Live on...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I believe you are about to receive a really amazing man in heaven. You know him better than I do. You know his heart. You know his generosity. You know his love. He is going to fit in heaven so easily. 

He is going to leave a lot of us behind here on earth and life will be harder without him. I pray for your comfort and healing for all of us. I pray for his family that you bring them peace and wholeness. I pray for all of the people he has helped and touched in his lifetime, there are so many. Help all of us God to live life with the legacy he left behind. Never forgetting him but living our lives through the amazing influence he had on each of us.

Let the angels sing when he gets there. He loves music.

What God Said Tonight:

My heaven is not full. My heaven is a temporary holding place while we wait for the new heaven and the new earth. 

I will care for your friend. You know I love him but I promise you, I will care for him. I will heal his family. 

A life well lived is missed when they are gone but in truth, they are never fully gone from the earth. They live on in the people whose lives they touched. He will live on in you. 

Don't waste it...

 

My prayer:

Today was definitely a day where I just put one foot in front of the other and moved ahead. I have no idea where we are headed God but I know you have a plan. Keep guiding my steps. 

What God Said Tonight:

Every action and reaction are pieces to the puzzle. 

A life well lived is  one in which you grab the opportunities and blessings I bring but also one where you face the challenges and see both successes and failures. Life is an experience you will carry through eternity. It is a special and precious time that you may not fully appreciate until you are in eternity with me. 

There is a precious joy to the experiences of a finite life. And while you have an eternity with me, there will be a day when you leave this world and this life. Don't waste a minute of your life here on earth . I tell you each moment is precious.

Overwhelming...

 

My prayer:

Facing a new week and a new opportunity to trust you. I am not sure what you have planned but I know that it is good. I pray for the patience to wait for your plan to unfold. I want things to move forward, to change so much that I am worried I might try to force it. 

The good news is, I know from experience that if I do try to force it, it will just fail and leave room for you to do what you planned in the first place. 

That is truly all I want God, your will to be done in my life.

What God Said Tonight:

I have plans and plans within plans. There is such intricacy and detail that I cannot begin to explain it but I promise, it is for your good. I promise that your plan is a vital part within the larger plan. I promise I have not forgotten you. 

The things that seem so large and overwhelming today will not take up so much space tomorrow. 

I am yours and you are mine, now and forever my child, my love.

Follow peace...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I pray for your guidance and most of all, your will in my life. Was today an open door, or the beginning of one? Or was it just a distraction? 

Lead me down the path you want me to be on. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

Peace. Follow peace. Where you find peace, you will find my will. 

I have made a way clear and it will give you great peace. Walk in that peace and you will find yourself in the destiny I have for you in this next season.

Practice grace...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for today. Thank you for your reminders that you are in charge of my life. 

There is so much to fear and worry about, it can be so overwhelming and it just seems to build more and more every day. But everytime it seems like it is too much, you take me aside, remind me who I am and who you are and your peace fills me. 

Now, maybe more than any other time in my life, I am SO GRATEFUL to be your child. Thank you for saving me and redeeming me God. Thank you for taking care of me. Thank you for everything.

What God Said Tonight:

Now is not the time to be too focused on right and wrong. You are going to get a lot of things wrong in this season. You will not be able to help it. 

This is a season to practice grace. Practice grace with others and practice grace with yourself. As my child, as a reflection of me, that is what I ask of you in this season. 

When you see someone making a wrong choice or acting poorly, now is not the time to point a finger and judge. Now is the time to give them grace. To turn the other cheek. To forgive, again and again. Now is the time to recognize that your own thoughts and actions, while purely motivated, may be entirely incorrect and, your response needs to be to treat yourself with that same grace and forgiveness. 

I have redeemed the world. I have sacrificed for just a time as this. Your focus and full commitment in this time needs to be to grace. I love you sweet child. Rest well tonight.

Purpose and calling...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for today awesome God. You just peppered the day with beautiful little blessings. It made it much easier to get through the hassles that today brought. 

Thank you also for all that you are teaching me right now. I believe I will be a better person on the other side of this. Not perfect, but better. 

I love you God. Thank you for caring enough about me to teach me, to change me.

What God Said Tonight:

I have spoken to your heart. I have molded you like clay. I have refined you like gold. 

Would I spend this much time on you if I did not have a purpose on your life? Every child of mine has a purpose and a calling and yours is not over, it is barely begun. 

I love you and trust me, tomorrow will bring brand new things to your life. Let each of them be a celebration because they are my will for your life. Welcome them, every one of then. They will lead you to the next season where life and joy have no measure.

I pray for your protection tonight God. Place your hedge of protection around us. Keep your guardian angels on guard. Keep us safe, protection, and whole. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

You need not live in fear, of anything. I am God almighty and I am your Father. 

I will guide you and protect you. I will lead you away from danger and I will fight to see you protected. I am your hedge of protection. I am your God. Nothing that threatens you shall get near enough to harm you. Nothing that is against you will prosper. 

I love you and I will keep you safe.
