All your needs...

My prayer:

It is kind of crazy God. When I think I can't do anymore, you always do something, give me a second wind, give me a rest, somehow you just keep me going. I can't explain it but I have experienced it time and time again. 

It is one of the reasons that I don't say "no" to many opportunities. I know that if it is on my heart to do something, or is something that you have put in my path, you will give me what I need to do it, every time. 

Thank  you for being a God that I can count on every time.

What God Said Tonight:

Every time. Every day. Every where...I have heard that before. That is your morning prayer that my Will is done every where at all times. 

I am true to my word. I will give you everything you need. 

Sometimes people think I am just talking about money or provision when I say that. I am talking about so much more. 

If you need strength, I will give you strength. If you need healing, I will give you healing. If you need growth, I will grow you. 

I love you and I will fulfill ALL of your needs out of my riches in glory.

Ask anything...

My prayer:

I am trying really hard to look at this week as an opportunity for your glory God but the honest truth is I am dreading it. I am really going to need your help, every moment. Guide me, direct me, strengthen me please God. 

I am tired of the fight, which usually means I am trying to do it on my own and not relying on you enough. 

Sweet Father, I give it all to you. I am not tough enough for this battle but you are. Thank  you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I got it. I have got you. Is there anything I won't do for you? You are the apple of my eye and the core of my heart. I created you. I adore you. 

Ask anything, I will provide for you. Ask anything, I will heal you. Ask anything, I will shower favor on you. I love you. I love you. 

This week, I will show you that love in some really tangible ways. I will show you favor that is undeserved. I will show you power that is unbelievable. I will show you my love. 

Now and forever my love.

True contentment...

My prayer:

Today was perfect God. Thank you for every moment. I kind of don't want the day to end. Such peace and contentment. Your presence is so obvious tonight. I know you are always with me but sometimes I am more aware of you, like tonight, and it is really wonderful.

What God Said Tonight:

Contentment is a state of your spirit. It does not originate in your mind or even in your heart. It is Spirit born and spirit lived. 

So many people chase contentment through changing their circumstances but that is not where you find it. So many people think, "If I could just meet the right person, get the right job, move to the right neighborhood...I would be content and happy." But the truth is, contentment comes from your spirit resting with mine. True contentment comes from faith and trust in me. 

Let you spirit dwell with me. Let my Spirit dwell with you. There you will find true contentment. I love you.

Temporary distractions...

My prayer:

We made it through this week God!!! I am sorry I have missed a few of these quiet times with you this week but thank you for letting me know you understand. 

For a lot of years I thought prayer and worship were an obligation I had to you. You had done everything for me and the least I could do was honor you with prayer and worship. And, I still think there is some truth in that; but, you have let me see it for the privilege that it is. You have shown me that your gifts and your love do not come at a cost. You are perfect.

Taking advantage of that privilege, I have to take a minute and thank you, praise you, for your healing power. Thank you for healing me. Thank you for healing my friend. Thank you for watching over my friend's medical procedure. You are a healing God and I am SO GRATEFUL!

What God Said Tonight:

Every day, every moment is a new chance to start again. There are no things that I can not make new. There is nothing that I can't turn for your good. 

With me, the 'hopeless' should not even exist as a word. With me there is always, always, always hope. 

I love you. Anything that has hurt you and anything that has come against you are only temporary distractions in a life blessed of God. I will see you victorious in all things.

Kindness and respect...

My prayer:

Thank you so much for what you said last night God. It really helped. Today was so much better. 

Sometimes I need a reminder of who I am in you and the power you have given me in this life. I am eternally grateful for the salvation you have given me too; but, the tools and blessings in this life are also very wonderful. 

What God Said Tonight:

One good turn deserves another. Pass it on, pay it forward. There have been a lot of words to describe this over the years but what it comes down to is treat your fellow humans with kindness and respect.

A defeated enemy...

My prayer:

This week is hard God. I am exhausted. When I look at things objectively, it is all coming together but it sure feels rotten. I pray for your help, your peace, and maybe a little joy if you have some to spare.

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I need you to know. I need you to think about something. Who is it that wants to see you fail. Who wants to see you give up? You have an enemy. He is my enemy too. 

In times like this, when you can see that things are working out but you still fell beat down. When you know I have promised to take care of you but you still worry. Those are signs and symptoms of our enemy having an effect on you. 

Don't give him that privilege. He has no right to you or your life. You are covered in the blood of my sacrifice. Tell him to leave you alone. It is in the power that I gave you to do so. 

I love you and you will not be defeated by a defeated enemy.

Set right...

My prayer:

Ok, walking back into the battle tomorrow God. I REALLY need you to intervene. I do not have what it takes to make this situation right. I pray for your divine intervention and above all, your will be done. 

Jesus, I repent of pride. I am sorry if, even for a second, I accepted glory that should have been given to you. All glory to you God. I am worthless without you. 

What God Said Tonight:

Tomorrow is nothing new or different. Tomorrow is one more day for my glory to shine in your life. I will be with you. I will give you peace. 

The lack of peace you have felt the last few days had nothing to do with the situation and had everything to do with you and me. You thought you had wronged me and because of your love for me, that made you feel anxious. 

Everything is set right between us. It was done more than two thousand years ago. Every wrong in you was made right. There is no separation for us. We are together forever. 

Be at peace knowing that my love will never waver. I will always see you through and see you victorious. I love you.
