Overwhelmed...

My prayer:

Awesome God. There are times, like today, when I look over all that needs to be done, and I think, I am ready. I am ready to be with you in heaven or ready for this season to be over and you to reign on earth with satan in the lake of fire forever. Maybe I am just lazy? Sometimes it seems like too much. 

But then, I start thinking about how much I enjoy it. When we are in it, ministering in your name, praying for people, watching you heal people, witnessing to people, loving on people, worshiping you...I LOVE IT! So then, why would I want to give up that privilege? The chance to serve you is an honor. 

How can I feel and think both of these things at nearly the same time? God give me the strength and endurance to do everything that you have for me in this life and that I live out every single day that you have planned for me. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

Every time you get overwhelmed, it is because you trying to do things in your own strength. 

Every time you get overwhelmed, it is because you are forgetting that I am in charge and that I will...that I have given you everything you need to accomplish everything that I have for you to do. Every time you get overwhelmed you have started making your own plans and have forgotten the easiness of following my plan. 

There is peace when you are following my plan for your life. There is balance when you are following my plan for your life. There is joy when you are following my plan for your life. I have not called you to everything but I have called you to everything that you were created to do. There is a perfect plan for your life. My perfect plan for your life. 

When you get overwhelmed, stop looking at the things that are overwhelming you and look at me. I will tell what to do and when to do it. I will lead you and guide you. Stop being anxious about tomorrow. Tomorrow will come and I will guide you. I will provide for you. Until then, enjoy now.

Now is all you really have and there are things that I have for you now. Don't miss them by getting overwhelmed by an imaginary tomorrow that I haven't even called you into. I love you. Rest in my plan for your life.

Freedom...

My prayer:

My God, your an awesome God you reign in heaven and earth, with wisdom, power and love my God you're an awesome God. You are my help and my teacher. You are my savior and my father. You are my healer and my provider. You are the one I can ALWAYS turn to. 

I am grateful for you. I am grateful to live in a place where I get to openly worship you. I am grateful for my family, my friends, my work, my home, and everything else you have provided for me. 

Thank you for the people who have fought and died so I can have the freedom that I tend to take for granted. God, bless America. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

I want you to hear something tonight. You must understand that the blessing of freedom is a responsibility and  can become a curse. Like any good thing, if it is not appreciated and treated with respect, it can become rotten and infect your life. 

Use your freedom wisely. use your freedom for Kingdom business, my business, while you still can. A day is coming where no one will be free of the threat of persecution for my sake. Those days are not too far off. Use this time to spread my Word as far and as much as you can. 

I love you daughter and you are always free if you have me in you. You will never be subject to true tyranny if you have the freedom of Christ in you. You will walk with me along the river of life someday and it will be glorious. The light, the air, the sounds, the smells, the animals, the people...you will love it. I love you sweet daughter.

The time is NOW...

My prayer:

Amazing God of everything. I sit here and simply can't think of anything to talk to you about tonight. I have things running through my head but nothing worthy of discussion. 

Maybe I am not focused enough? Maybe I am not connected or concentrating on you enough? Maybe I just don't have anything to say...lol, you know that doesn't happen very often. 

Well, instead of blabbing on about nothing, why don't I just listen instead? You always have great stuff to talk about.

What God Said Tonight:

Today is a day of action. This is a season of action. The time to rest is over and it is time to act. Do the things you have been waiting to do. Wake up early and go to bed late filling your day with all of the wonderful things I have put in your heart to do. It is the time and the season to do. You have been waiting and waiting for so many years. 

The time is now! Go, do, step out, I will be with you. I have given you everything you need. You have felt me pushing on you the last couple of days and that is because it is time to move and to do the things we have talked about. 

Thank you for your patience and waiting until the time is right but the time is right NOW. You got it.

Hold each other up...

My prayer:

Amazing God. Today was pretty wonderful because I had your peace with me all day. Thank you so much. 

My thoughts tonight are not about my day though. My thoughts are about a dear friend who is having a tough time. You know the situations God and I just ask that you step in and make it right. Teach her what she needs to know, but help her. God, I am not sure if she can even ask for help herself right now so I am asking for her. Please, remind her that you are there for her. Remind her that you love her. Remind her that she doesn't have to always be strong and that in her weakness you are made strong. Refresh and rejuvenate her God so she can be all that you have made her to be.

Thank you God for hearing this prayer tonight and thank you for what you are about to do in her life.

What God Said Tonight:

I hear you daughter and I am already working on her behalf. I have already dispatched angels especially for her. 

Remember Moses in the battle who needed help to hold his arms up. As long as his arms were up, they were winning the battle. But, he lost his strength after awhile and needed help from his friends to hold them up. That is how you are designed. 

You can't do all that I have called you to do on your own. You will need the help of the people around you. You were created for relationship and when you do things together, no one person can grow haughty and boastful. You, as a team, will see success in this life. 

Tonight you hold your friend's arms up when she cannot. Tomorrow it very well be someone else who will be holding your arms up. In this, freely give and freely receive. It is right that you should do so.

Get er done...

My prayer:

What a great week God. Thank you so much for the refreshing of this week. I think...I hope I am ready to jump back into work tomorrow. Help me to maintain the peace you have given me and help me to be a blessing.

What God Said Tonight:

Walk in the plan that I have for you and you will never go wrong. Seek me first. Don't worry so much about what you are doing and what you are not doing. Don't worry so much about getting it done. You will get everything done that I have called you to do because I have equipped you to do it and I will push you when you need to be pushed and let you rest when you need to rest. As long as you are focused on me, listening to me, and following me, everything else falls into place. You can have perfect peace when you are fully focused on me. 

Then, when in doubt, when you aren't sure what to do next, remember that love is truly always the answer. Love on people, love on me. It will solve so many things. 

This peace that I have, I have already given it to you. keep your thoughts where they need to be and you will live in that perpetual peace. 

I love you daughter and I am excited about what is next. you saw this week that you are capable of more than you thought. You will see next week that you are capable of more than you can imagine. But, don't force it, just follow me.

A good day...

My prayer:

What a great day God! This was one of those days that could have been really tough, but you just made everything work! Love the new tablet you got me (for free)! Love that you showed me how to fix my phone (for free)! Love the new furniture you found me (Not free but pretty close to free!)

There is nothing like living in your blessing God! Thank you for a wonderful day with you and a wonderful friend. LIfe is good when you are in charge!

What God Said Tonight:

I am glad that you enjoyed today. It is fun for me to bless you. However, you will live a better life when you are able to be content no matter the circumstances. It is possible. Paul did it. 

When you can honestly say, today was a good day, not because of what happened but because I was with you, that will be the day when you find that EVERY day is a good day. When you stop worrying about what is happening and start focusing more on me and our relationship, you will find that every day is a good day. 

I love you dearest daughter and I will continue to bless you; but think about changing your definition of a "good day" and see if life in genral isn't better.

Something I don't know about God...

My prayer:

Mighty God. My thoughts are all over the place tonight. Some times, I am just in awe of all of the aspects of you...at least the ones I know. There is God the healer that consistently heals like you did today for the chronic hand pain that we prayed over. There is God all mighty, ruler and maker of everything that ever was or ever will be. There is God, Jesus the Christ who died and was resurrected so I could be forgiven of my sin. And then, there is the loving sweet God that willingly meets with me every night, just to talk. 

There is just so much to you God and so much more for me to know. Tell me something I don't know about you tonight God. Tell me something new. I love you so much and want to know you more.

What God Said Tonight:

That is a great question. Let's see, something you don't know about me...Well, let's talk about me being omnipresent. 


I am everywhere at all times. It doesn't mean that I am running around so fast that I can be at all of the important events in each person's life. It literally means that I am in all places at all times. I don't ever have to hurry because I am always already where I need to be. I don't ever have to schedule time to meet with you or anyone because I am already there, all the time, waiting for the opportunity to talk to you.


You talk about me meeting you each might, that isn't something that I have to show up for. I am already with you everywhere all the time. When you ask for me to come into a sitaution, I am already there. When you ask me to be present in a service or a worship time, I am already there. When you send my word of healing to someone, I am already with them.


I don't move in space or time like you do. I am not limited in my ability to experience and interact as you are. I am able to reach and touch everyone all of the time. You don't ever have to worry about being alone because I am always with you...and everyone else.


Take off the box of "natural thinking" for a minute and imagine the possibilities of being completely unlimited by time and space. Get a glimpse of me.
