Favor...

My prayer:

Thank you for a remarkably successful day God! Everything just kin of worked today. 

Thank you for your favor on my life. 

What God Said Tonight:

Favor is not a gift I give out as a reward. Favor cannot be earned. Favor is a byproduct of your inheritance. 

I have given you eternity. I have given you salvation. You are the daughter of the Most High King. and that comes with certain advantages.

Breathe...

My prayer:

I did not do well with life today God. I felt smothered in darkness. I know that sounds dramatic and I don't mean to be over dramatic about it but that is what it felt like. 

I am praying for your light to chase away the darkness. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

Breathe in and then out. 

Now is not a time to figure it all out. I don't need you to problem solve this. Just rest. I have a plan. I will show you the direction. 

Nothing is lost. All is in waiting. Rest and listen for me. 

This season is short.

Blessings and timing...

My prayer:

I have a lot going on and I need your help with all of it but I really don't want to talk about it tonight. Evrey time close my eyes I se the beautiful flowers from today I would rather spend a few more hours with those beautiful thoughts than having to face the reality of to morrow. More than anything, I want to hear your voice God. 

What God Said Tonight:

I am building you a home. I have picked out the wood and the floor plan. I have begun joining each of the walls together. I spent my time on earth as a carpenter and it is those skills that I am calling on now for this gift  I am making you. 

This house I have designed just especially for you. It will have every feature that I know you will love. I am handling the construction personally so I am sure it is just what I want for you. I can't wait for you to see it. I can't wait for you to live in it. But, it is not ready yet. Moving in now would be a nuisance with sawdust in your food and no roof to protect you. 

The same is true of so many of my gifts. They are wondrous and they are made especially with you in mind. But, if you get them too soon the blessing becomes a curse. 

I have a right timing for everything. Blessings in their right time are miraculous. Blessings in the wrong time are corrupted. 

I love you. Wait on my blessings for you.

Faith is the foundation...

My prayer:

What a FUN day God!  You are amazing! The freedom you have given me is amazing! AWESOMENESS!!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Faith is a rock you stand on in times of storms. Faith is also a rock you live on in times of stability. Faith is the basis of your life and is the foundation of our relationship. 

We have amazing experiences together. We have wonderful memories together. All of those are woven into our relationship but the core of it, the base that all else builds on, is your faith. Without faith, there is nowhere for the rest of it to reside. 

I love you. I love our faith. You and me forever, my love.

Live on purpose...

My prayer:

A lot of thoughts are rolling around in my mind tonight God but nothing really worth talking about. At a place of peace tonight. Not that everything is perfect. It is not. But, for whatever reason, that doesn't matter tonight. I am at peace and with you. That is all I really need.

What God Said Tonight:

A life lived is not the point. A life lived on purpose, for purpose. That makes a difference. 

Anyone can live. A child of God can live in purpose. Live you life on purpose, in my purpose, and see what happens. 

We have so many great things yet to see together and an eternity to see them. 

I love you. You matter. You are valuable. You are mine.

One day in eternity...

My prayer:

I am wiped out. There was a bit too much to deal with today God and my mind is just kind of shutting down. I pray for strength, help, and restoration.

What God Said Tonight:

Today is one day in an eternity. While you feel like you are shutting down now, the truth of it is that you survived today and sometimes that is enough. 

I was with you in every moment. You are never alone. You made it through and rest is next. 

Tomorrow truly is a brand new day. 

Needy...

My prayer:

Back to work tomorrow. I will need your constant help like always God. Do you ever get tired of how much I need you? Sometimes I wonder if I will ever grow out of my constant need for you. Then I wonder if I even want to. 

I love you Father. Thank you for always being there when I need you.

What God Said Tonight:

Three are a  lot of different ways to experience need. Sometimes you need because you have not learned how to do something on your own. Sometimes you need because you are unwilling to do something on your own. And sometimes you need because you are unable, and never will be able to do something on your own. 

You need your parents to do for you until you learn how to do for yourself. If you refuse to learn, you may overstay your welcome with needing your parents to do for you. However, you will always need someone to take care of you when you are ill. You cannot do that yourself and you never will be able to. 

You worry, thinking that your need for me is the second kind. You are worried that you have overstayed your welcome and your need comes out of not learning what you should, to do it on your own. I am telling you now, your need for me is the third kind. 

The things you need me for are things that you cannot do for yourself and never will be able to. You were not designed to do those things. You were designed to rely on me for them. 

So, the short answer to your question is no, I never get tired of you needing me The longer answer  is, you never have to worry about that because your need for me is normal and should never change.
