Needy...

My prayer:

Back to work tomorrow. I will need your constant help like always God. Do you ever get tired of how much I need you? Sometimes I wonder if I will ever grow out of my constant need for you. Then I wonder if I even want to. 

I love you Father. Thank you for always being there when I need you.

What God Said Tonight:

Three are a  lot of different ways to experience need. Sometimes you need because you have not learned how to do something on your own. Sometimes you need because you are unwilling to do something on your own. And sometimes you need because you are unable, and never will be able to do something on your own. 

You need your parents to do for you until you learn how to do for yourself. If you refuse to learn, you may overstay your welcome with needing your parents to do for you. However, you will always need someone to take care of you when you are ill. You cannot do that yourself and you never will be able to. 

You worry, thinking that your need for me is the second kind. You are worried that you have overstayed your welcome and your need comes out of not learning what you should, to do it on your own. I am telling you now, your need for me is the third kind. 

The things you need me for are things that you cannot do for yourself and never will be able to. You were not designed to do those things. You were designed to rely on me for them. 

So, the short answer to your question is no, I never get tired of you needing me The longer answer  is, you never have to worry about that because your need for me is normal and should never change.

Worry...

My prayer:

What an exciting day! Thank you for blessing me!! You are very good to me God. Love you SO MUCH!

What God Said Tonight:

Worry over nothing. I mean it. Worry over nothing. Ever. Pray, surrender, seek me, seek wisdom, but don't worry. 

Worry is a deadly distraction. It will eat away at your soul and leave you unable to see the blessings surrounding you. Worry starts small but like a noxious weed, will quickly take over everything. 

Make a decision today to give up worrying. What ever you need to do, give it up. You can trust in me. Love you and I will not let you down.

Alignment...

What a fun day God! Thank you for everything! It is going to take a bit to wind down from the excitement. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

Did you recognize the peace in today? Did you recognize how everything had its own time and place? When that happens, you can be sure of my will is in control. 

When you question if you are in my will and you can't stop questioning. When you can't find peace in your spirit, that is a sign, most often that you are not flowing in my will. When your spirit is aligned with my Spirit and my will, there is peace. When it is not, there is not peace. 

It is how I can speak to you without words. It is how I can lead you without controlling you. I love you, now and forever.

God's battleground...

My prayer:

I am late but I am here. I have no idea how I survived today other than it had to be you carrying me through. Can we end this one with your sweet voice?

What God Said Tonight:

Things really are not always as they seem. It is something that is said a lot but that does not make it less true. 

There are so many aspects of life that you cannot directly observe. You sense the results of these changes, these upheavals, these battles, but you cannot see them. You sense that something is not right but you don't see anything out of place. 

You are my daughter and with that comes a sensitivity to the spiritual realm. Your peace comes from the spiritual realm. And, sometimes your lack of peace can come from there too. When life around you seems normal but you feel off balance, that is very often your sensitivity to the all that is going on behind the scenes. Do not discount the feeling but do not let yourself be too concerned either. 

The spiritual realm is my battleground and I will not be defeated. Not now, and not ever. My victories will be celebrated throughout time. I will fight these battles. I will win. Let your peace come from the assurance that I will always win in the end.

Smooth rocks...

My prayer:

Thank you God for a day of complete rest! Nothing to worry about. Nothing to deal with. I really needed that. 

You are so good to me. Every year on this day when the US celebrates our freedom, I can't help but spend time thanking you for the freedom your love and sacrifice has given me. You are the source of my freedom. Without you, there is no me.

What God Said Tonight:

Even rocks change with time. A rock that is under water becomes smooth. A rock at the edge of water can become grooved and wavy. The water makes the change but where you are in relation to the water determines the results. 

I love you. When you are fully immersed in me, I can make you and your life smooth. My water will not harm you when you are immersed in me. When you are half in and half out, the world gets in the way of what I want to do in your life and it can leave you grooved and uneven. 

Immerse yourself in me and let me smooth out your ridges.

All your needs...

My prayer:

It is kind of crazy God. When I think I can't do anymore, you always do something, give me a second wind, give me a rest, somehow you just keep me going. I can't explain it but I have experienced it time and time again. 

It is one of the reasons that I don't say "no" to many opportunities. I know that if it is on my heart to do something, or is something that you have put in my path, you will give me what I need to do it, every time. 

Thank  you for being a God that I can count on every time.

What God Said Tonight:

Every time. Every day. Every where...I have heard that before. That is your morning prayer that my Will is done every where at all times. 

I am true to my word. I will give you everything you need. 

Sometimes people think I am just talking about money or provision when I say that. I am talking about so much more. 

If you need strength, I will give you strength. If you need healing, I will give you healing. If you need growth, I will grow you. 

I love you and I will fulfill ALL of your needs out of my riches in glory.

My prayer:

I am trying really hard to look at this week as an opportunity for your glory God but the honest truth is I am dreading it. I am really going to need your help, every moment. Guide me, direct me, strengthen me please God. 

I am tired of the fight, which usually means I am trying to do it on my own and not relying on you enough. 

Sweet Father, I give it all to you. I am not tough enough for this battle but you are. Thank  you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I got it. I have got you. Is there anything I won't do for you? You are the apple of my eye and the core of my heart. I created you. I adore you. 

Ask anything, I will provide for you. Ask anything, I will heal you. Ask anything, I will shower favor on you. I love you. I love you. 

This week, I will show you that love in some really tangible ways. I will show you favor that is undeserved. I will show you power that is unbelievable. I will show you my love.
