My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for another day in paradise. This is such a wonderful life you have given me. It has not always been this blessed but not, today, I cannot believe how blessed I am. I fell like you have truly brought heaven to earth and put me in the middle of it. 

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS SEASON! It can last forever and I would be ok with that. LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

Everything is as it should be and as planned. I have you where I need you for now and love that you are blessed in it. 

Walking in the glory of my presence and will for your life will always leave you blessed, fulfilled, and filled with joy. Not that it is always easy. Sometimes it can be very difficult. But the result, and even the journey if you will let it, will bless you beyond measure.

I have you where I need you. You will rest in your blessing.

Strong foundation...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Lord. Thank you for today. I feel like I am firmly back on a path that you wanted me on, but which had to go on hold for a bit. It is great to be back on that path, knowing it is where your heart is. Living a life firmly rooted in your grace, that is the good news. That is the gift that is ours to receive. Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

A building is built with rocks and  mortar and stone; with timber and boards. But no part of the house can be built or can stand without a firm and strong foundation. 

I have built your foundation and even though this last year or two may have felt like a break in the path, it was only the time to allow that foundation to cure. To allow that foundation to fully seat itself and be ready for all that we will build upon it.

My prayer:

Amazing Jesus. You are, well everything. 

Without you, I wouldn't even have an opportunity to be having this conversation. You fought for me, you suffered for me, you died for me, and you rose again for me. Everything good in my life is because of what you have done for me. 

Thank you is too little to say. You are amazing and I am eternally grateful.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you. Everything comes from that love. 

There is nothing to figure out. There is no other logic needed. I gave everything because I love you and needed to make a way for us to live eternity out together. 

I would do it again, in a minute.

Today's mission...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for today. A little less drama was a nice change. Although, I truly can't complain. Your peace is so amazing and it keeps me centered in chaos.

I guess my real question, the one that is on my heart tonight, is what is next. The now that you have given me is wonderful and I am loving it. If we want to just stay here for awhile, I am VERY ok with that. But I do wonder, what is next? Where are we headed?

Just curious. Anything you can share would be great. Thanks Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

A chapter in your life has been closed but there are still things that are unresolved. There are still pieces that have not fully fallen into place. 

I see great things in your future. I always have great plans for you. But we are not done with this season yet. We have more to do, more to see, more to heal in this season before we walk into the next one. 

Each day, focus on what we have for that day. Complete the mission for that day and tomorrow will take care of itself. I love you.

Get to know God...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. I saw some glimpses today, some things that reminded me of how hard life is when we try to live it outside of your peace, your love, and your joy. It is truly hell on earth. 

God I pray that you give every single person at least a moment to experience the peace, love, and joy that comes from a life lived with you. Everyone needs to see it is possible. They still might not choose to follow it but they have to know what they are missing. 

It isn't something that can be described. It isn't something that can even be understood. It can only be experienced. I pray that everyone have some chance to experience that, to experience you.

What God Said Tonight:

A true experience of a life with me only comes through a relationship built with me. I would love to grant every person the love and joy and peace that I intended for them from the beginning of time; however, they cannot receive it until they know me. They don't know how. They don't know what it is. It is only through coming to know me, drawing close to me, that it is even possible to experience the glory that is a life in me, with my Spirit in you. 

I can promise to do all that I can to give every person that opportunity to know me. That open door to meet me and to come to know me. That is a promise I made to mankind many years ago and I will not back out on it. It is not until every person has been given that chance that we will move into the next phase of our eternity together.

Beyond value...

 

My prayer:

A beautiful day with a little bit of everything. Thank you God for every minute of it. I pray, as always, that your will is done in every aspect of my life. 

What God Said Tonight:

A quiet moment, a slow breath, a chance to listen, these things are beyond value. I have given you a life with the opportunity for these.

Sweet Father. I am in awe of you. That is all.

What God Said Tonight:

Every night and every day is one more opportunity to live out the glory and the joy that I have stored up for you. 

There is no need for worry. There is no need for angst. I am in control and I am your Father. You can truly trust me for all things and all circumstances. There is nothing in this world, in this universe, in this reality that can surprise or overcome me. And, I am 100% on your side. I will care and defend you always. 

Please learn to live in that constant assurance. You will find so much joy and peace there. 

Rhythm of the earth...

Treasuring every moment of this life you have given me God. I remain grateful. 

You have given me the desires of my heart. Thank you Sweet Father, amazing Brother/Friend, and Holy Spirit. 

My prayers are short these days because you are so amazing and take care of everything so well. I stand in awe of you.

What God Said Tonight:

My breath is the wind. Listen in the wind and hear my voice. My heart beats with the rhythm of the earth. Listen to the rhythm and hear my heart. 

I am in and all around you. I am fully integrated in you and your entire world. I cannot ever leave you.

Joy...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for another wonderful day God. I pray for you protection and guidance tomorrow. Guide and direct us God and help us to find the joy in every moment.

What God Said Tonight:

Joy exists outside of circumstances and originates in me. It is much like peace. You don't have to have a life without stress in order to have peace. What is remarkable about my peace is that it can be found in the middle of a raging storm and can feel more powerful, more profound, in that moment than it does when it comes during the calm. 

The same is true of joy. Joy comes from me and I can give you joy in the middle of tragedy. It is often more amazing to find joy at those times than it is when everything is going well. 

My gifts to you are not transient. They are meant to last a lifetime and beyond. I love you sweet daughter. 

New depth...

 

My prayer:

Thank you God for blessing and direction. Thank you for perfect peace. I am so deeply grateful for this life you have given me. Now I get 5 days to do nothing except enjoy it...Wow.

What God Said Tonight:

A new level, a deeper level, is on the way. Your core is strengthened and ready for more. 

I will lead you in this journey and you will not lose what I have given you, what I have shown you, but only build upon it. A physical and emotional healing and strengthening has already taken place. Now we embark on the Spiritual. 

It is going to be so much fun! I love you daughter. Walk my path and I will take you to great depths.

No better life...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God, I know I am sounding like a broken record but I can't stop being in wonder and awe of the life you are giving me. Mom said it best today, it is surreal. 

I have never been so content and so happy in my life. Thank you for every blessing, large and small. Thank you for knowing what will be a blessing better than I do.

I celebrate you in every moment.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you. There is nothing more or less to say. I love you and I love getting to show that to you. 

Live in my Kingdom and experience my Glory. There is no better life.

Harvest...

 

My prayer:

I look at this life you have given me God and I an in awe. I had no idea that life could be this wonderful. There are challenges but none that you overcome. And, there is so much joy. So much peace. Thank you for this season and time in my life God. It is the best one yet.

What God Said Tonight:

Every seed grows when it is nurtured and cared for. Some seeds grow into flowers, others trees, others grass but no one seed is more important or better than another. 

You planted many seed in your life and you are seeing the harvest. You are watching them grow up around you. This is the time to enjoy the harvest. To revel in what the seeds have become. 

I celebrate in this with you. You, my beloved.

Compassion...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Lord. Thank you for caring about every little thing. I am so grateful that I can bring literally anything to you and you listen and you take care of it, every time. Thank you for hearing this latest request. I leave it in your hands.

What God Said Tonight:

Compassion always has room in my Kingdom. I will always respond when the heart, when the core, is out of compassion. 

Compassion is one of the most powerful expressions of my love. Not sympathy but true compassion where your deepest heart is filled with sorrow for the other and you truly want nothing more than their healing, their joy, their protection. 

That is a prayer, a love, that I can respond to every time. I love you sweet child.

Ride the wave...

 

My prayer:

Today was all about finding the silver lining in the clouds so to speak. That is something I am pretty good at, finding the good side of bad news, but only because of you in my life God. You have shown me over and over that there is almost always a way to find the blessing in a situation. It is one of the many things I am grateful to you for. 

Thank you for being my ever present silver lining.

What God Said Tonight:

There are two ways to ride waves. You can ride on top of them, like many do. It is thrilling but can be pretty dangerous. 

You can also ride underneath them. You can go with the flow of the tides and give yourself over to them. It can still be exciting. You are never sure where you are going to go or how fast you will get there. But, it is much less dangerous and you are more likely to get to your destination in one piece. 

I give you the choice, ride on top of the waves and fight your way through the surf or give yourself over to the flow under the waves and let me take you to entirely new depths of meaning and purpose.
