 

You bring all of you to the throne and your praise, your worship reflects the beauty of every blessing and every struggle you have been through. Your worship is a reflection of all of you and it is so beautiful to me. I love all of you. 

Don't diminish any season in your life. Find the beauty in it that I see in you.

The rain...

My prayer:

Sitting in peace tonight God. It is a pretty nice spot. There are still plenty of worries, questions, circumstances all around me. But right now, here with you, I sit in peace. One of the greatest gifts of a life with you is your peace. Your healing is still my most favorite but peace is right up there. 

Thank you for your peace that is bigger and stronger than any problem that comes against it.

What God Said Tonight:

The rain comes and leaves beauty, life and joy in its wake. It doesn't come with the intention of destruction, although sometimes that happens. It does not come with the intention of putting out fires although sometimes that happens. 

Rain comes because of other factors that produce it. What it leaves behind is not really within its control. Blaming the rain for the flood or giving it credit for putting out the fire is giving the rain more power than it should have. 

Inspiration, dedication, freedom...

My prayer:

I am inspired by people who don't accept limits and believe they can do anything. I am inspired by people who are always striving to be better and don't take failure to heart. I am inspired by people who can love in the face of any adversity. I am inspired by people who never, no matter what, lose faith in you God. 

Thank you for all of the inspiring people in my life. I pray God for your help to be more like those who inspire me.

What God Said Tonight:

Inspiration is the fire. Dedication is the work. Freedom is the reward. 

When you can truly live the life that I intended for you, you live free of guilt, shame, 'what ifs' and self hatred. You live free of judgments from other people. You live free to believe you are who I say you are. 

Let your inspiration lead you to freedom. 

You are an amazing child of God who is covered in my blood and made holy. Nothing is impossible for you because you are mine. I love you, now and forever.

Because of the amazing people you put in my life, today was a continual reminder that I am loved. That is pretty awesome! Thank you for filling my life with such incredible people and thank you for loving me!

It's ready really, really, soon but not yet. I have something that has been in the works for awhile for you and we are so close but not quite. 

I can't wait to show you. I can't wait to give it to you. I know you will  love it. You will see the purpose of so many of the struggles that you have been through. The purpose will be clear.

My prayer:

I am physically and emotionally exhausted and I have no real excuse as to why.  But that is where I am at tonight God. Everything I can think about to talk about sounds like whining so I think tonight I better just listen. 

What God Said Tonight:

It is not going to be as bad as you think. I know you are dreading it. I know you have built up in your mind that you are going to hate it. But, the truth is, there is a blessing in it. There is love in it. 

The truth is I can turn anything for your good, even those things that you are determined to hate, if you will let me. 

I love you. I have surrounded you with people who love you. Let us do that.

Together with God...

My prayer:

Right here, right now with you, there is peace, contentment, joy, and comfort. There is nothing better than your presence God. It really is the only place I ever want to be for the rest of eternity. In your presence.

The world goes crazy and I know you have heard my prayers for the needs of my friends throughout the day. But, now, here with you, I ask that you receive my love. Receive my worship. I pray that you get even a sliver of the joy from being with me as I get from being with you.

I am with you. I sacrificed my son so I could be with you. I paid the ultimate price so I could be with you. 

I love you more than you can ever know. I will do whatever I have to do to make sure we are always together. There is a plan for all humanity that is based on the simple principle of creating ways for us to be together. It is the most important thing.

Wait upon...

My prayer:

A day of changes again today. I am not sure what all you are teaching me but I am learning to go with the flow. More than ever, I understand that my 'plan' for the day is nothing more than a fleeting idea and your plan is the one we will follow. Thank you for always making sure your plan is better than mine! Love you Daddy!

What God Said Tonight:

I have not yet been waited upon in this season. I have more to come. I have more to give. Wait upon me. 

Wait with anticipation and patience. Wait on the blessings, wait on the purpose, wait on the glory. I have it all for you, waiting on the perfect time.

New earth, new heaven...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I really do love you. Not just because you loved me first, even though you did and not just because of the wonderful things you do for me, even though you do. I love you because of who you are and what I feel like when you are around. I love your presence. There is nothing better and nothing sweeter than your presence. 

What God Said Tonight:

Today is nothing more than a step in the process of reshaping this world into the original plan. There were wars and rumors of wars today. There were great tragedies and great joy. Today was unremarkable other than it has brought you one step closer to a life lived in a new earth and a new heaven. 

I have such a place picked out for you. We have been building your palace and making your crown. None of it is done yet but it will be ready for you in time. I can't wait to show it to you. You are really going  to love them.  

You are my sweet child and my  love for you will never die and never diminish. 

Seeds...

My prayer:

Thank you for another reminder that I may think I know how a day will go but that you always have surprises for me! I really enjoyed today's surprises. You took what seemed like it what was going to be a grueling day and made it kind of fun. 

I love having you in charge of my life!

What God Said Tonight:

You never really know what you are going to get by looking at the seed. Sometimes the smallest seeds will yield the biggest plants, and visa-versa. 

The beginning of a thing is often not reflective of the end. Those small, almost unnoticeable beginnings in your life can turn into life changing and world shaking events. 

I love you. Trust me with the seeds of your life and I will see them grow into glory.

Hope that lasts...

A day with new hope Lord! Thank you! 

What God Said Tonight:

You have hope because you have waited on me. You have hope because you have trusted me. You have hope because you see the light at the end of the tunnel. 

If your hope was only based on seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, it could not be trusted. The only hope that lasts is the hope that is rooted in your faith in me. 

It is not that way for everyone. People who do not follow me can find hope in a mud puddle, a star formation, really anything. But, in me, you have hope that is realized. You have hope that actually becomes your new truth.

Spirit war...

My prayer:

I have a lot of random thoughts running through my mind tonight God. Some are peaceful, content thoughts and some are definitely not. They don't seem to have any real direction but I am not sure I would call it confusion. Just kind of on a mind wander tonight.

Usually, that means I need to be quiet and listen. What you have to say is always a lot more interesting than any random thought running through my head. 

Ears open, mouth shut. :)

What God Said Tonight:

There is a war that has been raging in the spirit world for many years now. It is escalating. It is coming to a head. Soon, the victor will reign. Soon the carnage will be over. 

The fall out of this war is all around you. The casualties are people you know and love. No one likes the carnage of war but there are times when nothing else can rid the world of evil and tyranny. I have to rid the world of this evil once and for all. This war is step one. 

The disquiet in your soul, the feeling that things are not right, the sense that violence is around the corner, those thoughts are not your imagination. Those thoughts are your spirit sensing the battle around you. I tell you this now not because I need you to do anything but to help you to know the root of the issue. I tell you this now because it is close to finish. 

I love you and I am fighting for you every day. 

Fear...

My prayer:

Thank you for today God. A day full of fun, hope and friends. Life might not be perfect but days like today remind me that it is still worth it. 

Now, in the quiet of the evening, I am at peace here with you and waiting on your words and your voice to make my night complete.

What God Said Tonight:

I have not given you a spirit of fear. I know why fear has wiggled in. I know the circumstances that have kicked a hoke in your side and left you vulnerable. 

But, I am your God. You need not fear. I have a plan, I have a way out for you. I have your healing. It is at hand. It is not possible for me to show you all of what is in the way of this manifestation but know that I am working it out. 

Go, sleep in the peace that I am working it out, for you, for your good. 

I love your heart to serve, your inquisitive mind, your need to figure it all out. I will show you the whole picture one day, I promise. Right now, that is not possible. Trust in me and throw the fear out the window. It really has no business being in you, child of God.

Struggles...

My prayer:

There are some struggles I can understand. I may not like going through them, but I can understand why they are there. I can understand how good can come out of them. Somehow, that makes it easier than the struggles that just go on and on and nothing seems to make it better. Those are the ones that seem so senseless and are so hard to get through. 

God give me strength, peace, direction and if you are willing, give me understanding of this struggle. And, as soon as you are ready, please give me relief and complete healing.

What God Said Tonight:

NO struggle is ever wasted. The long ones, in particular, are the ones that teach you things about yourself and about me. They are the ones that have you seeking me at midnight and searching out deeper truths. 

I don't mean to make light of it. The pain is very real. The suffering is not something I would ever choose for you. But, in this world, you will have trials, tribulation, suffering. I am working on changing that. Soon there will be a new heaven and a new earth where those truths no longer apply. But, for as long as we are in this world, you will have my help, my strength, my peace and my deliverance. 

Even when you think I have forgotten your suffering, I won't let you down. I feel every hurt and every struggle as deeply as you. I took them on for you. I will never forget and I will never turn my back on you. See how I work it all for your good. Always and forever my love.

More blessed...

My prayer:

Today sure turned out better than I was expecting it to. THANK YOU JESUS! As you know, I was kind of dreading it and spent a fair amount of time this morning asking for your help. And you really showed up God. Not in the way I expected, but as always in a way that was even better. 

That is one of the joys of living this life with you. Just when I think all is lost, you show up and show me new life and new hope from a totally unexpected direction! Thank you thank you thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

A house is a palace to a man who is living on the street. Much of life and the experience of life is related to your perception. 

I have great things for you. Things that others will look at and say, "Wow! Look how blessed she is!!!" But, for you, it will be just the next step in the process and it will be harder to see the true magnificence of it. 

Once in a while, take a step back from your life and from yourself and imagine what it looks like to others. I bet you will find that you are more blessed than you ever realized.

My prayer:

Wisdom and guidance God. I need it more now than ever before. I am feeling that extreme uncomfortableness that proceeds great change but I have no idea what the change should be. 

I only want your will for my life. I don't want to chase rainbows that take me away from your plan. 

I am yours. I am all yours. Show me what is next. Show me when to move. I will follow your lead. Please lead me.

What God Said Tonight:

Dawn is different. The start of a new thing is seldom something that happens all at once. It is usually gradual like the sun coming over the horizon. You first see a shaft of light, then a bit more, then a bit more and before you know it, the sky is ablaze with light. You don't think about making dawn happen. It is there and before you know it, you are in a new day. 

I don't need you to do much. The change is coming and you will see the path. It will be obvious. What you can do in the mean time is remember your passion. Remember all of the things you said you would do. Remember every lost dream and give them life again. 

I will bring you some unexpectedies in this season. I will bring you some opportunities that speak to the dreams of your youth. Long forgotten in your mind but still present in your heart. I love you.

Walking away...

My prayer:

Thank you for healing me! Thank you for the surprise gifts today too!! You are so wonderful God. You make life worth living. I know each day has its struggles but I am SO GRATEFUL I don't have to face them alone, without you. I couldn't do it. I wouldn't want to try.

What God Said Tonight:

Walking away from something is never easy but walking toward something is almost always exciting. Live a life of walking toward your next adventure, blessing, challenge, joy. 

I will lead you. 

But never get stuck holding onto the things that don't let you move forward. There is death in that. There is life in letting go and moving forward.

Restoration...

My prayer:

I need your healing power tonight God. If there is something to learn with it too, fantastic. I am open and listening. But, I really need your healing too. Thank you for taking our sickness. Thank you for the gift of healing. 

I bind any evil and it's attachments and cast them to the pit of hell in the name of Jesus Christ. God, kill this thing at the root. Fill me with your Holy Spirit so there no room for them to return. Thank you Jesus!

Healing is yours. Restoration is yours. Manifestation is yours. Wholeness is yours.

The wave of love...

My prayer:

Awesome God. It sure seems like there is a lot more opposition to you these days. Tonight's broadcast, that was the first time we had people actually trying to start problems. How can people be against you? You are love. How can people be against love? 

I know it is not that simple and I know a lot of people have been hurt by people doing things "in your name." I hate that we are not better reflections of your love so people can see you more clearly. 

I guess that is my prayer God. I pray that a new revelation of your love be launched tonight. Let a wave of your love cover the world. Let people who have never known you love, experience it for the first time. Let people who know you love get a fresh revelation of it.

Storms...

My prayer:

I love you. I am grateful for you. I need you. I worship you. Now and forever God.

What God Said Tonight:

Waiting through the storm is never fun but you can find ways to wait with joy. A storm is a great excuse to hibernate with a good book. A storm is a great excuse to cozy up with a fire. A storm, while noisy and frightening, can bring a lot of good as well. 

The same is true of storms in your life. They are loud and frightening but if you wait them out, they will bring growth and joy to your life. I am with you in every storm.  I will not let it destroy you. Wait out the storm with me and let's see what the sun brings.
