Time to shine...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I come tonight with no agenda but to listen. Love you!

What God Said Tonight:

I have been picking flowers for our garden all day. I want to bring you new flowers. I want to bring you joy. I want each day to be your golden and gem award for being my child.

I have seen you struggle long enough. Now is the time for you to shine in my glory. Now is the time for the world to see the grace on you. Now is the time for the world to know my grace through you.

I have little more to share. I have shown you all although not all can be understood. I have a stake in your success. I will not see you fail.

Love is the cure...

My prayer:

God I pray for your peace and your help to show us how to love each other. We don't know how to treat each other with love and with grace and it is literally killing us.

Help us God, help me, to love people with the love that you have put in me. Help me to treat people with kindness and respect. Help me to have compassion for all people.

I love you God and I think things in this crazy world are likely not going to get better until we learn how to love each other better.

What God Said Tonight:

Love is not always pretty. Sometimes it can get quite messy. To love someone, you have to be wiling to lay down beside them. You have to be willing to walk in their shoes for a bit.

But call on me, every time, and I will fill you with the love you need. Call on me and I will teach you how to love the unloveable.

Violence is a disease that spreads quickly. But love, love is the cure that spreads even more quickly. I have the power of love planted in you.

Free will...

My prayer:

I am feeling a bit cynical tonight God. It has been coming on or awhile, off and on. The horror of what we do to each other in this world leaves my heart cold and hard sometimes.

God, I pray for your protection for your people. I pray for your comfort. I pray God that your will is done on earth as it is in heaven.

What God Said Tonight:

Free will is as much a curse as it is a blessing sometimes. The hard thing about free will is that everyone has to have it. If only some people have it, it is not truly free.

The problem with everyone having it is that everyone, I mean EVERYONE, has it. The decisions of one or two people can have devastating effects on the lives of so many.

I can't promise you that nothing bad will happen to you as a result of your or someone else's free will. You already know that is not true. I can promise you restoration. I can promise you healing. I can promise to guide you always. I will steer you around every problem that I can.

I love you daughter. Don't let the decisions of others harden your heart. Don't let them steal the joy that I have given you. I am yours and you are mine forever.

Nothing is impossible...

My prayer:

What a night God. I am inspired and tired in almost equal amounts. Thank you for the reminder that all things are possible with you. You bless me like crazy.

What God Said Tonight:

I am yours. That's it, but that's everything. Nothing is impossible.

Shifting...

My prayer:

Awesome Father. I had one of those days where everything felt a bit off center. Something fundamental was not right today but I could not put my finger on it.

I pray God for your sovereign power in my life, that you put everything right and that you work everything or my good.

I pray also for my friend tonight God who is struggling. She doesn't know you yet. I ask God that you give her a personal experience of your love and power tonight. She needs you so badly. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I have put some things in place that will take some time to settle in and feel normal. I have shifted things in the spiritual realm and you are noticing the difference.

The difference is not bad, it is actually very much for your good. However, it might be a little uncomfortable for a little while.

I love you and I love your friend. I will come as  close to her as she will allow tonight. 

Burdens...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I could really use some help. I feel a load of burdens and concerns weighing me down, bending my back. I would like to hand them over to you tonight.

You are strong enough and smart enough to take them on and find the answers. I am out of ideas and out of strength. I hand them over to you. Thanks God.

What God Said Tonight:

I am here to bear your burdens. I am here to take your worry and fear. I never intended for you to feel these things. From the beginning I only wanted to help you and I have never stopped. 

Helping my kids is one of my favorite things to do. You have given them to me, now I can really start to work things for your good.

You relax for a bit. Rest up because as these get resolved, we have new levels of joy, celebration and new challenges.

The mysteries of God...

My prayer:

Thanks for your favor today God. Life is a whole lot easier when I follow your lead. The challenges were still there but I just followed your peace and everything worked out.

That is the crazy wonderful thing about you (one of the crazy wonderful things about you). You always work things out. Little things, big things, you always work it out.

Thank you for being the solution, every time.

What God Said Tonight:

Seek and you shall find. There, in front of you are all the mysteries of the world. Seek me and you will find the answers.

I know you love having the answer; but even more, you love discovering the answer. Seek and you will find my child.

There is no knowledge that I will withhold from you. I might have to delay the answers sometimes, that is a different conversation, but I will always tell you the truth. I will always give you the answer.

The "mysteries of God" are mysteries only to those who don't know me. There is nothing unknown that you will not know in the right time.
