True value...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Jesus. Thank you for a pretty great end to this week. You are so good to me. You bless me and make everything work out. I am grateful, but grateful is just a word. I am thankful, but thankful is just another word. I am fully dependent on you and I couldn't be happier about it. You are my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

Less than an age ago, there were so many things that the world and the people in it thought were essential. So many of those things were fleeting and nothing of substance and today, no one even remembers they existed. The same will be true of most of what people place their value on today. 

The true value in this life is the love you give and love you receive. 

The true value in this life is your life with me and with those around you. It is the people, the relationships, the love that will carry value into eternity. The rest is all extra that will fall off sooner or later. 

Remember to seek out and protect those tings that are truly valuable in your life. They are precious and should not be wasted or forgotten.

Soften your heart...

 

My prayer:

Amazing Father. Thank you for heard prayers. Thank you for restoration and healing. Thank you for this amazing life that you have given me. 

You are everything good and I love you and praise you more than words can say. Hear my heart scream out your praise tonight, sweet Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

A healed heart is just that. It is healed and whole. But a healed heart can be hurt again. 

This life is hard on hearts. This world is hard on hearts. 

You really have two choices. Harden your heart and keep everyone at arms length. Or, soften your heart, allow it to love and be loved, and trust me to keep it whole and heal the damage when it comes. 

I am your Father and your savior and I would rather never see your heart hurt. But I understand the cost of that is that you will never know love. That is too high of a price to pay. Soften your heart and trust me to heal and restore it. It is the better choice.

Ease off...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. I have several things running through my mind tonight that I could use your help with. First, I need your continued, clear direction on the opportunities and choices facing me right now. These are choices that if I make the wrong choice, the choice or choices that are not in your will for me, I know from experience I am signing up for a lot of pain and heartache. But, if I choose the path that you would have for me, I know it will be a truly great blessing and series of blessings for me and all of those around me. Help me make the right choices.

The second biggie is your help with this appointment tomorrow. You know how I hate having to do this. I would much rather have my health be 100% in your hands. But this is where we are at. So I pray that you guide the physician. Help her to make the right choices and decisions. Help me to know what to do and what not to do. 

Huh, I didn't realize it before but now, saying it to you, I realize it is the same prayer, just in different circumstances. It all comes down to your will in my life. That is really all I need and all I want. 

What God Said Tonight:

I have not seen the day when your life is outside of my will. I am not saying that every decision you make is the perfect or best decision but your heart, your spirit, are one with mine and that makes your decisions and choices in line with what I have for you. 

Seek me, and I will help with choosing the best path. You know that I will. But ease off some of the pressure on yourself and know that whatever you choose, I will find a way to bless you in it. That is really what I was telling you this morning. I will bless you and bless you and bless you. In every season and every moment of your life, I will bless you. 

I have great plans, but let those plans develop out of the natural flow that I have set in your life. It will all come together.

Life of love...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you for today. Thank you for all that you have taught me about reflecting your love. Today had so many wonderful examples of the fruit of that kind of life. 

You have created a life for me where I get to live in the middle of love. Your love for me and my love for you. My love of others and their love of me. It is an awfully sweet way to live. 

I know I have more to learn and more love to give and receive but for today, thank you for showing me the wonderful results of living in love. 

What God Said Tonight:

A gift brings as much blessing to the giver as it does to the receiver, sometimes more. The same is even more true of love. 

You are blessed in being loved but so much more blessed in the loving. Practicing loving others every day will bring you such tremendous blessings. Above and beyond what you can imagine or think. 

The life of love is the only life worth living. 

I love you sweet daughter. Rest well tonight.

Reflection of God's love...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for working out the tough spots today. Thank you for the good news in the middle of the chaos. Thank you for bringing me through it all. 

Days like today remind me how unbelievably blessed I am to have you leading my life. I don't know how I ever would have gotten through the barrage of road blocks today if it wasn't for you. 

You are amazing and I am grateful.

What God Said Tonight:

Remember the insight of today. Remember the depth and purpose you discovered in the middle of it all. Remember how right it felt to show and give out my love when there was nothing good to point too. 

You have heard me say this so many times, and today you saw the fruit of it. 

When in doubt, love those around you. When there is a challenge too big to overcome, love those around you. When everything is going perfectly...love those around you. 

You be the reflection of my love and I will take care of everything else. 

Greatness...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Jesus. Thank you for all that you are doing for us. Thank you for being just what we need when we need it most. The glory is all your God. 

What God Said Tonight:

Now is the time of great experiences and achievements. But those achievements come in reaction to great challenges. 

Do not be afraid of the challenge. Do not be intimidated by it, no matter how big, The challenge is only there to provide the jumping off point, the excuse for the great glory and blessing. 

I will use every last bit of this challenge to bless you. I will turn it for your good. Do not be sad or worried or nervous about the challenge. Truly, rejoice in it. It is there for your good. 

Now and forever my child. I love you now and forever.

God's glory set free...

 

My prayer:

It was another intense day God. Thank you for bringing me through it. Thank you for giving me peace in the middle of the chaos. And thank you for turning 24 hours of work into 12. 

I love you like crazy.

What God Said Tonight:

Every day and every challenge is another chance for you to trust me and for me to show my glory in your life. It does not take a life filled with only good things to show my glory. It is in the hard times and in the challenges where I can most help, when my power and my love is most apparent. 

I never want hard things to come into  your life. But, when they do, I will always provide the opportunity for you to trust me in it and I will always provide the opportunity for me to turn it for your good. 

In your trust, in your faith, my glory is set free.
