On the horizon...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for another amazing day God. Your blessing on my life is unbelievable. So much joy and peace and love. I loved every minute of it and I am 100% aware that every last bit of it comes from you. You are my everything God and I love you SO MUCH!!!

What God Said Tonight:

There is a haze on the horizon that makes it hard to see what is coming. There is a mist and a mask that is hiding the truth. But, I know the truth, I see the truth, and I will not let you be blindsided. I will make you prepared and I will keep you protected, no matter what tomorrow brings. 

Watch the horizon but know that I will not let you down. I love you know and forever my child.

God's steering...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for today God. A good mix of fun, new things, and challenges. I am pretty worn out from it all but need to hear your voice before ending the day. What is on your heart tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

The slice of this life, this world that you see is so very small and only one piece in the very large puzzle of reality. I see the whole picture. I see it all. It is with that knowledge that I can guide you into the best path forward and lead you away from those things that will hurt you. Even those things that seem pretty wonderful at the time. 

But trust me, when I lead you way from something, it is because I can see what you cannot and I can see the harm it will bring you. Trust my lead and I will never steer you wrong. 

I love you now and forever my child.

Not perfect...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for a perfect day God. Thank you for the beauty, the fun, the rest, the company. I loved it all. What do you want to say tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

There was a lot in this day that was not perfect. Throughout the world there were so many things that were not in my perfect will. I will turn them to the good of those who love me, I will. However, I hate that they happened in the first place. 

A time will come where my perfect will shall reign in this world. There will come a time when there is a new heaven and a new earth and I shall ensure all of my people live their perfect day every day. That time is not yet here but it is not long off. 

I will see you in paradise my child. 

Lean on God...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for today and for all of your help. I could not have made it through this day or even this week if it wasn't for your help. Thank you for being my ever present help. I need every minute of it. I love you Lord, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

This too shall pass my daughter. This time of pressure is temporary and is a time for you to rely more heavily on me. I can take it. You and your problems are never too heavy for me. 

Lean on me and let me guide you through this season. It is only a season and it is a season that will be over soon. Trust me, lean on me, and we will get through the season with joy and victory on the other end. 

I love you too my daughter.

Tomorrow...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for bringing me through the multiple challenge today. I realize in hindsight that it was so exhausting because I was wrapped up in the tasks of it all and not focusing on the people. You have told me so many times that my job is to love the people you have put in my life and you will do the rest. I did not do a very good job of that today. I will try to do a better job tomorrow.

What God Said Tonight:

Today was not a typical day. Today was not a day that you should see as a foreshadowing of days to come. Today was one day where a lot happened but now it is done. 

Tomorrow is a day where I can show my glory. Tomorrow is a day where I can remind you of how I work all things for your good. Tomorrow is a day where you will shout my glory from the mountain top and the world will hear. 

I love you now and forever my child. Look to tomorrow with me.

A beach and change...

 

My prayer:

Thank you for all that you have done this week Lord. You made the impossible things possible. Through it all you protected and blessed me. I feel so fortunate, so blessed but I know it has nothing to do with me and everything to do with who you are.

Thank you for being amazing. Thank you for being love. Thank you for choosing me.

What God Said Tonight:

A beach is many things at the same time. It is rock and sand. It is water. It is plants and animals. And then, if the circumstances change, the beach changes, sometimes significantly. Sand hit by lightning becomes glass. A storm turns water into a destructive battering ram. And even in the calmest of conditions, the rocks are slowly turning to sand. Plants are growing. Animals are living, changing, dying. 

Your life is similar. It is made up of so many components and those components are constantly changing. Sometimes the change is dramatic and sometimes subtle. 

I created life for change. It is not something to fear or avoid. A life that is unchanged is not possible. I do not change. Everything else does. Hold to my constant to weather your changes. I will see you through each one and I will bless you in it all. 

I love you my child, now and forever. That does not change.

Trust and love...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for today. I pray for all of the challenges that are beyond my abilities, which are most of them. I pray for your help, your direction, your intervention. With you, all things really are possible.

What God Said Tonight:

Every path has its own challenges. Sometimes the challenge is the path itself. Sometimes, all you need to do is to trust me and keep one foot in front of the other. 

Not all paths make sense in the moment but I will never lead you somewhere that you should not go. I have a purpose in this, as I do with all things in your life. 

Trust and love, I will take care of the rest. I love you sweet daughter, now and forever.

Not lost...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Thank you for all of the beauty in this day. You bless me so much. I am so grateful to all that you do in my life each day. My thanks feel so inadequate in the face of all that you do. You deserve all the glory and honor and praise.

I pray for my friend tonight God. I don't know where she is. She seems to be missing and there is nothing I can do except ask for your help. Please keep her safe and bring her home.

What God Said Tonight:

All is not lost and all is not as it seems. 

I am your God and I hear your prayers. I will see you through this and every day with grace, mercy, peace, and joy. I love you sweet daughter and you can rest in my assurance. You can rest in my love. 

Youth and age...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you for today and for providing options that were not there before. I freely give you my life and pray that your will is done. 

What God Said Tonight:

Things become aged and worn and generally, that is considered a bad thing. But the truth is that age brings a flexibility and assurance that cannot be found in youth. 

The young have energy and hope. The young have new ideas and the brash confidence to try them out. 

The older leaders have wisdom, calm assurance, and a comfort from knowing that they are not, nor do they have to be right all the time. 

You may wonder why I am telling you this tonight. I see conflict among the ages, among the generations today. This strife and conflict does not need to be there. There is so much gained from seeing the benefits we each have. 

I have a purpose and place for everyone, no matter their age. No matter their experience. It takes everyone, every last one, to make up my kingdom. 

Do not doubt your worth, in this and in every stage of your life.
