The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. And, here we are...I hope He speaks to you in these words.

You are here...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Today had a lot more challenges than I may have wanted; but it ended in peace in this sanctuary you have given me so who am I to complain.

Thank you for every challenge that strengthens me and every peace that restores me. Thank you for the balance of both.

What God Said Tonight:

I have waited for a very long time to see the love in you grow to a point that it transcends your circumstances. I have waited to see you inhabit the peace I have offered you. I have waited patiently but waited in anticipation knowing that at this time, you would find greater joy and satisfaction than any other time that went before it.

I am bubbling over with joy that you have arrived at this time and place. What great adventures we will have. What great joy we will share. I am with you now and forever and we will soar to new heights in this season.

You are here!

Blessings...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I remain in awe of you and all that you do. The story of my life couldn't even be made into a movie, no one would believe it.

Thank you for doing the unbelievable in my life.

I pray for the world tonight. I pray that you place yourself in front of every person who does not yet know you and give them a chance to choose you. I pray, for everyone that already knows you, that you cover them in your peace and your joy that they can walk through this season with heads held high, knowing you are taking care of them.

I love you Father God.

What God Said Tonight:

A blessing not heard is still a blessing. A gift that is not seen is still a gift. I have given, I have blessed, if there is something missing it is the receipt, is seeing the gift in the midst of everything else.

A time is coming when every blessing and every gift will be seen and received. A time is coming when every hindrance to the joy I have for you will be dissolved and made inert. I have prepared a time where my blessings will rain on you and no one can stop it.

I love you my children. Now and forever.

Waiting...

My prayer:

You are so very good God. Every need fulfilled. Thank you for being so generous! Thank you for salvation, joy, and peace. Thank you for health and strength. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I am yours and you are mine, forever God.

What God Said Tonight:

A waiting time is never something that you would choose but the importance of waiting cannot be understated.

Waiting produces in you a greater faith, a greater trust, a greater appreciation, and a greater joy. I would not have you wait if there was not great good in it. In waiting, I will provide hope and I will provide joy. A  good thing if you can see those.

I love you my child and your waiting is not and was not in vain.

See the opportunities...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I love you. I thank you, I trust you. Amen.

What God Said Tonight:

Never has there been a time more prepared for glory than this time. Never before has there been a people more in need of grace than today.

A season has come into your life that has many sorrows and many opportunities. I am here to reveal those opportunities. I am here to assure you that this is not in vain. That there is a purpose for this time. I am here to walk you through each day, each night, and show you a future and a promise that you cannot deny.

I love you and my plans for you are good.

Walk a ways with me and let me show you the view from the hillside. I have a view that is a result of my position that can see far into the future and into the distance. Your position will allow you to see more than your neighbor if you will open your eyes.

A love, a peace, and a joy, these are gift for you tonight my child.

Time and space...

My prayer:

Everything in my life seems so symbolic these days. I see all of these parallels of what is happening now to what was happening when you walked the earth as Jesus.

Awesome God, I pray that for me and for all of your children, we recognize the privilege and blessing of the removal of distractions in this Resurrection season. This year, there is really nothing to get in the way and nothing but time to worship you.

Amazing Father, thank you for making a way so that we could know you. Jesus, thank you for taking the punishment unto death for our sake. Holy Spirit, thank you for your presence and guidance, every moment.

I worship you God. I love you God. I trust you God.

What God Said Tonight:

I have removed the excuse of distraction but for some, they may realize that distraction and busyness is not what is keeping them from me. It is a season for those people to come face to face with the reality of their choices.

I am giving the world the time and the space to seek me. I am in hope that they will and know that many will. Some will not and that grieves my heart more than you will ever know.

I love this world and all of mu children in it. I am waiting on you

Protection...

My prayer:

Today was wonderful God. Thank you for the excuse to rest. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I am still a little amazed at how during this crisis running throughout the world, you have put us in such a place of peace. I feel your peace dwelling with us and in us. I feel your presence as a constant blanket of assurance.

Thank you so much God. You are everything to me.

What God Said Tonight:

A peace, a true peace, one that comes from me is not dependent on circumstances. It is only dependent on my presence in the situation. Wherever you invite me, I will bring my peace.

I love you sweet child and you do not have to live as the world lives. You do not have to have the same worries and the same dread. You are a child of the most high God and with that comes privilege and assurance.

I have you protected. I have you on a high place, away from all that is trying to harm you. I will protect you now and forever.

A time of trial...

My prayer:

Well, I made it through the day. This was a rough one God. Thank you for guiding me. In the end, it all worked out but it was a rough road getting there.

Thank you for your help and your strength to help me persevere. What would I be, where would I be without you? I cannot imagine life without you. Thank you for choosing me and making me your child.

What God Said Tonight:

A rough day is not always a bad thing. It is in the struggle that you grow stronger. It is in the battle that you learn to trust me more. It is in the tough moments that you draw close to me.

I am here for you now and always. I am never leaving you. But that does not mean that every day will be easy and filled with sunshine.

A time of trial is a time of purpose. A trial that is overcome is a celebration. I will not deny you the joy of coming though the fire with no scars to show for it. I will not deny you the opportunity to be the evidence of my miracles.

I love you sweet daughter and I will always bring you through but I love you enough to let you walk a hard path now and then.

Live in my peace, now and forever.
