Practice grace...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for today. Thank you for your reminders that you are in charge of my life. 

There is so much to fear and worry about, it can be so overwhelming and it just seems to build more and more every day. But everytime it seems like it is too much, you take me aside, remind me who I am and who you are and your peace fills me. 

Now, maybe more than any other time in my life, I am SO GRATEFUL to be your child. Thank you for saving me and redeeming me God. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for everything.

What God Said Tonight:

Now is not the time to be too focused on right and wrong. You are going to get a lot of things wrong in this season. You will not be able to help it. 

This is a season to practice grace. Practice grace with others and practice grace with yourself. As my child, as a reflection of me, that is what I ask of you in this season. 

When you see someone making a wrong choice or acting poorly, now is not the time to point a finger and judge. Now is the time to give them grace. To turn the other cheek. To forgive, again and again. Now is the time to recognize that your own thoughts and actions, while purely motivated, may be entirely incorrect and, your response needs to be to treat yourself with that same grace and forgiveness. 

I have redeemed the world. I have sacrificed for just a time as this. Your focus and full commitment in this time needs to be to grace. I love you sweet child. Rest well tonight.

Purpose and calling...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for today awesome God. You just peppered the day with beautiful little blessings. It made it much easier to get through the hassles that today brought. 

Thank you also for all that you are teaching me right now. I believe I will be a better person on the other side of this. Not perfect, but better. 

I love you God. Thank you for caring enough about me to teach me, to change me.

What God Said Tonight:

I have spoken to your heart. I have molded you like clay. I have refined you like gold. 

Would I spend this much time on you if I did not have a purpose on your life? Every child of mine has a purpose and a calling and yours is not over, it is barely begun. 

I love you and trust me, tomorrow will bring brand new things to your life. Let each of them be a celebration because they are my will for your life. Welcome them, every one of then. They will lead you to the next season where life and joy have no measure.

My prayer:

I pray for your protection tonight God. Place your hedge of protection around us. Keep your guardian angels on guard. Keep us safe, protection, and whole. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

You need not live in fear, of anything. I am God almighty and I am your Father. 

I will guide you and protect you. I will lead you away from danger and I will fight to see you protected. I am your hedge of protection. I am your God. Nothing that threatens you shall get near enough to harm you. Nothing that is against you will prosper. 

I love you and I will keep you safe. 

No mountain...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for perspective tonight God. I love you and I am grateful for all that you have done for me. I pray for your careful protection for all of your children.

What God Said Tonight:

No mountain high enough to keep me from you my child. I love you now and forever. 

Clean slate...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for bringing me through this day God. I was not super proud of how I handled it. I could have been kinder, more patient, more filled with your peace. I wasn't. 

I pray that the fruits of your Spirit grow in me so I am a better reflection of you.

What God Said Tonight:

A day, a week, a year, even a lifetime is nothing more than a fleeting dust cloud in the wind. 

Eternity is where you live my daughter. Eternity is the yardstick of your life. 

Today is past and tomorrow will soon be gone. Let me erase the shortfall of yesterday and today and start each day, each minute with a clean slate. It is one of he benefits you have as a child of mine. 

I love you. You will have good days and bad days. But I will love you in them all. Shake it off.

Running water...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I think you may have told me to do something today that would be very hard to do. I appreciate that you also said it is not time yet to do it. 

I pray and ask God that you guide me and help me to do what you have asked me to do. I want your will to be done, I want to do your will but to be very honest, I fear the ridicule if I do this thing. Prepare me and the situation if this is your will God. Let me know when it is the right time and help me to say what needs to be said in the right way to accomplish your purpose.

What God Said Tonight:

Not every task for my Kingdom has to be a big and planned out event. I have a plan in this and when it is time, it will be so natural that you will do it and not even realize you have done it. 

I have a purpose and plan on your life and I only tell you of this thing ahead of time so that when it is done and you are second guessing what you have done, you can look back to this moment and realize you were only carrying out my will. I have a message that needs to be said and you are the one to say it, when it is time. But don't stress about it. It will flow like running water from your spirit when the time is right. 

Hide...

 

My prayer:

Here at the end of this day, I am grateful to be safe and well and in your presence. You are my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

I have lifted you above and I have hid you away in this time. My children, hide in my arms. Hide in the palm of my hand. Gather to me and I will see you safe and well. 

I love you. You and your life, your needs, they are of the greatest importance to me. When it is rough, reach out to me. Don't wait until it gets "bad enough" Bring it to me so we can deal with it as a puppy and not a full grown dog. I love you.
