Wars and rumors of wars...

My prayer:

I have been confronted all day with the hostility of the world we are living in. When I look at what is going on in the world it seems like we have forgotten how to love each other. However, when I look in my life and the recent outpouring of love I received when I ran into a tough season, it seems like love is abundant. 

It is hard for me to understand the difference. Is it an artifact of the media and the excessive access to information through the internet? Do I live in a blessed bubble of love because of you? I would like to make sense of it if that is possible. If I can find the logic, it is less frightening. 

God, will you give me wisdom and understanding on this?

What God Said Tonight:

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. I mentioned this to you before and it is here. 

Some of what you hear about is real and some of it is rumors but all of it is a sign of the times we are in. In these times, there is great tragedies but there are also great blessings. 

I will provide for my children, not only sustenance but I will provide joy and love. I will provide everything you need to get through the hard times so you can arrive in paradise whole. 

I love you now and forever my child. I will provide.

Renewed you...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Life feels new, fresh, like anything is possible. God I hope and I pray that this lasts. Seeing life like this with nothing but possibilities is amazing and wonderful. I can't wait to see what you want to do next. My life 2.0!

What God Said Tonight:

New eyes to see, new ears to hear, a new heart to love. I have made all things new and all things are possible. 

The person you were in the past has served her purpose. I have a new season and a new purpose for you. In this season, I will need the renewed you. 

I will always give you what you need when you need it. Your life is not just a sum of all you have experienced. Your life is multiplication of my blessings in you to go throughout the world finding new places to live and to dwell. 

I love you. You are prepared.

Surgical Miracle...

My prayer:

Awesome Father. I do not have the words to describe all that you have done in my life in the last several days but it cannot go undocumented any longer. You took an impossible situation and did the impossible. 

No body believed I could get through this without the major surgery but you had a different plan. Instead of a broken sternum and 2 months recovery, I have one incision, you took me home the day after the surgery and here I am, a few days later, well on the way to full recovery. 

I thank you for the doctors, especially the surgeon who refused to give up even though it was impossible. I thank you for favor throughout everything. Above all, I thank you for having a better plan. You are my healer and I am so grateful for you! Thank you for your miracle in my life!

What God Said Tonight:

I always have a better plan for you my child. I always have the best plans for you. 

You are my special child who I adore. I have formed you in your mother's womb and I have shepherded you though this life. I will never stop. You can count on me now and forever. No matter the circumstances I will come through for you. 

Be blessed. Live life with the gusto and assurance that I am in it with you and I will not let you down. We have so much more to do and now we have some more time to do it. I love you my child.

Protect the kids...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I pray comfort, protection, and peace for every parent and child tonight. We had another school shooting here tonight and it has become almost common. In a world where kids are not safe to go to school, we need you more than ever God. And, in this case, it was kids shooting kids. How hurt and damaged do you have to be to shoot the same kids you go to school with everyday?

I pray your protection around our kids. I pray your healing for our kids. I pray your comfort, your love, and your restoration for our kids. Wrap your arms around them God and bring them through this time we are living in.

What God Said Tonight:

I hear your prayers and I am already there. 

It is what you think in this case. It is the end days and evil is having a last run at the world and my children. He won't win. He can't win, I have already won but in the meantime he is trying to hurt as many as he can. 

Know that even those who are killed in my name are not done. They may have left this life but they are with me with status of a martyr in heaven. 

I am with you and I will save everyone in this life or the next if they make one indication of choosing me. I don't need a big confession but if they choose me, I will save them. I will create a special place for them in heaven. I will fight the battle for them and I will wrap my protection around them. In these times, walking without my armor is dangerous. 

I love you. I am with you. Now and forever.

God has seen it all...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am tired of talking about my problems and challenges. Awesome God, I love you. I trust you. I am all yours. I ask to hear your voice and feel your heart tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

You have seen a lot but you have not seen everything. I have seen everything. Everything that ever was and everything that ever will be. You think you know what is coming because you have seen so much, but I have seen it all and I know, without guessing, what is coming and I will make sure you have everything you need to face it. 

I am your strength and your Lord. I am your Father and your Savior. Nothing will come on you that I have not prepared you for and that I will not bring you through. 

I love you my child.

Life in the desert...

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for the peace you brought me today. I pray for your peace to blanket the earth tonight. I pray for a moment where no violence, no fear, no persecution, is present. Only your peace, your love, your joy. Blanket us with your presence God. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

Even in the desert there is life. A dry season is dry and difficult bit it is not dead. 

Find life wherever you go. Look for the evidence of hope, the evidence of me. Find the small but powerful evidence that I am here and I am with you. I promise I will always leave them. 

I love you and I will see you in joy, in health, in victory before this season is over. I love you and I will never leave you. I love you, now and forever.

Faith...

My prayer:

I fought fear today God. Fear is not something I have to deal with very often. You taught me at an early age how to stand up to fear and watch it run. I got there today, but barely. 

I pray God for your strength, your power, and your healing in me. 

What God Said Tonight:

Faith is a funny thing. You need only a mustard seed's worth but it always feels more comfortable when you have a mountain full. 

Your healing, your future, your strength does not rely on your faith. It is dependent only on me. If you can find one breath to trust me, I will do the rest. 

I have great plans for you. Trust me to do my part.
