Lessons from the struggle...

 

My prayer: 

Awesome Father. For the first time tonight, I feel well. Not just less sick but actually feeling well. This has been a long struggle but I am very grateful that you have brought us through it. So many have not survived. So many had much worse complications. 

Thank you for your protection, your healing, and your guidance throughout. I love you and I am looking forward to enjoying the simple things in life again like swallowing and breathing.

What God Said Tonight:

Not every struggle is about teaching you something but there is something to be learned from every struggle. 

Your faith has made you well. You renewed appreciation for the basics will carry you forward. 

I love you sweet daughter and we have many more journeys  to take. Most of them much more enjoyable than this one.

Commitment...

 

My prayer:

Sweet Jesus. The night before we celebrate your birth. This is usually one of my favorite nights of the year. This year is a little different but there is still so much to be thankful for. 

Thank you for your life and your sacrifice that makes my life possible. Thank you for your healing power that has brought us through so much. Thank you for a beautiful home, amazing family and friends. 

I celebrate you tonight Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

Come, sit beside me. Let's look out on the horizon at the future together. Let's imagine all that we will do together in the years and eternity to come. 

This commitment we have to each other is stronger than the years and will withstand any storm. 

I love you now and forever my child. I will be by your side in every situation and every challenge. I will never stop dreaming with you.

Changing season...

 

My prayer:

Awesome God. This is the hard part. This is the part where I know you will bring me through the situation but I am still in the middle of it and I don't know if it will get worse before it gets better. I am REALLY ready for it to get better.

Trusting you God. Your will be done in this and all things. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

A season isn't over until the new season arrives. Tonight is the end of one season and the beginning of another, but most people do not even realize it. 

Your season can change and you not even be aware that it has changed. 

I love you and I will see you through, this and every season. Go, rest, trust, and know that I am God.

Who controls my future...

 

My prayer:

Awesome Father. The news from today was not encouraging but I continue to hear your voice and your assurance that you have everything covered and you are taking care of it all. I choose to listen to your voice. I choose to believe that you will work this for our good and that you will be glorified in it. I choose that because you have shown me time after time that you will and that you do. I love you Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not chance or the enemy that controls your future. You have given you life to me and with that, my will is accomplished in your life. 

I will see you through this, as I always have. Your choices, made many hears ago, make it possible for me to do the miraculous for you. 

I love you now and forever my child. Rest knowing that I am not surprised and I am in charge still. I love you.

Latest crisis...

 

My prayer:

Things have taken a bit of a scary turn God. Despite how things look, I am reminded of your love and how you always work things out for our good. I state here tonight, I trust you. I believe you will bring us through this season. 

Thank you Lord.

What God Said Tonight:

I love you. I won't leave you, in this or any other time. I will not let you down. I am yours and you are mine and this is not all that it seems. 

This latest crisis is nothing more than one more opportunity for me to shine my glory in your life. Rest and know that I am God.

My prayer:

Amazing God. Thank you for your favor, direction, and protection. It was a good trip but I am grateful to be home. Thank you for protecting home and everyone in the storm. Thank you for your favor. You are so, so good to me. 

What God Said Tonight:

Time to settle back in, find the slow and even pace. Time to find the rhythm of the earth again. Not of the world that man has made of it but the rhythm of the earth as I made it. 

Breath in the cool, clean air. Soak up the warm sun. Refill your spirit and find our peace. 

I love you and I am here to help you back to center. It is a place of great stability and strength. It is where you are at your best.

My prayer:

I am headed on another journey tomorrow God and I pray for your guidance, direction and favor. I also pray that your peace surround me and touch everyone around me. I pray that your peace change the circumstances I am in.

What God Said Tonight:

There is no place that my peace cannot reach you. There is no where you can go that I will not go with you. 

My love is your blanket and I will never leave you. We are family that cannot be broken.
