Confidence...

My prayer:

All glory to you God. You get all the credit. You made the impossible, possible and I am very grateful.

What God Said Tonight:

You see impossible barriers and I see stepping stones. It is about perspective but it is also about confidence. 

When you truly believe that I am the God above all Gods, all powerful, all knowing, and that I love you above all else...when you truly believe that, then the future holds no worry. There is no fear in you, when you truly see me for who I am. 

I love you and I will always take care of you. 

Right in front of you...

My prayer:

I am discouraged tonight God. I know it is more about my attitude than it is the circumstances but it is what it is and I don't know how to change it. You have been talking so much about purpose and I believe in the importance and power of purpose. But, I just don't see the purpose in any of this. 

Give me a glimpse Lord? Show me a little of this underlying purpose that you have been talking about? I think it would help make things a lot more bearable. I love you and I do trust you but a little better vision would really help.

What God Said Tonight:

The purpose and the vision are there, in front of you. It just doesn't look like what you expect so you don't recognize it. 

It was the same way when I came to live on earth for a season. So many people did not recognize me because I did not come in the form that their preconceived ideas had assumed for me. 

Stay open. Recognize that I have purpose in everything you do. Broaden your understanding and acceptance of what that can be. One moment of vulnerable truth can make all the difference for someone. And, one saved soul is worth the world to me. 

Think of things through the veil of my love and the purpose will become clear.

No more cages...

My prayer:

I love you God. I am not in a talking mood but I am always in a listening mood. Is there anything you want to say tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

A cage does not have to have bars to keep someone in side. People build cages, all on their own and then complain that they are trapped. A cage that you build yourself is still a cage and will still keep you from your destiny if you let it. 

I ask that you set a purpose today to rid yourself of your cages. Live free, as I designed you to live. I have given you freedom. Please receive it and walk in it. I love you.

Working...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. Thank you for a good day. Thank you for this new adventure. I pray your guidance and protection over us.

What God Said Tonight:

Working for the sake of working is a slow death. Working for a purpose, a great purpose, is life and breath. 

I made you to be productive, but not just for others. Not just for you job. I am about to need a lot of people who know how to run and lead teams. 

Purposes behind purposes...

My prayer:

Amazing Father, my everything. I may not know what tomorrow brings or what the next five minutes bring but I know I have you with me. That is all I need. I LOVE YOU!!

What God Said Tonight:

There are things you are blind to. Things that are happening. Purposes behind purposes. 

I know you like to be in the know about everything but that is not possible some times. I want you to take comfort in the absolute knowledge that while you do not know everything that is happening, I do. Not only do I know everything, but I will work everything for your good. 

Let me take on the unknown. You take one step at a time, following me, trusting me, and we will be through this season in no time.

No auto pilot...

My prayer:

I pray for purpose and drive tomorrow God. I pray for something to be excited about. I pray, above everything, that your will is accomplished. Thank you for being in my life. 

What God Said Tonight:

Your day tomorrow is a clean slate. It can be what you make of it. You have placed constraints on your life that are not from me. You have put limits on your life that are not from me. 

Find the joy in tomorrow. Keep your eyes open. Don't go through the day on auto pilot. See what the day has to offer you. 

I love you and I will see you fully realize every blessing I have for you.

Battle...

My prayer:

Needing nothing tonight God but yearning for your voice.

What God Said Tonight:

Shh, come here. Let me warp my arms around you. Let me whisper into your ear and smooth your hair onto your head. 

I love you daughter. Now and forever, I love you. 

Don't let the battle of this world get inside of you. The battle is mine. I will fight it for you. While I am fighting, know that I fight for you. I fight for our future. I fight for your love.
