Paradise...

My prayer:

Surrounded by beauty and love. I am at peace and content God. Thank you for this time, this place, this peace, this beauty, and this love. You are so very good.

What God Said Tonight:

I am your provider. I am your Father. It is my responsibility and my joy to see you well placed, at peace, whole. 

I never glory in the suffering. Some worry that the evil in the world is something that I have caused or something that I want to happen. It is simply not true. It is my heart, my strongest intention that this world and my people live in peace, prosperity, and health. And, although I know it sometimes it does not feel like it, we are on the path to that destination. 

There will be a day where we all live together in peace and fulfillment. It will be a time of great joy. No pain or harm will come to my people in those days. It will be a massive change and massive change is never easy. 

I will heal you from your pain. I will strengthen you to endure. I will love you through it all. And, one day, I will see you living in paradise. I love you my child.

Reflect on love...

My prayer:

Thanks for a wonderful weekend God. I did things I didn't think I could do and still had time to rest and reflect. I feel like my life has a new balance. It is not perfect but it feels more balanced, like there is room for everything. Literally and figuratively.

Thank you for this life God. 

What God Said Tonight:

I love you. I really love you. My love is so great, so big, so beyond anything else you have ever known that I can't even use words to describe it. 

Take time to feel my love. Take time to reflect on my love for you. Not only will it be a wonderful experience but my love brings strength. It brings confidence. It brings life. 

I love you now and forever.

Another shooting...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am praying for the people of Virginia Beach tonight. Another mass shooting. More families and friends who have to find a way to move past tragedy and lost. Another community who has to find a way to live each day without cowering in fear.

I pray for your help in their lives. Give them the strength, the hope, the healing that they need. And, God, please take care of those who lives were taken today. I pray they are all dancing in heaven tonight with you.

What God Said Tonight:

A power is roaming the earth right now. It thinks that it is all powerful. It thinks it can do anything it wants. It thinks that it is taking lives and ruining families. But it is a temporary power born out of sin and it will fail. It will crumble. 

These signs of the times are not going to last. They are here and they are horrible but they will not last. I will bring my people through and when this is over, you will all be together again. Those who survive and those who do not. I will lift the barrier between the living and the people in heaven. Our eternity will be lived together in joy and completeness.

Beauty, sin, and grace...

My prayer:

I have so many thoughts racing through my mind tonight God but none of them are really worth talking about. 

My prayer has not changed. I pray your will be done in every aspect and at every level. Truthfully, that is my true prayer for the rest of eternity. 

I may have wants and needs and I will tell you about them because you have asked me to, but my true prayer, my true heart's desire is that your will is accomplished and fully complete. 

I love you God. I love your will. I don't know much but I know enough to know your will is always best.

What God Said Tonight:

There is beauty all around you. I have painted this world in beauty and joy. It is obscured at times by the sin running rampant across the earth, but the beauty is still there. 

Like a canvas that has been painted over, all you have to do is carefully remove the over paint and the true beauty will be revealed. Be careful in the removal though. It must be done with grace and precision. You do not want to damage the beautiful masterpiece below. 

My grace will reveal the beauty. My grace will remove the layer of sin. My grace is what you need to see the beauty I have created for you. 

Increased awareness...

My prayer:

Each day, a little stronger. Each day, a little more insight. Thank you God for all that you are doing in my life right now. I can't wait to see what is next. 

For every person facing an impossible challenge, I pray that your will is done in their lives as it has been in mine. What an amazing experience God!

What God Said Tonight:

Part of life changing experiences is that they make you see your life differently. A life lived without reflection is not the life I intend for you. 

Each moment, increase your awareness. I have so much for you and only in paying attention and being aware will you see and catch it. 

I love you and I want so much for you. Stay open and aware so you can receive it. 

Today's purpose...

My prayer:

Awesome God. At the end of this day, I don't have much to show for it. But, I am grateful to end it here with you. Let me hear your voice and feel your Spirit. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

Each day has its own purpose. Sometimes there is much to do and accomplish. Some days, the only accomplishment is to sit back and let the day pass. 

I love you, I am guiding you, and I will not let you down. 

Rest when it is time to rest. Move when it is time to move. Stay in rhythm with my will and my plan and each day will fulfill its purpose in your life.

Your true self...

My prayer:

I found myself giving advice today God that I think was actually more for me than for the other person.

I pray God that you help us each to recognize the value of who you made us to be. I want to stop seeing others and wishing to be more like them. I want to look at who you intend me to be and be the best me I can be. I pray for help finding this focus and making the most out of all that you have put into me God.

What God Said Tonight:

I am shaping you. I am the potter and you are the clay. Your form, your function, and your purpose have been divinely inspired and produced. 

Your true self is all you can be. You may try to be other things, other people, but it will fail. I have a plan for your life and since you have given yourself to me, my plan will be realized in your life. 

Rest and ride in what feels natural, what you have peace about and you will find yourself growing in the path I have designed for you. My plans are not burdensome. They are not heavy or hard. They are intimidating at times, but once you step in, they are not hard to accomplish. 

I love you and I have made a way for you.
