Break down the walls...

 

My prayer:

Mighty and awesome God. The privilege you give us to come to you, just as we are, covered in the blood of Christ is pretty unbelievable. I have known you most of my life and I can take it for granted sometimes. You are always with me and that makes it easy to forget what a privilege that is.

For some reason, tonight, it is clear to me, it is new again and I am so grateful. Thank you Jesus, Father, Holy Spirit. There is no gift like you presence. Thank you for letting me be here with you.

What God Said Tonight:

A lot of things happen and they build upon each other until you suddenly have a wall, when all you started out with were a couple of bricks. 

I am here to break down those walls. I will break them to pieces because they are keeping you from all that I have for you. They were built over many years but I will bust them apart, into dust, in one moment. It will be as though they were never there. 

I have a life of freedom planned for you and there is no place for walls in that life. I love you my child. Be free in me.

God will wait...

 

My prayer:

I really do my best to follow your lead God. I know I get it wrong sometimes but I promise, I am trying. 

I pray that you heal my heart, make me whole, so I don't hurt others out of my own hurt. You have healed so much in me God, and I am so grateful for your healing. But, I know there is more. I know it when I overact and get angry. I know it when I feel bitterness well up in me. I know it every time I fail to put you first. If I was healed and whole, those things would not be an issue.

I love you Father. I love you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

A week, a day, a month or a year, these timeframes are not important. I am the God of eternity and I will wait forever for you. 

I will wait as long as I need to to give you the time and space to find your healing and your wholeness. It is before you but you may need time to receive it all. 

I am yours and you are mine and there is no space ebtween us. This is already done.  

Turning it around...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for bringing me through today. You always give me enough. Enough energy, strength, wisdom, strategy, and faith to get through what I need to get through. Today was not a day where I had an abundance of those things, but I had enough and that was all I needed. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

A cursing that was meant for you, a cursing that targeted you, is being turned into a blessing. Its intention was to take you out but I am turning it around and will see it bless you. 

No weapon formed against you can prosper. You know that. Now, the rest of the world will know. You can't curse my kids. The children of God will always be blessed. 

I love you now and forever my child. It is nearly finished.

On track...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. One step after another. I am trusting you to guide each step. 

I am starting to have a whole new level of understanding that waiting for life to be calm and without trauma is really never going to happen. I have often thought, if I can just get through this thing, everything will be ok. But there is always another thing to get through.

That all sounds pretty hopeless, but it is not. With your peace and your guidance, in the middle of the fire, I can still have peace and joy. That is what is so amazing about living life with you. No matter the circumstances, I can have peace and joy because you live in me.

What God Said Tonight:

A silence, a time when I am not responding, does not mean you are off track. It often means you are right on track. 

I love you and I will guide you because you are my child and you have asked me to. But a horse only needs to be reined when they are not going the direction you want them to go. If they are headed on the path home, you can let the reins go slack and let them have their head. 

That is what this time is with you. You are on the right track, going where you need to go. If you veer off, I will rein you in but for now, you have your head. Keep going.

God says rest...

 

My prayer:

Mighty God. I love the peace that you have placed in me during this season. It is definitely NOT a result of everything going well and being easy. But in the midst of the challenges, I have your peace settled in me. 

It is an anchoring calm that is rooted in the knowledge that you will take care of everything. Thank you so much. This is a much better way to live than worrying all the time.

What God Said Tonight:

Work is done for today, for the week. I need you to rest. I want you to have the time to refuel in my Spirit. 

I know you don't think you need it. I know there are many other things you could do. But I am asking you, for one day, rest in me and let me restore you. 

Everything will get done in its own time. But if you push it and deny the rest you need, it will take much longer, and will be much harder. I promise. 

I love you and I would see you rest in me.

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for insight and healing. Thank you for revealing those things in our past that still leave scars on us today. Those things that make us less than what you would have us be. Fill us with your healing power.

What God Said Tonight:

Every drop, every step, every day, every healing moment brings you one step closer to my Glory. My Glory is before you and will pull you toward your future. 

I have saved you. I have healed you. Now, I will pull you toward eternity with me like a magnet pulls metal. There is not anything that can break this tie between us. 

Your path is set.

Always waiting...

 

My prayer:

You fill my life with amazing adventures God. Thank you for every one of them. Every opportunity, even the ones that don't seem like much at the time, is preparation for something you have in mind in the future. You have taught me to pay attention, even to the little things, the little lessons.

Living life with you is pretty wonderful God. Thank you.

What God Said Tonight:

Waiting is not something you do for a time. Waiting is a way of life for my children. 

Not that you won't ever get anywhere or achieve anything. No, that is not what I mean at all. I will destine you to succeed, every time, in the end. 

No, what I mean is that as long as you are on this earth and Jesus has not returned, you have not seen all that I have for you. In that sense, you are always waiting. 

You are waiting to see the fulfillment, the wholeness of what I have for you. For the life I have created for you. Do not get discouraged in the waiting. Rest in the waiting knowing that it is nothing more than the assurance of my promise on your life.

My prayer:

Amazing Father. Thank you for your protection and your peace. Today was really wonderful in its simplicity. Living life with you is pretty amazing and I remain SO GRATEFUL!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Days and nights will pass and there will be no sign of the passing time except that when you look back, you see your path behind you. 

There is the saying that hindsight is 20/20 and it is very true. Your benefit, your blessing is you have me on your side and since I am in the end and the beginning, I already have the hindsight to guide you. 

I am yours and I will guide the steps of your path all the days of your life. My sweet daughter. We will rejoice in heaven this day and rest on earth tonight.

What you don't see...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. I pray for your help. Or, I guess I am really praying for your peace since you have already told me you are taking care of this situation. 

The circumstances don't look good and I have done all that I know to do and all that you have told me. You have told me that you will take care of it. But, sitting here tonight, I am just working really hard to look at you and not the waves. They are stirred up and soaking my feet, but I know if I keep my eyes on you I will walk and not sink. 

I know all of that in my head but my heart and my gut are not on board tonight. I pray for your perfect peace.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not always what you see that is the truth for your future. It is often all that you cannot see that determines your future. That is why you can count on me, I see all things. 

I am seeing the things that you can't and I am maneuvering you around them. I am making a way through to the other side of victory and I will not let you down. 

Rest. Rest now. I am handling it all. When you are on the other side of this, it will be like so many other times when you wonder why you ever worried at all.

Love provided...

 

My prayer:

Sweet and wonderful Jesus. Thank you for your healing power today. This day could have been a lot different, a lot worse, if it had not been for you. YOU ARE AMAZING!

What God Said Tonight:

My love provided for you. Your healing, your salvation are the results of my love. The root of all that you are and all that you have is my love. My children are made and raised in my love. It is the root of everything good in your life. 

The gifts from my love are meant to be received. You never need to beg or plead for them. They are already yours. They are on the table before you and are only waiting that you pick them up. I have bought and paid for them before you even lived. 

I am yours and you are mine forever my child. Let us relax in the joy of healing and restoration tonight.

Christ's return...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. I am feeling inspired tonight. Thank you for the reminder of how impactful one life can be. You are amazing and your teachings, your guidance often does not make sense at the time, it is often not the logical choice, but it is always the right choice.

Forgive those who have hurt you. Love those that hate you. These things don't make sense but they are always right. 

Please keep teaching me the things that don't make sense but are right.

What God Said Tonight:

Watching for the sun on the horizon does not make it rise faster. But watching for it can make sure you do not miss the glorious moment that it peaks over the horizon. Look for me to return, not to hasten my  return but to be present and able to rejoice in it. 

Do not miss that moment. It will be one that can never happen again. Watch for me. Look to the horizon. Know, as clearly as you know that the sun will rise, I will come. I will come again to the earth and we will see the future together my child. 

I love you. Thank you for waiting for my return.

No worry...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Another day with your guidance and favor. I can't imagine living this life without you and I am grateful that I don't ever have to. I love you God.

What God Said Tonight:

Now is not the time for grave predictions and worry for the future. Now is the time to live in the moment, in trust, and in faith. 

My children are not meant for a life of worry and stress. Being my child means that you can leave the worry behind and live in a constant state of blessed assurance. It is not so hard to do. It is simply trusting that I have your best interest at heart and that I am in charge. If you can truly believe those two things, you will never worry another moment in your life. 

I want that for you. I want you to live a life filled with calm assurance and joyous celebration. I am yours and you are mine my child. Now and forever.

Whose battle is it...

 

My prayer:

Today was a little rough God. I pray for your healing and restoration tonight. I pray for your strength to strengthen me. Sweet savior and brother Jesus, I pray for your mercy. 

I am yours, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

Sweet daughter, you know you only need to call my name. You know that I am always here for you in times of trouble, when you need help. I am your strong tower and I will not let you down. 

The battles you were in today were not yours. They were not even mine. The battles today were others' battles and you just got caught on the periphery in some cross fire. Don't let their battle damage you. 

Your compassion is good, it is right, but don't get into a battle that is not yours. I fight your battles for you. You do not have to fight others' battles for them. 

I am your victory and I love you now and forever my child.
