The life of a rock...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I place every worry and every concern in your hands tonight. I trust you to work out every detail, big and small. 

I pour out my gratitude for all that you have done and the blessings you have covered me with.

I trust you with it all.

What God Said Tonight:

Every rock and every pebble has a place in the sand that makes up the world. No matter how big or how small the rock, it has a place and a purpose. That place and purpose change over time. 

It may start as a mountain and then become a boulder that rolls down the hill. I may further break into rocks and stones that roll even further. Some may get caught in a stream where they are rolled smooth and become smaller and smaller until one day they find themselves on the beach, among the sand. They may stay on the beach, they may get caught up in the surf but one day, they will end up as sand. 

The life of a rock is a long one but it is one filled with adventure and change over time. I see your life this way. Your shape and purpose, even your location is changing over time but it is always part of the adventure. It is always part of my purpose. 

This season, love, trust, know that I am God and know that this is not forever.

Not tonight...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I do not have anything interesting to talk about tonight but I would love to hear your words. 

What God Said Tonight:

It is not time tonight. I am with you. I love you. I will never leave you  but tonight is not the night to talk about anything more. Go, rest, and trust that I am God and your life is safely in my hands.

Fear...

My prayer:

Awesome God, fear is ruling our world right now and it is hard to argue with it. This world is a pretty scary place. Viruses killing people, people killing people, so much coming at us every second.

There is only one place to turn and that is to you. There is only one who is bigger than any threat and bigger than any fear and that is you.

Amazing Father, I put myself in your hands. I pray your will is done. I pray your protection around me, my family, my friends, my pets, my home, and this world. Guide us through this time with your infinite wisdom.

What God Said Tonight:

A fear is not a thing of substance. It is why fears can be so hard to fight. They are made of the air. They are made of thoughts. They are not real. They are only what we think about things that we think are real. 

Fear has no place in my children. I am your assurance. I am your way maker. 

A fear is a weapon meant to harm you. A fear will try to make you do things and say things that bring harm to you. The fear itself, cannot harm you. The fear itself has no power. It is like a wispy cloud in the wind. One small breeze and it is blown away as if it never existed. 

I will blow away your fears. I will take care of you, now and forever. I will not let the weapons formed against you prosper. My promises to you are final and assured. I love you.

The choice...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I am not sure what to talk about with you tonight. 

Life is very good. I love this new place of trust and peace with you. I love this place you have given us to live. I love our time together. I love that every problem, every issue, every challenge that comes up in life, you have a beautiful and final answer already worked out and that it is never what I think it is going to be. 

This is an exciting and wonderful season God. I will do all that I can to enjoy every moment of it while it is here!

What God Said Tonight:

I am here and I will never leave you. I will never keep my presence from you. 

The only one who can keep me from you is you. Satan does not have that authority. It is you and only you that has that power. 

I have made my commitment to you. I have given my son, my life for you. I am all in. You are the one with the choice. It is a choice you make with every word and every thought. 

I have chosen you and will choose you every time. Will you choose me?

Now...

My prayer:

Another day another HUGE PRAISE! Thank you Jesus for the GOOD REPORT today! I had real peace about it long before the call came in but when it came and they said it is 100% benign...that was GOOD NEWS!

Thank you God for your divine health and healing. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for all that you do in my life. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have good plans for you. I truly do. I have not brought you this far to leave you. You have a future and a hope. 

These are all promises that you know like the back of your hand but know this tonight, they are true and they are real and they are manifesting in your life, now. 

I love you. I love to bless you. Your season of waiting and trust was not for no reason. I am yours forever my child and I will never let leave you.

A beacon and a flag...

My prayer:

Awesome God, what a year of blessings this has been so far! Your goodness is so abundant. Your blessings are so apparent! Last year was a year of near misses but this year has been a year of fulfilled promises and turning it all around. Living in your blessing, in  your peace, and in your joy is a pretty amazing place to be. Thank you for being so amazing!

What God Said Tonight:

No blessing, no struggle, no triumph, and no defeat are ever experienced without a purpose. I will use all things for your good. I will turn every situation around for your good. I will make every moment a moment of purpose and planned strategy. 

I will never let you suffer or experience great joy without a greater purpose in it. 

Your pain is your testimony about to be revealed. Your joy is your garment that you wear for the world to see. 

I will bless you all of the days of your life and your blessing will be seen by the world. It will be a beacon to those who have yet to know me. It will be a flag marking the life of a child of God. 

I love you and my blessings will go with you all of the days of your life.

Every moment...

My prayer:

Awesome God! Thank you for all that you have done in the last 24 hours! You are incredible. You take care of everything and you make it all just perfect. You are so GOOD! I am so grateful to be your kid!

What God Said Tonight:

Every moment is an opportunity to recognize what is right in your life or what is wrong in your life. Every moment has elements of both and it truly is up to you which you decide to spend your time focusing on. 

A life that celebrates all of the blessings in it is a life well lived. A life spent worrying about all of the things not yet realized, is a life wasted. 

Do not waste your life. Live the life that you are in and count each blessing. Savor it. Turn it over and look at it from every angle. Every moment yo spend looking at your blessings is one more moment that you do not get mired in worry.
