India earthquake...

My prayer:

Dear God. I pray for comfort for the people who have lost loved ones and are suffering in India tonight. When a disaster of this size hits, there is so little I can do but you God, you can make a difference. I pray that your love and healing blanket them. You are the only true comfort at times like this. I pray they feel your love tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

I will shelter them under my wings. All who will have me, I will comfort, heal, make whole. I fly over the land of India with a heart for my people in their suffering. I will wrap them into my protection and comfort. 

I have seen and foretold of these terrifying times. There are more to come. But those who are with me, will be spared in eternity. 

I love you, my children. I am right here with you.

Bride of Christ...

My prayer:

My God is the ruler of the universe. My God is the Father and Creator of all. My God is you. My God is the precious love that invades my soul. My God is the healer that makes wrong things right. My God is the unexplainable power that overcomes every obstacle. 

You God are more amazing than I can ever say and I am truly eternally grateful for you in my life. 

God fill me more than ever before. Fill every hole, every crack, every break in me. Heal every wound. Make me whole so I can be a better example of your wholeness on this earth. 

Make me like you Jesus. Let your love rule my life and my actions. Let your desires rule my heart. 

What God Said Tonight:

I am your crown and your glory. I am the jewels that adorn your head. I am the silks that flow over you. I am your covering and your glory. I am. I am. 

You are my bride and I will no longer allow you to be corrupted. I will expose those who try to hurt you and make you less than what you are. I will bring you into the light so all can see your beauty. But, I will protect you from their lust for you. 

You are mine and mine alone. I will not share you. I will see you in your complete and fulfilled place of glory in my presence. 

We are meant to be together. Me and my bride. I have waited for you. I have prepared for you. I have created a home for us. It is nearly time for us to be together. Don't get weary in the waiting. Don't give up on me. I promise the time is very close. 

Waves of love...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. Long day but good. Thank you for the privileged positions you have placed me in. It was and is an honor.

You are so good to me. Thank you for being my Father, Creator, Teacher and Friend.

What God Said Tonight:

The waves of the ocean are a metaphor for so many things. They are a reflection of everything that is everlasting and does not stop. They are a picture of things that may gain momentum and lose momentum but are always present, moving and making a difference.

My love for you is like the waves. It is always there. It is always changing the things it touches. Sometimes you are more aware of it than others but it is a constant that you never have to worry  or concern yourself that it will stop.

Can you even imagine a scenario where the waves of the ocean would stop? No, it is not possible. As long as there is an ocean, there will be waves. My love is the same. As long as I exist, my love for you will keep coming.

I love you so very much.

Bad circumstances...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I love that you always give us what we need to get through the tough times. I really do. But, sometimes, we simply need the circumstances to change.

Funny, even as I say that I am questioning if that is the truth. What would be the greater miracle and testimony, that you change the circumstances or that you somehow got someone through an unlivable circumstance.

It makes me think again about Shadrach, Misach and Abendego being thrown into the fire. Sure, you could have kept them from being thrown in the fire; but it was a greater miracle and greater testimony for you to go into the fire with them and bring them out with no damage.

Maybe that is what you want to do in some these crazy and unusual circumstances in our lives?

As always God, I seek your wisdom and truth.

What God Said Tonight:

Life is not black and white, right and wrong. Life is a complicated tapestry with all the strands woven together.

I am God and I can do all things. Sometimes, the thing to do is to change the circumstance. Sometimes the thing to do is to walk you through the situation and bring you out stronger than what you went in. Sometimes the thing to do is to give you room to learn and do and grow.

I have many answers to the tapestry of life. Trust me to always know and use the best answer for each situation. I have every answer. Come to me and I will give them each to you in their time.

Peace and contentment...

My prayer:

What a roller coaster day God. Thank you for your strength through this day. Thank you for your healing power in me. Thank you for the privilege and opportunity you provided for me. And thank you for putting up with me, even though my attitude was not very good.

I am trying to seek out the beauty and the joy like you have said. Once in awhile today, I managed to see it. Not as much or as often as I wish I would have though.

That seems to be a common theme for me. I am doing better but not as good as I want to be doing. Do we ever get to a place of complete wholeness? Do we ever stop striving? Or, do we need to find contentment in our imperfection, knowing we are never perfect except when we are fully covered by your sacrifice?

I don't have many answers but I sure have a lot of questions. I ask for wisdom and understanding God that I can know you better and be a better extension of your love in this world.

What God Said Tonight:

Peace. Peace is not a lack of trouble in your life. Peace is not something that occurs only when things are going well. Peace comes from the complete assurance that I am taking care of you.

You get some things right and others wrong every moment. Your ratio of right to wrong does not define your experience of life. I define that.

I am your God and you are my child and we can dance in the fire together. We can laugh in the midst of fear. We can sleep in the middle of the storm.

Put your full trust in me and your contentment is a natural result. Your  contentment is not from what you do. Your contentment is from your covenant relationship with me, our bond. That is what brings you that peace and contentment, no matter what.

I love you, now and forever.

My prayer:

I am kind of sick of myself tonight God. What is on your mind? I would rather listen than talk tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

There is so much beauty around you but you need to see it. There is so much joy in you but you need to feel it.

You are blessed. You are my child. You have the God of the universe behind you. We can do anything.

Enjoy this life. It is the only one I can give you. You will live forever with me but you will only have this time, in this place, with these people, once.

Don't miss out on the joy and beauty of this moment. Don't run through life with blinders on your eyes and headphones in your ears.

Be aware and present for all that I have for you. It is good. I promise.

Open heaven...

My prayer:

I have so many thoughts running through my head tonight God, if I even get started on one, we might be here all night!

Thank you for inspiration and revelation. Thank you for new opportunities and for being so AWESOME! Love you!

What God Said Tonight:

I have all night if you do.

I would ask you to be willing to be pulled out of your routine to follow my will. I would ask that you be willing to move away from what is comfortable into a strong current of my will.

I have a lot of things coming your way that will require you to be willing to do things differently than you ever have before, at times you have never before, and in ways you have never before.

I have equipped you and shown you how it has been done. Now, I want to show you how it can be done. I want to show the way to see my glory all the time. I want to show you how to live under that open heaven, all the time.

It will require doing things that seem crazy at the time. Listen for my voice. When you know it is me, trust me to guide you through it no matter how crazy it sounds.

I won't let you down.
