Stress tentacles...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I did not handle today very well. I let the chaos and stress get into my mind. I forgot who is in charge and just now, coming to you, I realize I did not once today ask for your help. How is that possible? I know, absolutely, without a doubt that you help when we ask...and yet I never asked. 

I am sorry God. I know better but today, I didn't do better. I will try to remember better tomorrow.

What God Said Tonight:

The world got its tentacles around you today but it cannot hold you. Your main issue today is you convinced yourself that you could do it, you could handle it, if you just tried a little harder. The truth is, you can handle it but not by trying harder but by trusting me more. Lean on me, turn to me, cry out to me, and I will always come. 

When the stress rolls back in, trying to take your peace. Remember this moment and lean back on me. Let me take the burden and let me show you the way through. 

I love you and you were not meant to fight these battles on your own.

Remove the stone...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful, and restful day. I know that not everyone had that privilege today. I am grateful that I did.

There is so many truly horrible things happening right now God and then there are so many truly wonderful things happening in the midst of the horrible. That is the thing. We live in this world where horrible things happen but we live in it with you, the source of all good things. 

Thank you for giving us good, beautiful, and wonderful things in the middle of the mess in this world.

What God Said Tonight:

A wall may seem like an impenetrable barrier but a wall is only made of individual stones. Remove just one stone and the whole can tumble. 

I see that there is a barrier in front of you but it is not as intimidating as you might think. It is actually quite fragile and if we just remove that one brick, that one stone, the whole thing will tumble and you will see what I have waiting for you.

I love you and I will remove that stone.

My prayer:

Thank you God for your peace in the middle of chaos today. There was no way of getting through this day without your peace. Thank you for protecting and making a way out for my friend. 

My prayers turn to the chaos on a global level tonight God. I pray your protection and peace over eastern Europe and Russia. I pray that the world see your glory. Above all, I pray your will is done.

You are the God of answered prayers whether it be getting me through a hard day or getting our world through a hard day. You, God, are the answer.

What God Said Tonight:

That which is written cannot be changed but your experience of  it can be. 

I am your redeemer and protector. Stay with me, cling to me and I will walk you through every conflict with peace and uninjured. Come, grab a hold of me and I will put my arm around you as we walk through this next danger.

My prayer:

Thank you God for answered prayer! Even the "small" things, you listen and you take care of them! 

Thank you for bringing my friends dog home tonight. It looked hopeless but as soon as we asked for your help, you brought her home. You are so loving, so kind, and everything in our lives actually matters to you. 

Thank you for your help and thank you for the reminder that there is not prayer too big or too small.

What God Said Tonight:

I bring you peace. Now and forever. I give you my love, now and forever. 

I will guide each step and help you through each and every challenge and road block in this life. We have one goal, eternity together. Until then, I will bring you all that you need when you need it. I will find those things that are lost and I will restore those things that were taken. 

I am your redeemer. I am your Father. I am your friend. What matters to you, matters to me. 

I love you sweet daughter, now and forever.

My prayer:

I gave it my all God. Now I need a rest. I need the rest, peace and rejuvenation that only comes with you. God fill every part of me and make me new again. 

What God Said Tonight:

Lean back and rest. I have got you.

A part of the mountain...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for making me successful in the middle of impossible situations again. This is a bit of an impossible week but you continue to bring me each thing as I need it, show me each thing to do next, and it all works out amazingly.

None of this week could have been possible without you. You protect me and you make me succeed which is pretty amazing. Thank you again.

What God Said Tonight:

A rock, on its own is not a lot. It might get used with other rocks to make a wall or a path or even a building. But a rock that is still a part of the mountain is immovable and strong. It can withstand almost anything. Not because the rock itself is strong but because it is a part of the mountain. 

You are a part of me and therefore, you cannot be moved and you will not be taken down. 

I love you sweet daughter, now and forever.

Impossible means...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Today was a hard one but as always, you brought me through and made the impossible, possible. I am always so amazed when you do that, even as I am expecting it. But when it is all said and done, I get to sit back in awe at what you have done.

Thank you for being amazing and for taking such good care of me. You are such a good Father!

What God Said Tonight:

Look around and you will see and know not only how much I love you but also how much it matters to me that you have a life filled with joy and with peace. Take time, in the middle of the impossible moments to remind yourself of that. 

Remind yourself of every time I have brought you through. That is when impossible becomes just another word. A word that means God, your God, will take care of it. 

I love you now and forever my child I will never let you down.
