The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. Generosity...

My prayer:

What a great day God! I love giving. Seeing someone's eyes light up and tear up as the result of unexpected generosity, no matter how big or small, is one of my favorite things in the world.

Thank you for making me a blessing today. Thank you for blessing me so I can bless other people. Thank you for teaching me the joy of giving.

What God Said Tonight:

It is one of the things that I continue to love about this season, it gives people an excuse to be generous.

Generosity becomes it's own reward and gives back even more than what is given.

I know many people worry about the commercialism that seems to overrun Christmas but if you don't focus on the amount of the gift and stay focused on having a generous heart, that is when there is true joy for all.
