My prayer:

Thank you for another wonderful day God. Your blessings and your love are amazing. I know I say it a lot but it is always true. I pray for your healing power in me tonight God. You know the struggles and I pray for your help and healing. 

I know that every blessing and every good thing is because of you Lord. I know that this incredible life I get to live is only because of you. All glory to you God. I love you Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

I remember this day. It was a day of joy and celebration for most. But for some it was a day of sadness and grief. Each day has its own blessings and struggles. I am with  you in all of them. 

I am bring in the blessings and I help you through the struggles. I am laughing with you in your joy and I am cradling you in your tears. 

Circumstances do not determine my presence in your life. Only you can determine that. Only you can choose for me to be in your life with you or watching your life from the outside. 

I love you know and forever my child. 

Oasis to oasis...

My prayer:

Thank you for getting me through this week God. I couldn't have done it without you. It seems like I am saying that a lot these days, but it is true. I don't know how anyone makes it in this world today without you. I wouldn't want to even try.

Thank you for being my strength, my guide, and my salvation. I love you with all that I am.

What God Said Tonight:

You live from oasis to oasis, blessing to blessing, in a desert world. I will always guide you to the next blessing. I have them laid out strategically for you on your path in life. 

I love blessing you. I have knitted in you a tapestry of blessing so that your natural response is to bless those around you. You reflect my blessing and it shines on those around you. They may have never known me, but they see me through your blessing and they get to choose a life with me. 

I don't need big productions in your life but I do need you to reflect my blessing. It makes a difference and it brings people to me that might otherwise be lost. That is what matters. 

I love you now and forever my child.

Right now...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for the rest and healing today. You are so good to me. All I want right now is to hear your voice and know what is on your mind.

What God Said Tonight:

This season, right now is less about the goal and more about the present. Being present and being with me. 

It is a challenge I know but let me worry about tomorrow. Let me plan our future. You, rest in and enjoy right now. 

Do not rush today. Let each moment unfold in the fullness of my plan. Do not dwell on yesterday. It is past and not needed for today. 

Part of the lessons from this last week is to remember that we are not promised tomorrow. In truth, you do not know what tomorrow brings. In these times more than ever, trust me for your tomorrow.

Awesome God. I am still king of processing this week. If possible, I would love to know what this trip was all about some day. It was pretty crazy, but I was able to stay focused on you and find the blessings. There were so many. 

Thank you for bringing me through it, bringing me home, and showing me the little lights of blessings throughout. 

I pray for rest and recovery. I love you my God.

What God Said Tonight:

Welcome home my child. There was blessings in the trip but the purpose and the true blessings are yet to be seen and experienced. I have a plan in this and all things and my plans for you are good. It will be a time that you point back to often to say, it all started with that crazy trip to San Antonio...

My prayer:

Amazing God, I pray for your help and direction on this upcoming trip. Thank you for the opportunity. I pray that your peace go with me, rest in me, emanate from me, and return with me. I pray that I am the representative of you and your love that you have called me to be. Help me to see the opportunities to love well on this trip. Help me to hear your voice and your leading. 

I pray above all things that your will be done. 

I pray this in the name of Jesus who died for me that I can have the privilege to talk to and hear from Almighty God.

What God Said Tonight:

The flight is not important but the journey is. I am with you now and always my child. We will see this journey through together. 

When things get confusing, look to me. When things are going well, look to me. Keep your mind and your heart on me and I will take care of everything else. 

Be alert. There are blessings hiding in this trip, for you and for others. Seek them out. Find them. I will be with you even in the search.

My prayer:

Another tough few days God but you keep just bringing me through each and every one. When I don't see a path forward and can't imagine a situation turning out well, I pray, you show up, and it all turns around. YOU ARE A MIRACLE WORKING GOD AND I AM SO THANKFUL!!!!

It still wears me out though. I feel as though I have been run over and then beat down with a baseball bat. I haven't, that you God, but it feels like that. 

I pray tonight God for restoration. Fill me back up so I can pour it out tomorrow. I have nothing left but I know you always have more. I am yours, now and forever God.

What God Said Tonight:

Sometimes it is not the circumstance itself that wears you out but the frequency of the challenges that can wear you down. You have been on the firing lines and it has been pretty relentless. But, you keep coming to me and I will keep helping. I will keep working it out and I will keep refilling and restoring you.

This season is important in itself. You are coming back to love in each situation and that is exactly what I have asked you to do. However, this season is also important for preparing you for the next season. There will be even bigger challenges to love in this next season. 

Once you can walk through these circumstances, trusting me, and loving those around you...then we can walk into the next season. But this has to be solid. This love that I am asking of you, this love for those around you, has to be solid and unbreakable. It has to be natural and not an effort. For us to go into your next season, that has to happen first. 

I prepare you for your sake and for the sake of those you will minister to. If you walk in unprepared to the next season, it could rip you apart. If you walk into your next season unprepared, you could do a lot of damage to those I am calling you to serve. 

So, keep the course. Keep turning to me. Keep building your faith. And above all, keep loving. 

I am yours now and forever my child. Rest in my love and my purpose for your life.

Love like you breathe...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for the opportunity to be faithful today to what you have given me to do. 

I sometimes wonder if there is more, if I am missing what you have for me. We definitely have had seasons where you have provided more opportunities to minister and love your people. But I think I have heard your voice and I am working the field you have given me. 

If I have it wrong, if I am missing anything that you would have for me to do, please let me know. If you have already let me know, can you tell me again? I missed it.

I love you now and forever Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

You are hearing my voice already. There is no "more" opportunities. You have the opportunity to love in your every action and word and thought. You have the opportunity to love with every person you meet or talk to. How much more opportunity could there be? 

I know what you are saying though. In the past, in your past, we have had more formal and organized opportunities to reach out to those who needed that love. I loved those times too. However, there comes a time where my command to love needs to not just be something you do when there is a sign up sheet and formal training; but, something you do as easy and frequently as you breathe. 

I have trained you in many venues to love, no matter what. Now is the time to take that training to absolutely every corner of your life. Leave no opportunity on the table. Love, show my love, that is what I have for you in this season.
