The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. And, here we are...I hope He speaks to you in these words.

Magnification...

My prayer:

Today was definitely eventful God. I pray and invite your peace to cover us. I pray and thank you for your divine health in us. I pray and worship you for being my God. I love you Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit.

What God Said Tonight:

Each day and each event has a purpose in your life.

Sometimes, I have to let an expansion of something into your life so that you recognize the need to come against it. It is the small subtle things that can often do the most damage.

So, when I see a damaging small thing enter into your life with the intent to harm you, I will sometimes, like today, show you that thing amplified around you, in someone else, or even directly in you so that you can see it for the threat it is.

There is nothing to fear. The threat is neutralized, in both he big and the small manifestations. You are free from it. Live on in peace.

Pivot point...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am so grateful. I remain in awe of you. Today was really wonderful. I am stunned by what you have done and how you bless us. You are Holy. You are generous. You are amazing. You are my God.

What God Said Tonight:

This is not over. This is not the end. This is but a turning point, a pivot point that will catapult you into the next season.

There is much to see and to do in the new season. It will be wondrous. A season of rest and joy now to fill you for the next season.

You are forgiven and you are mine. I love you.

Spiritual house cleaning...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for literally (and I really do mean that) EVERYTHING!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Cleaning house on a regular basis is a good habit. If you let things lie around, you stop seeing them and they tend to grow worse. This is true of your physical house but this is also true of your spiritual house.

Remember to routinely shake out the rugs and sweep out the cob webs on your spiritual life. When you don't it is harder to recognize when something has come to attack you. It is harder to see the mess in the mess.

Keep your self holy in my presence. Remember the salvation and redemption I have bought for you and take a minute to clear out anything that is not of me. Make it a habit, not a ritual but a habit.

I love you sweet child and I will keep you safe.

Truth revealed, or not...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I pray for discernment tonight. I pray for clarity in a world where everything is really unclear.

It is very hard to know what to believe these days. It is hard to know what is true and what is misdirection and lies. I pray for open eyes and ears and the discernment to know the truth.

You are the truth God. Please guide me in your truth.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you. First and foremost, know that truth.

A life of truth is not so easy to live. I have truth for you and the basics you already know. I am God, you are my child, I have saved you through grace.

No other truth really matters in the shadow of those facts. I will lead you and guide you as always. I will show you what you need to know when you need to know it. But full truth and full visibility to truth is not as wonderful as you might think.

There is a reason I told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge. It is not always to your benefit. But, the three basic truths of my love for you, who I am, and what I have done for you, those will never change. Every other truth that you need, I will bring to you when you need it. Trust me to reveal those things when they are needed and to cover them when they are not.

Impossible achieved, again...

My prayer:

Well, this was a rough week in some ways God but it sure turned out well.

You are the God of the impossible and I have to remember that when I am being asked to accomplish the impossible. Instead of stressing out, if I can just remember who you are and all of the many times you achieved the impossible in my life, maybe I can just see it as one more opportunity for you to show your stuff.

I love you God and thank you for showing me again that all things are possible with you.

What God Said Tonight:

I do not see things as possible or impossible. A world that I have created, in a universe I have created, in a people I have created, yes, all things are possible.

When you know everything, there is nothing too hard to accomplish.

I am your God and I will destine you to succeed. I will. For my will for your life is good and I will not let you fall.

Come to me with all things and I will help you.

Sweet life...

My prayer:

Counting my blessings tonight as I counted the stars. You are so very, very, good to me. I did not know that this kind of life was possible.

Not everything is easy or perfect, but there are perfect moments. There are moments of perfect peace and joy and there are a lot of them right now.

You are a truly awesome God and I am so ridiculously grateful to be called yours.

What God Said Tonight:

A day like any other day can be the sweetest day of all in my presence.

I will make your life sweet. I will make your days light. I will walk with you in the forest and guide you to the stream. I will plant you in fertile ground that will cause you to grow like never before.

I will do all of these things, not because you have earned them and not because they are your right but only because I love you.

Rest in the my love.

You are here...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Today had a lot more challenges than I may have wanted; but it ended in peace in this sanctuary you have given me so who am I to complain.

Thank you for every challenge that strengthens me and every peace that restores me. Thank you for the balance of both.

What God Said Tonight:

I have waited for a very long time to see the love in you grow to a point that it transcends your circumstances. I have waited to see you inhabit the peace I have offered you. I have waited patiently but waited in anticipation knowing that at this time, you would find greater joy and satisfaction than any other time that went before it.

I am bubbling over with joy that you have arrived at this time and place. What great adventures we will have. What great joy we will share. I am with you now and forever and we will soar to new heights in this season.

You are here!
