The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. One more step...

 


My prayer:

Amazing Father. I really tried to change my focus today when I knew things were going down a wrong road, but I did not do a very good job of it. I am going to need your help with this newest, or maybe it is my oldest, challenge. It is clear I can't do it on my own. I pray for your help.

What God Said Tonight:

Sweet daughter, I never ask you to do it on your own. I am your ever present help. 

I have brought this to your attention not to bring you shame but to bring you healing. I have brought it to the forefront so we can heal and resolve it, once and for all. 

I have come into your life to provide you with many things, including freedom from everything that is holding you back. Everything that is getting in the way of the joy and wholeness that I intended for your life. 

This is one more step in that journey. You do not need to take it alone. Lean on me, call out to me, just say my name in the moment of crisis and I will be there. I will help. I will guide you. 

I love you now and forever my child.
