Paths...

My prayer:

Just when I think I know what direction you are headed, you switch things up. Life with you is EXCITING God!! I remember, before I was living my life for you, I use to think that living for you would be boring. I would have to give up all of the "fun" stuff. But now, just keeping up with you and all you are doing and all you want me to do keeps my head spinning. And it is ALL fun stuff!

Thank you for understanding my weaknesses and protecting me from myself. I am ready to go God! Let's do it!

What God Said Tonight:

This is going somewhere good. This time, these events, may not follow the path that you had in mind but they are following the path that I ordained. That path will not only get us where we are going but it will take us through the things that you need to go through. 

The destination is important but so is the path and the experiences along the way. Your life is a path and I am the destination. Follow every path that leads you closer to me and turn from every path that leads you away. 

I am so happy right now! There is so much that you are right on the brink of. This is REALLY GOOD!

Season of doing...

My prayer:

Thank you God for a day of divine appointments, especially the surprise one at the end of today! I came so close to skipping small group tonight but you had other plans. Thank you for getting me there and for all that you did. 

You always know. It is like you said the other night, most of the time I have no idea why you are asking me to do something but you always have a reason. Thank you for nights like tonight where I get to see the reason. 

It is pretty cool that I get to hang out with, serve, and know you, the all knowing God. YOU ARE AMAZING!!

What God Said Tonight:

It is not a time for waiting it is a time for doing. You are in a season now where I need you to do, to act, and to do so quickly. The waiting season is over, which I know you are glad about. Waiting is not your strongest asset. But doing, that is where you can really shine and I have a lot for you to do. 

Stay alert. Keep your ears open. Keep your eyes open and keep your spirit open to follow my lead. 

We need to grab every opportunity in this season. It is a season where everything you do is multiplied. Both good and bad. Everything you do in this season will be multiplied. Make sure that you do things that you want to see multiplied.

Keep going...

My prayer:

Awesome God. There is so much going on and my head is spinning. It is hard to settle and focus on something specific to talk about. 

I guess I will just summarize and say there are a whole lot of needs out there and I thank you that you are big enough to handle them all. I pray God that your will be done in every last one of those situations. I pray that you guide and direct each of us and that you show us the way out and the way up to the next level. 

I love you God and leave it all, every worry, every situation, every problem and every answer, in your hands.

What God Said Tonight:

I brought you through this day as I promised. You are in a better position to accomplish all that is in your heart now than you were yesterday. While there is a lot going on, you are making progress. 

Keep your focus on me and keep moving forward. There is great joy ahead.

You don't know everything...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I am tired of listening to me. What do you want to say tonight? I just want to listen to you.

What God Said Tonight:

Things aren't always what they seem. Situations aren't always what you think they are. You do your best to make sense of the world but you don't have all of the information. There will always be things that will surprise you because you don't know everything you need to know to understand. 

I can teach you much but there will always be some things that you don't know. That is where your faith and trust in me comes in. When I tell you to talk to someone, or turn right, to make a particular choice, when I tell you I want you to do something, even if it does not make sense to you, please, do it anyway. There is always a reason that I am asking and I will try to let you know when I can but trust me and listen to me. 

When I asked you to encourage the woman during church on Sunday, I know you thought it was not an appropriate time but thank you for doing it anyway. There were things happening that you did not know about. When I ask you to pray for someone you haven't thought about in months, please pray. There are things going on that you do not know about. 

I love you daughter and I don't ask for obedience out of any type of power trip. I am God almighty and I am more powerful than anything or anyone else, ever. I ask for obedience because sometimes I need you to do something and I don't have the time or the ability to explain why. Trust me that there always is a "why" and follow my lead. 

Mirrors...

My prayer:

Hi God! Thank you for a wonderful day. 

Something I noticed today, or maybe I have been noticing it for the last week or so but it really stood out today. We, your children, know who you say that we are but we have a hard time really believing it. 

You have told us we are a Royal Priesthood that we are above and not beneath, that we are children of the most high God, set apart and made holy. You have told us that we are destined to succeed and that everything we do will prosper. 

These are all promises you have for us and how you see us. But, we very seldom see ourselves that way. I know so many beautiful (inside and out) women who feel worthless most of the time. I know so many men who are mighty men of God but who have been beaten down by life and are afraid that they will never be who they "should" be so they just stop trying all together. And, you know that I don't see me right. 

God I pray and ask that you give us new eyes to see. I pray and ask that you help us to see ourselves as you see us. I believe that with this new found understanding of who we are, we will finally be able to accomplish the things that you have for us and the things that are on our hearts. 

What God Said Tonight:

The problem is that you are looking in the wrong places to see who you are. You are looking in the mirror of society, the mirror of those around you, you are looking in mirrors that make comparisons. Your worth is not dependent on the worth of those around you. Your worth is determined by me. 

You know how it is. You think your house is a fine house to live in until you go to a friend's house and see how well they live. Suddenly your house isn't good enough. It is the same thing when you start to compare yourself to others. 

Your only yardstick should be me. Your only concern should be "What does God think of me?" I know there is the popular saying of WWJD (What would Jesus do?). I would ask that you think of it a bit differently  Ask "What would God think of me doing...?" You know how I think, you know what I think of you, use those as your guides and your measuring sticks for who you are and how you are doing. 

The only one watching is me and I love you more than you will know. A big part of life is learning to see yourself. An even bigger part of life is learning to see me. When you begin to see me in you, you have it made! Love you so much.

Distractions...

My prayer:

There is nothing better than hanging out with you God. Your presence makes everything better. Your Spirit brings a peace and a joy that is beyond explanation. Your power gives me an assurance and a hope that you can handle anything that comes my way.

I want to be more aware of you in the everyday moments of life. I want to be more aware of your presence in my life. I want others to see you in me no matter where I am or what I am doing. I love you God. Thank you for being in my life and in me.

What God Said Tonight:

The distractions of life are so numerous that it makes for tough competition for your attention. To experience me and my presence more, cut down on the distractions. Turn off the cell phone. Turn off the computer. Turn off the television. 

Remove at least one distraction during each day and you will see more of me. Clear out the hallways of your mind and of your life. Decrease the clutter and you will be better able to see me and be with me. 

I am here. I am always with you and will never leave you. But sometimes the distractions get between us and make it hard to see. There is nothing wrong in the distractions themselves except that they keep you form me. 

Love you and can't wait to spend more time together with fewer distractions.

Ordained and chosen...

My prayer:

What a perfect night God! This week was a little rough but tonight made up for it and then some! Great work out, yummy dinner and then intense and wonderful prayer and worship with some of my most favorite people! Your presence was so thick tonight God. Thank you for all that you did and thank you for being there with us, guiding directing, helping, loving  healing, and just being wonderful you! LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have a purpose and a plan in every thing in your life. There are no accidents and no coincidences in your life. There are only blessings and opportunities. There are only moments of joy and moments to learn from 

I have ordained you as my child and a Royal Priest. You will walk on the horizon and see my miracles transform the world. You will see the new heaven and the new earth. You will see the remnant and you will see the dead coming back to life. 

I have chosen you for this time and I have equipped you to be a part of it. I have shown you many thins with more to come. 

Your willingness, your faithfulness and your love have made a way for you and for your family that will serve you well.

I love you daughter and I am ready to take you to into the next level.
