The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. And, here we are...I hope He speaks to you in these words.

Freedom...


 

My prayer:

Awesome Jesus. Freedom has such a deeper meaning when I consider it in relation to the life you have given me. The life you sacrificed for so I could have it. You have given me freedom from death. You have given me freedom to live. Incredible and almost unbelievable, but it is true. 

As we celebrate freedom here in our country today, I celebrate also you, the ultimate provider of my freedom. 

What God Said Tonight:

Sweet daughter. I celebrate with you. Your freedom came at a cost but it is a price I would pay a million times over. 

You are free to love, now and forever.
