Follow the light...

My prayer:

I really don't have anything to talk about tonight God. Thanks for a good day. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

My light will lead the way but when you walk ahead of the light, when you walk faster than the light is moving, you are in danger of  tripping, falling, going into places that I never intended for you. 

Slow down a minute. Wait for my light to lead. Just breathe and trust my timing. 

Follow the light, do not try to lead it. I have given you the light to show your way. In faith.

Never alone...

My prayer:

Today was certainly full of challenges! Thank you for favor and passion. I pray for rest and rejuvenation so I can face the new challenges of tomorrow.

What God Said Tonight:

No battle is yours alone. Every battle, every war, every challenge is for us, together to face. 

Part of my sacrifice of coming to earth was to provide a way that you never have to face anything on your own, ever. I am with you now and forever.

You don't need to ask for my help tomorrow, it is already yours. 

Final destination...

My prayer:

Thank you for the continued healing and strength today God. I pray for your guidance, wisdom, and favor as I jump back into reality tomorrow. 

What God Said Tonight:

Look up and see the beauty of the heavens. Incline your ear and hear the songs of the angels. 

This world had its own forms of beauty but wait until you see what I have in store for you. The beauty of the new world and the new heaven are unrivaled. 

I love you and I can't wait to take you there. Your life is a ramp, a jumping off point for the rest of eternity. Run it well but don't get too worried, it is not the final destination. 

I love you now and forever.

Healing paid in full...

My prayer:

Awesome Father. Mainly in survival mode today but grateful for the time and space to rest and heal. I don't know what tomorrow brings but I know you will be in it with me and that is all I need to know. I love you Father.

What God Said Tonight:

Your healing is here. You don't have to work for it. You don't have to travel anywhere to receive. There are no requirements for your healing. 

I have already paid the bill. I have already arranged the treatment. 

Your job is to rest and receive. And, that is all. I am your healer. 

Leave it to me and watch me pour out healing on you. I love you.

Change is life...

My prayer:

Thank you for the break and the change in scenery God. It was really beautiful. 

I now pray for your healing power in me. I thank you that it is by your stripes that I am healed and that it is your desire that I live in divine health. 

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

Change is not death. Change is life. Everything that lives, changes. Embrace change as evidence of the life in you. 

I have you and I will never let go. 

Beautiful in purpose...

My prayer:

This world is really confusing God. I need a break from trying to figure it out. 

Sometimes I wonder why I even try. It is what it is whether I understand it or not. Sometimes I wish I could be one of those people who just go with the flow, never questioning if what they are going through is right or wrong. Never wondering if there is a reason and a purpose. They just accept life as it comes. It seems like they might be a lot happier. 

But I am not built that way. Something inside of me insists on trying to understand the "why" of everything. It is how you made me and while it has its benefits, it is also exhausting. I was about to ask you for a couple days off from it and then I realized, I don't really want that. Me, without needing to know "why" is not really me. 

Ok, I am done complaining. Thanks for listening.

What God Said Tonight:

Beads, they are beautiful when they are in a jumbled up pile but they are more beautiful when they are strung into a necklace or bracelet, performing their function, the one they were made for. 

You are beautiful and I love you no matter what. But, when you are fully walking in your function, in what I made you to fulfill, well, that is one of the most beautiful things in the world. 

Being you may not be easy but it is pretty wonderful. Rejoice in the you that I have created in you and know that my purpose lives in you. I love you.

Life...

My prayer:

Well God we made it through this day and this week! I am grateful to be here with you. I am grateful that I don't have any problems that need solving right now. As I rest in your peace, I am grateful for you.

What God Said Tonight:

Wounded but not fatally. Walking but not running. A life lived but not relished. This is not what I meant for you. 

I want so much more for you. I intended so much more. There is so much more to come. Don't give up before I can manifest in you all that I planted. Stay solid, stay rooted, stay with me and we will see the glory that I have for your future. 

A life lived in purpose and in joy. An eternity spent in celebration and worship. We have so much more to do together. We have so much more time. 

I love you now and forever and I will see you shinning on the hill. I will see you rise above what the world has tried to do to you. I will love you now and forever.
