Rest season...

My prayer:

Thank you God for this time off from work. I pray in these next several days that you help me remember what is important and what isn't. I pray for rest, recreation, and rejuvenation. More than anything, I pray that we do it all together. Everything is better with you in the middle of it. 

What God Said Tonight:

Rest is important. Time to refill and refuel is needed. I created you in that way, times for work, times for play, and times for rest. 

Your life is about seasons. Sometimes a season lasts for months or years and other times a season may last a day or a week. Even other times, a season may last an hour. 

In this season, find your rest, find your center, and let the world and its troubles be on my shoulders. Trust me with every worry and every concern. Take this time and enjoy. I love you and I want to see you in joy.

My prayer:

Thank you for a wonderful and peaceful day God. I don't really need anything tonight, I just want to be in your presence. I just want to hang out with you in the beauty and quiet that you have provide. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

Our time together is precious. It is abundant but that doesn't make it less precious. 

Our time, our love, can never be too much but it can never be enough either. I will always want to spend time with you. You never need to ask. 

Seek me and you will find me. That is because I am always right beside you, behind you, in front of you, waiting for you to look my direction. To seek me. I am not hard to find but you do have to look. 

I love you sweet daughter and lets spend some time enjoying that tonight. Let spend some time enjoying the love. 

SIlver lining...

My prayer:

Well, you were not kidding when you said their would be attacks on my peace! What a roller coaster these last couple of days have been. I pray for discernment and understanding God. I pray for wisdom and direction. I pray, above EVERYTHING else, your will is done.

Thank you for being my Father, my Protector, my Saviour, and my God.

What God Said Tonight:

Every day, every moment, every person is an opportunity to know me and my kingdom. Recognize the value in every experience that it can draw you closer to me. 

In joy, we celebrate together. In trouble, you lean on me and learn to trust me. I am always the silver lining in every situation. 

Do not dread the "bad" times. Do not worry about what is coming next. Know that every experience, I will turn for your good. You are my child and I will bring value out of every moment of your life. 

I love you. Now and forever my child.

Remember peace...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I am grateful for balance and peace. I am grateful that I have finally come to a place in my life where I understand that my worth is not from what I do or don't do but from my heritage in you. I am grateful for this sanctuary that you have given me that I have had the time and the space to finally realize this. 

Help me to hang on to it. Help me to teach it to others or at least model the benefits for them so they want to find this with you. 

We talked about it for so many years. You taught me so many times. But it has taken every year, every lesson, every moment to get me to this place.

Thank you.

I likely have more work to do. As wonderful as this is, I would bet that there are still areas where I need to forgive, to let go, to receive wholeness. But knowing that does not take away from the joy of this peace, right here tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you. I love you. I am yours, now and forever. 

Never forget this moment. Make a memorial, paint a picture, save this writing but do whatever you need to do so you remember this moment. 

There will be attacks on this peace. There will be those who will try to take it from you. It is not theirs to take but they will try. The enemy hates this peace. It is born in pure love and he hates that. 

When the attacks come, remember this moment. Remember this peace. Remember this confidence of who you are and how you got here.

God's promises in this season...

My prayer:

You are amazing Father! Thank you for giving me joy, peace, and guiding my life. Thank you for new friends and new directions. Thank you for giving me this new season. It looks to be a really awesome one.

What God Said Tonight:

A season you once worried would be too much for you and now it fits you like a glove. 

I promise you I will never lead you into anything that I have not prepared your for and never lead you into anything I will not lead you through. 

I promise you joy. I promise you peace. I promise you an eternity with me. I promise you challenges to help you grow. I promise you pain that will not last. I promise you I will never leave you. 

I love you my daughter, my child, my heart and I will walk with you always.

Make room for the new...

My prayer:

I started to list out all of the things I am praying for tonight and the list is too long. So, I pray your will is done in every decision, every situation, every person's life. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

You spent today clearing out the old to make room for the new. I am doing that in your life as well. 

Let's clear out old ideas, old prejudices, and let's make room for the new. 

I will provide, I will take care of you, now and forever my child. Trust me.

God's peace...

My prayer:

Today was pretty chaotic God. What a great reminder of all you are protecting me from right now. I am grateful to be back home. I am grateful to be in this Sanctuary you have given me. I am grateful that I am yours. 

I pray God for restored peace in me. I pray for your healing of any wounds from today. I pray for your presence to fill me.

What God Said Tonight:

Today was no different other than your physical location in it. I am with you always and everywhere. In the end, no harm done today. 

It will take time for you to learn to walk in my peace in every situation. You have learned to walk in it in many situations and will learn more. 

My peace covers you. My peace comforts you. My peace heals you. 

I have redeemed you in Christ that you may live in my peace and know that our relationship is firm and everlasting. I love you my daughter. Be restored and renewed in the night ahead.
