Mystery of provision...

My prayer:

Thank you God for the financial blessings today! You are an amazing provider and I am so blessed by you! 

What God Said Tonight:

Never worry where your provision is coming from. You have unlocked the mystery of provision. You have found the truth of the paradox. The more give, the more you receive. 

I have and always will honor your prayer, so early in your walk with me. You will never have to worry about your provision.

The beautiful core...

My prayer:

Thank you for a wonderful day God. What a treat. My only intention today was to bless someone else but I ended up being doubly blessed. That is the wonderful way that you work. Give and it will be given back to you. There are some truths about living life with you that are as undeniable as gravity, and that is one of them. I love you God.

What God Said Tonight:

As you break way the outer layer, you often find the core beauty of a thing underneath. The world, this life, often creates a hard outer shell around things, around people. Take the time to chip away the hard outer shell. You may be surprised at what you find underneath. 

Don't accept things, circumstances, or even people, for what they first appear to be. Take the time to discover the true core.

Ultimate goal...

My prayer:

Each day I am stronger but as survival gets easier, I question purpose even more. 

When I was younger, I was so passionate and so completely convinced that I was right, about everything. I was willing to fight for it all. Age has a funny way of showing me how wrong I am. That puts a real damper on passionate indignation. 

I pray, as always God that your will is accomplished. Keep me on your path. I will stay alert and do my best to hear and follow what you have for me.

What God Said Tonight:

Surviving is not the goal. Melding your mind and spirit with me is the goal. 

You will have everlasting life. I have redeemed you from death. Now, you get to decide what to do with it. 

The ultimate goal for you, who have dedicated your life to me, is to get closer to me. Know me better. Become connected with me so completely that you know my thoughts, my heart and we can live forever in relationship and love. 

I love you. I created you to love you. Ever other purpose in your life should lead to that ultimate goal. You and me together, forever my child.

Love sustains...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am worn out and ready to sleep. Today was a bit too much. I pray for your peace to blanket me and that I can rest tonight. Thank you God for always giving me what I need, when I need it. You are wonderful!

What God Said Tonight:

I have little to say tonight but know that I love you. Know that I am with you. Know that you are still on my path for your life. 

Now rest and receive the love I have for you. Let my love sustain you. It is enough, I promise.

Making a way...

My prayer:

Thank you for your help today God. You show me ways through situations that look impossible. You even show me how to take others with me. You are amazing and I am forever grateful for you in my life!

What God Said Tonight:

I will make a way out of no way. That is a promise to you. 

You never need to be without hope. You never need to think that there are no options. With me in your life, with me guiding you, there is always hope and there are always options. 

I am your hope, your wisdom, and your help. I love you, now and forever.

Break the pattern...

My prayer:

Just taking a minute tonight God to realize all that has happened in the last couple of months. It has left me with a new view and appreciation of life. One great thing has been that I don't limit myself as much now. Just because I have never done something doesn't mean I shouldn't do it now. 

I have lived that way in the big things (skydiving, taking trips to far off places at the drop of the hat, etc.) but not with every day things. For example, just because I have never laid flagstone, doesn't mean I can't or shouldn't (we now know I can, should, and did). 

I guess I just want to thank you for these second chances to try all of the things I missed. Each day really is a new opportunity.

What God Said Tonight:

Patterns are comfortable. Habits are easy. They serve a purpose but they can also get you stuck. 

Now is a time to break free of the patterns and the habits and to try new things. Part of the memory issues you are complaining about is actually all part of the same thing. If you have to look around for things, you might see things that you otherwise would have never seen If you are not so sure of your memory, you have to ask more questions and people can help you, feel closer to you, connect with you more. 

This season will not last forever but while it is here, make sure you get the most out of it. It has a lot to teach you. I love you now and forever my child.

My prayer:

Thank you God for ensuring your will was accomplished again today. I am yours, 100%. Thank you for letting me be a blessing today. Seeing the joy on her face was pretty wonderful. I love when I get to be the vehicle that delivers your blessings!

What God Said Tonight:

Waking up in a field of roses sounds wonderful but actually hurts a lot. Sure it is beautiful and the aroma is divine but the thorns pierce you and the pain keeps you from enjoying the beauty. 

Sometimes people promise you things that sound wonderful but once you have them, they do you more harm than good. Trust me. Trust my blessings. My blessings will never cause you harm and will always bring you lasting joy.
