Rooted in love...

My prayer:

Amazing God. I pray that I made the best choices today. I thank you for your will in my life and I ask, whenever possible, that you let me in on what that will is, because I would love to help and at a minimum, I don't want to be an obstacle.

Living out your will in this life is really all that matters. When this is all done, that is all I really need to know that I have done. Help me to do it well.

What God Said Tonight:

My will is always rooted in love. There are many things that grow from that root of love. The branches reach out into the heavens. But the root is always love.

If you cannot trace back the root of what you are doing, or not doing, to love, than you are likely not in my will for your life. I simply will not do anything that is not rooted in love.

I love you and I will help you, always. You are my child and I will never leave you. I never intended you to live this life alone. I am forever here with you to help.

Receive...

My prayer:

We are sliding into my favorite holiday God. A whole day set aside to be thankful. If I have not said it enough, I am thankful for you. More than anything or anyone else, I am thankful for you in my life God.

I am thankful for all that you have given me. Loving family, amazing friends, a warm home, love, and so much more. I am thankful for the peace that you give me. I am thankful for the guidance you give me. You are a generous God and I am thankful.

I love you sweet Father, loving brother Jesus, amazing Holy Spirit.

What God Said Tonight:

Receive my love as a warm hug that never ends. Receive my peace as a blanket that calms. Receive my joy as a celebration of light. 

You are my child and it is my great and divine pleasure to give to you. Receive all that I have for you. 

All of heaven rejoices in the joy of my children. I love you now and forever my child.

Beyond the horizon...

My prayer:

This is such an unusual time in my life God. More than ever before, I don't know what is coming or what to expect. 

I started to say that planning is a waste because nothing comes about as I expect; but, even as the words were forming, I knew that wasn't true. The planning has not been a waste. I have learned a lot in the planning. Even though I may not be using that knowledge when I thought I would, it is still knowledge and knowledge is good.

I will continue to follow each path you show me, planning for what might be, and trusting that what should be is what will happen. I ask your guidance, your protection, and your guidance. 

Awesome God, I am yours.

What God Said Tonight:

The eyes see but they only see so far. The mind thinks but it only thinks to its limits. 

I am the limitless God who can see and think beyond your comprehension. I have a future planned for you, for the world, that you can't actually conceive of yet. It is so beyond your reality that it is hard to wrap your mind around it. 

What you can do is know that I am God and trust that I am taking you there. You can know that my plans for you are good. I do not waste time. I do not waste anything in your life. 

A future that is beyond the limits of the horizon and is rooted in your heart. I love you and I will take you there.

Take a walk with God...

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for this day. I am grateful for the joy and the hope that filled today. I am grateful for your presence in my life, always.

This has been a rough year with a lot of starts and stops but it seems like things might finally be moving forward. Thank you for forward movement God. 

What God Said Tonight:

Each step is worthwhile even when it is small.

Walk awhile with me. You will see that I do not run, I do not hurry. There is time for everything when you walk with me. I take my time and enjoy the walk.

A walk with me is filled with many experiences. A walk with me is not one that will end at a destination. A walk with me is forever.

I love you. Let's take this walk.

Which road...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for bringing me through another day with its joys and challenges. 

My prayer does not change. I pray your will is done in every aspect of my life. In my job, in my home life, in my family, in my friends, in my pets, in my spirit, everything God. If I am not in alignment with your will, there really is no point. 

I don't always understand your will. I don't always know what you will do, especially this year. But I always want your will to be done.

What God Said Tonight:

A road that is heavily traveled is easy to see. It may be pounded flat and it may be full of pot holes but you never mistake where it is and where it leads. 

A road that has fewer travelers is harder to find sometimes but the journey is smoother. That road is meant for the soft footsteps of a journeyer who is more interested in the journey itself and less concerned about the destination. 

I will often take you down the less traveled road. It is a road where you can stand out and shine in my glory. It is a road where you can appreciate each moment. It is a road that leads to a destination but that is not the real point of this road. 

Enjoy the journey my child.

God's intentions...

My prayer:

Thank you God for the blessing of these few days. Thank you for hearing my prayers. Thank you for your love. 

What God Said Tonight:

A respite. An oasis. A place of peace in the storm. I know you are grateful for it but I intend for much more in your life. 

I intend a life of purpose and living in my glory. I intend a life of joy. I intend a life of great peace that cannot be moved by circumstances. My intentions for you are good. 

I love you my child and I will see you stand in fields of great harvest. I will see you succeed.

Farming, not just for food...

Wow God! Just, WOW! What a difference in just a couple of days!

Thank you for all of the new opportunities today. I am not sure where we are headed but I am grateful to see so many roads of possibilities! I pray your guidance and your help. Keep doors open that need to be open and close those that should be closed.

What God Said Tonight:

Seeds are breaking through the ground and growing into stalks. Farming is not just for those who grow food. 

Your life has been anchored by giving and sowing. You are right to expect a harvest. 

The season of hibernation is ending and your season to harvest is near.
