Turn to God...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am very focussed tonight on the wonderful things and people you have put in my life that I have been taking for granted. That is one good side effect of going through a rough time, it increases my appreciation for how good things are most of the time.

Thank you God for the millions of things you do for me each day that I fail to appreciate or even recognize sometimes. Thank you for the millions of opportunities and the many wonderful people in my life.

Thank you that with you, there is always a tomorrow, whether here on earth or with you in heaven. There is always hope of tomorrow.

What God Said Tonight:

What I haven't ever said is look to the world for your help. I have never told you that you will find joy, peace, and hope in the things of this world. And yet, so may of my children repeated turn to the world to provide and fulfill the things that only I can fulfill in them. 

I am here, right here. Turn to me and I will help. Turn to me and I will bless you. Turn to me and I will provide for you. I am yours now and forever.

Turn it around...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I know you tell us that you will work everything for our good. I wish I could see how you are going to work this for your good. Right now it just hurts and is frustrating. 

Please help me to see your purpose in this and/or how you are going to use this and, tell me if I should be doing something different to make this end more quickly.

What God Said Tonight:

Sometimes things are more complex than you can imagine. The universe is so vast and so complicated with each element carefully balanced to create your reality. Then there is the complexity of the spiritual realm which you are a part of even when you don't realize it. 

Truth is, I do always have a purpose and I will always turn every circumstance for your good because you are my child. But, how and why is not always something I can explain in a way that will make sense. 

I ask you for your trust. I ask you to lean on me. I ask you to know that I will never let you down. We have been through a lot together. This, this is nothing more than a blip. You will forget it soon enough. In the meantime, trust me to turn it around.

Lack...

My prayer:

Such frigid cold God. Thank you so much for a warm home. My heart breaks for all of the people who do not have that luxury. God, I pray and ask that you provide for them tonight. Guide them to resources, guide them to warmth. Wrap your arms around them and keep them safe. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I have a heart for the people without homes. I came from that environment. I have a great heart and love for people who lack. 

I am your great provider and I will provide for your every need. You have to receive it. That I can't do for you. But I can give. 

I am watching over all of my children keeping them safe and warm tonight. My love never fails. I will make a way for each one. It is their responsibility to see it and walk down it but I will provide it. 

Love you sweet daughter, now and forever.

God's healing presence...

My prayer:

Thank you for the miracle today God. Only you could have made that work out.  

I need a little more miracle though. God, I recognize your presence in me and your healing power. I thank you for providing your healing to me. I receive your healing. Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

I wrap you in my healing presence tonight my child. Rest your head on my chest and let me remove the illness. Let me fill you with my love and my health. Let me care for you. 

I, your Father shall take care of you. Jesus, your brother provided your healing for you. Holy Spirit makes it possible to get the healing in you. And we your God and Lord and pleased to see you healed. 

Go and rest and wake up renewed.

Trust...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I wish I had more answers than I do questions but I am grateful for an inquisitive mind. I am who you made me, which has to be either good or at least has a purpose. Sometimes I think life would be a whole lot easier if I could just accept things as they are and "go with the flow." But, I am not very good at that.

God, I am trusting you with everything I have and in every way I know how to trust. 

What God Said Tonight:

You are all connected. All of my children. You all are made differently but you are all made in my image. You are like a net that holds together. 

You don't have to be like anyone else. I wouldn't want that. I need you to be you. I did create you for a specific purpose and you have to be you to fulfill that purpose. 

The purpose is not gone, it is still in process. This part of the plan requires you to trust more and do less but it is still part of the plan.

I have another adventure planned for you soon and you will love it. In the meantime, remember all of the times that I came through for you even when you had given up hope. Trust in me. Trust in the relationship we have. Trust in the plan. 

I love you sweet daughter and I will never leave you. 

Relationships...

My prayer:

Thank you for your healing, your protection and for amazing friends. You are wonderful God and I am so grateful that I get to have you in my life and in me. 

God, I bind any evil that is trying to get near me or any of your children and I cast it into the pit of hell in the name and power given to me by you Jesus. I loose your Holy Spirit and presence over us and prayer your warrior and protective angels around us. Thank you GOD!

What God Said Tonight:

Some people are in your life for a moment, some for a season, some for a lifetime. And, some people are meant to be in your life for just a little while but you hold on to them. 

You know this, you have heard it all before. Don't let your loyalty and faithfulness keep you in relationships that I want to move you out of. Don't let your fear of commitment keep you from holding on to relationships that I want to keep in your life. 

Trust me to bring the people you need, who need you, when you need each other. Keep your heart open, love those that I bring around you and release those I take away. 

You will all be together forever in eternity eventually, so don't worry so much about it now. 

Evidence of God...

My prayer:

Thank you God for ridiculous favor today! Thank you for giving me grace and poise and wisdom to deal with each challenge as it came. My responses were well beyond my natural abilities and therefore were clearly all you. Thank you for making me look good today. 

You are awesome and you are the reason for every success in my life.

What God Said Tonight:

You are made in the image of the most high God. You have the Holy Spirit living inside of you as your helper and your teacher. You have the Son of God as your Savior and your brother. You have the Father of creation as your Father and Lord. 

Your very existence is evidence of me. Your life reflects what I can do for my children. It gives me immense pleasure to see you succeed. I am on your side, now and forever. 

Don't ever forget who you are or who is in you. Live each day with that confidence.
