Leave your worry...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Jesus, amazing Father. Thank you for bringing me through this week and for the many blessings. Tonight my prayers continue to be for protection and help for all of the people and land threatened by fire tonight. They are raging and we need your help.

What God Said Tonight:

Leave your worry with me and rest. A lot has been taken from you this week and it is time to receive the restoration and be refilled. An empty vessel cannot provide any water. I need you to be full.

I love you my child and your prayers are heard. I am already on my way and my angels have been charged with your protection. My children will be protected and my glory will be known. 

Promises...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I know you have good plans for me and I know, even in the worst of circumstances, that you turn things for my good. I know and I trust that. It still doesn't make the hard times easy. It makes it easier. Knowing that it is all for a purpose and that you have a plan, definitely is better than not knowing those things. But still, it can be really hard sometimes. 

Thank you for bringing me through this day. Thank you for the encouragement you brought around me. 

Help me God, with every step, every action, and every thought as we go through this challenge. 

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I didn't promise you easy but I promised you victory. I didn't promise you would never face hard times but I did promise you that you would never face them alone. My promises are good, yesterday, today and tomorrow and I will NEVER leave you or forsake you. Those promises are never in question. 

I understand that there are times when it is so hard to hang on. I was there, in the garden, with blood sweat coming from my pores. It was not easy but it was so very worth it. I know about hard times and I know how it can hurt. 

I will never let you walk through them alone. 

I promise you one more thing. This thing, this challenge, this wall, it will not last forever. It is as temporary as the wind and when you turn around, you will be amazed at how quickly it has passed. 

I love you now and forever my child.

Community...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you for a wonderful couple of days to disconnect from the stress. I enjoyed every minute. I pray for your help to take your peace and love into this next week, whatever it might bring.

What God Said Tonight:

It takes many to make the one and one is made of the many. A cell, on its own is not terribly impressive but put together thousands of cells and you have a human being. Put together thousands of human beings and you have a movement that can change the world. Put together several movements and who knows what can be accomplished. 

I made you for community not only because I love you, which I do. But I made you for community because there is power and greatness in the many that make the one. 

Come together and create more than you could on your own. Put me at the head and there is no telling what we can do. 

I love you now and forever my child.

Pockets of goodness...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. Today had more challenges and bad news than I could imagine and it just kept coming. But through it all, you were there, guiding directing, giving me peace and in the end, you worked it all out. 

That is what is so amazing about living this life with you God. No matter what happens, I can lean on you and you work it out. I can't wait to see what eternity with you in heaven is like but until then, living this life with you is pretty wonderful.

What God Said Tonight:

It is rarely the case where there is no good to find. Even in some of the worst circumstances, when you look, there are small nuggets of goodness to be found. That was not true today but you created them anyway. 

Your focus on loving those around you and lifting them up created pockets of joy for you and those around. It is what I have taught you and you did it well today. 

Continue to be my reflection of joy, of love. Continue to create those pockets of goodness for the world. It is needed and it is a reflection of me that stays with people. 

I love you sweet daughter. 

Shaken...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Holy Spirit, my helper. Today was difficult and I did not handle it very well. I realize, just now that I did not ask for your help today, no wonder it was rough. How is it, after all of this time, I can still forget to ask for your help?

I pray for your help tonight God. I pray for your help tomorrow. I pray for your help, now and forever. There is nothing I can do that is worthwhile without you. 

What God Said Tonight:

Your house is built upon the rock but sometimes, those rocks are smaller and can shift. Some of your rocks are built from your experiences and in the right circumstance they shift and where you thought you were stable, you now are a little shaken. 

It is nothing to worry about. It is just a resettling of the rocks into a more stable base. These small earthquakes that move things around a little may be frightening at the time, but in the end, everything is more firmly fitted together so the next time the shaking comes, you will not be moved. 

I love you and I am here for you, in both the shaking and the stability. 

Blast...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for the reminder today that even when I go through the hard times, it is a time to celebrate because it is one more opportunity for you to shine and show off your glory. I pray God that your glory be seen this week. I pray for help to keep that thought in the forefront of my mind, no matter what I face.

What God Said Tonight:

A light and a fire is coming. Not a fire that brings destruction but a fire that brings light to the situation and pushes out everything that is getting in the way. I have a blast coming in your life that will clear out the debris and leave you in a clean and light path for the future.

My prayer:

Abba, the only good thing about this day is that it is over. Ok, that is a bit dramatic. Thank you for bringing me through all of the mess and challenges today. Thank you for your continued teaching me about relying on others. Thank you for your continued favor in the midst of the mess that is life right now. 

I love you and I am ready to spend some time in your arms tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

Rest, here now, with me, just rest. Breathe in, breathe out. I have got you. 

I won't let you go, now or ever. I won't let you face any challenge alone and I will never let you be defeated. I am with you now and forever and it is time for you to rest in me.
