God's will...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father, I think you may be showing me a path forward, a way through this mess. I pray that if it is your will that you open every door and guide us through every step. I pray if it is not your will that you close it down and make it plain. 

For right now, I am grateful for the hope for a different path forward. I am grateful for something to be passionate about that could make a difference. 

I am yours God. Show me your will.

What God Said Tonight:

There is no obstacle that can withstand my will to overcome it. I am the God of all and I will see my will accomplished. 

You, my child, are a part of that will. Your trust and your faith has made a way for you. Your salvation was the key that opened the door and your faith is the engine that propels you forward on your path. 

I will guide you. I will lead you. I will see you in your fulfillment, your completeness. 

I love you and great things are on their way. Great things are in the works. I am yours and you are mine forever.

What a wonderful day God. Thank you for the fun, the work, the beauty, the rest, and the laughter. Thank you for the break from the struggle and the worry. You are amazing and I love that I get to live this life with you.

What God Said Tonight:

Leaving the past behind and the future ahead is a good way to live your life. This moment is what you have. 

I am in all times at all times but you get this moment. Enjoy it. Let this moment be enough. 

The past is gone and I am taking care of tomorrow so live this moment and soak up every blessing I have in it for you.

Worry into daydreams...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am doing my best to follow your instructions. It is harder than it should be. You have blessed me so abundantly, it should be really easy to focus on that and leave the worries up to you. It should be, but it isn't.

I want to. I make every effort and then one idle moment and I am right back running different scenarios through my head. Even just now, talking about it and my mind starts racing.

It looks like I am going to need some more help God. Thank you for the frequent reminders today to stop and focus on you. That was really helpful. I can use all the help I can get with this one.

What God Said Tonight:

Stay right here with me. 

When your mind begins to race, when your thoughts go down that path, switch the story. Start to remember all I have done for you and start to imagine all I will do for you. Imagine all of the wonderful options we have for your future. 

I will bless you. That is a promise. So, if you find yourself worrying, turn it into a daydream. Turn it into and excuse to dream of all that I could do for you. 

It will help, I promise. I love you now and forever my child.

God's job...

 

My prayer:

Today was rough God. Thank you for giving me your peace throughout it all. A year ago, if I had a day like this, I would have lost it and probably said and done some things that I was not proud of.

I pray for guidance and direction through this latest challenge. You are my guide and my teacher and I am very grateful.

What God Said Tonight:

I have you sheltered in my hand. I have you protected and blessed. 

Spend more time looking at and seeing the blessings I have showered you with and less time at the latest attack. I will take care of the attacks. I promise. I will not see you destroyed by the enemy. You really can focus on the blessings right now. I will take care of everything else. 

We have come to a point in time, a point in our relationship where your job is to rest and trust. My job is everything else.

My prayer:

What a great day God. Thank you for the luxury of resting, worshiping, and playing. You are such a good God and you are so good to me. I pray for your guidance and help as we step into another week. Who knows what this week will bring. I only know that you will help me through whatever comes. 

What God Said Tonight:

A week, a day, a month, a year. No matter the time frame, no matter the circumstances, I am forever on your side. 

Your confidence is strong in me. The world may be as unstable as a boat deck in a hurricane but you are mine and I will not let you be swamped. I will not let you drown. 

I reassure you so often because I know how hard it can be when all you hear is the reasons to fear. I will continue to tell you and show you all of the reasons you can hope. All of the reasons you can count on me. All o the reasons you can know that there is a great and mighty future for you.

Fire...

 

My prayer:

I am so excited to see what you are doing in our lives God! You are asking us to trust you in some crazy ways but you are blessing us in even crazier ways! 

Thank you for being so amazing and thank you for letting me get to witness your greatness!

What God Said Tonight:

Not every fire is sent to destroy. Some fires are meant to clean out the old and make way for the new. My Holy Spirit fire is moving across the world. 

There will be more to see and more to be a part of. A time is coming when all old things will fall away and all things will be made new. 

I love you and your blessings have just begun.

Unique path...

 

My prayer:

Day by day. That is where I am at right now God. Just taking each step, day by day, and trusting that you are taking care of the destination. I cannot imagine trying to get through this season without you. I am very grateful that I don't have to. 

Thank you for your blessing, salvation, peace and healing God.

What God Said Tonight:

No man, woman, or child has ever walked in the shoes you are walking right now. Your path is unique. I have a separate path for each of my children and it is as unique to them as their fingerprints are. 

To follow your path, you must trust in me for guidance. I am the only one who knows where the path goes and where it ends up. I will be your trail guide and I will never leave you behind. You are my treasured child. 

The worries of today will honestly mean so little in the future glory. I know it seems very intense and overwhelming right now but like so many troubled seasons, when you are through it, it will seem like dust blowing away in the wind.

Being shaken...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I don't have any new prayers. I trust you and ask nothing more and nothing less than your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

What God Said Tonight:

See me. See me in the grace that surrounds you. See me in the beauty. See me in truth that remains the bedrock. 

Everything else will be shaken down. But what will be left are me and my people. The time has come for the great harvest and the culling of the fields. I will leave no one behind but it is time to pack everyone up for the next season.

FInding hope...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for your protection, for keeping us safe. My prayers tonight are for all of the people, animals, and land that are in danger or burning in fires in Colorado. SO much destruction God. I pray for your help, your protection, and your healing for them all.

What God Said Tonight:

What you see, what you hear, there is little to give you hope in these things. What you are and what you know, there is where you find the hope. 

You are a child of the Most High God. You are set aside and sanctified for a purpose. You are the apple of my eye. 

I am here and I hear your prayers. I am watching over the people of God. I am finding ways to bless people in the middle of the tragedy. I am doing all the things I do because of who I am. 

Do not fear the things you see and the things you hear. I have not given you that spirit. Stand strong and know that I am God. I will not let my people perish. You are mine and I am yours forever my child. 

God's love power...

 

My prayer:

I use to think I had a pretty good handle on what was true and what wasn't. I used to think that right and wrong were clearly two different things. But anymore, in this world we are living in, all I know is that you God are true and good. Everything else is suspect. 

Lead and guide me God. I have to rely on your wisdom.

What God Said Tonight:

Well, that isn't really a bad thing. If these times and these troubles cause you to trust only in me, that is a pretty good place to be. 

I love you and I won't let you down. You are set aside and protected. I will show these glimpses, just so you are clear on what is going on but they will not harm you. You are mine and I am yours, now and forever my child. 

Never forget that my love out powers everything else.

Awesome God, I am trusting you in your promises and who you are. You have blessed me beyond my wildest dreams. You have walked me through every battle. You have healed every hurt. How can I not trust you?

Thank you God for helping me through this next struggle. Thank you for hearing my prayers of help.

You are amazing and I am grateful that you are my God.

What God Said Tonight:

Every battle is truly nothing more than an opportunity for people to see my glory. 

I have you covered and I will see you through. My plans for you are better than what you can imagine for yourself. I have shown you and I will show you again, the future is better than you are imagining.

Waves...

Awesome God. You really did take care of everything like it is was no problem at all just as you said you would! Thank you so much! I couldn't have done it without you.

I am so grateful to be yours.

What God Said Tonight:

Waves. Your life is being lived in waves right now but as you learn to ride the wave, as you learn to trust me to keep you on top of the wave, everything becomes much easier. 

When you stand on the shore and take the waves straight on, they will wear you down and eventually knock you down. 

You are not to stand on the shore and let the waves beat you down. Your place is with me, riding the waves and using those same waves to propel you forward.

My prayer:

I pray for your help tonight God. You always tell me when I need help, just ask for it. I am asking. There is more than I can do, more than I can handle on my own. It is only with you stepping in that I make it through this successfully.

Thank you God for destining me to succeed and for being my ever present help. You are amazing.

What God Said Tonight:

A great day. A day that gives you more than you can handle and you don't panic, you don't drive yourself into the ground. You step back and you ask for help. You have come a long way my child. 

I am your ever present help and I will destine you to succeed. I love you and I will walk you through this. 

It is not what it seems. It seems big and overwhelming but it is not. It is nothing more than a bump that you will quickly run over. 

I love you, I am with you. You can rest in the peace that I am yours and you are mine.

My prayer:

Thank you God for the opportunity to be an encouragement to a friend today. I love how you always take me through the exact thing that I need to be able to help others around me. Nothing is wasted with you. 

God, I ask that you show me how to have more grace toward others. I find myself being frustrated and angry because others can't see what is so plain to me and that frustration and anger makes things worse, not better. How can I get angry about people getting angry? I don't know, but I find a way. 

I pray for your grace to live in me God. Help me to see people as you see them. Help me to love them like you love them.

What God Said Tonight:

A marble in a sand pile is obvious. A marble in a pile of marbles is hard to single out. I have made you different for a purpose and you stand out. 

I have shown you things that make many other things seem obvious. That is not something that everyone has seen. I have shown you so you can help, not judge. I have shown you so you can support and love, not find fault and get angry. 

Remember the gifts I give you are for a purpose. One purpose is my love for you but there is always a second purpose and that second purpose is not directly for you. 

Remember who you are. You are my child. Remember why you are here. You are here to spread my love and my word. Remember that you will one day soon be with me in heaven and every trial and struggle will seem like nothing in the constant presence of my glory.

I am with you...

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for your guidance today. Thank you for the amazing worship and the great message. I have been thinking about that message all day and that aspect of what am I afraid of. 

I guess at this point in my life, I am afraid of losing this amazing you life you have given me. I am not afraid of dying but you have blessed me so much with this home in this place with amazing family. I am afraid that something will happen to ruin it. I am afraid of living outside of your will and the consequences that can bring. Those are the two biggies. 

Those fears, now revealed, I give to you God. I pray for your peace in my life.

What God Said Tonight:

Fear that stops you, that paralyzes you is a fear that should be vanquished. Fear that motivates you is a fear that should be understood. 

I am with you, now and always. Your life, will change, but I will be with you when it does. Your choices may not always be what I would choose for you but I will be with you in it. 

The part of the message I needed you most to hear today is that in every situation, I am good and I am with you. In the glory and in the struggle. I am with you and we can rejoice in that.
