Let it go

I saw before me a huge wall, strongly built, almost impossible to knock down. As I stood starring at the wall, I realized I had created it and I am the only one who can break it down. If I will lay down my offenses, forgive all who have hurt me and release any bitterness, then the wall will crumble. As I began to release everyone from the depths of my heart, I had to turn and run, for the wall was crumbling down. If I had not run away it would have landed on me. Can you imagine being crushed by the very wall you built? Once the wall came down there was a glorious light on the other side and as I got closer, I heard a soft voice say your free.

Be Free in Jesus tonight, release any and everyone and receive his greater peace. Lord may your joy fill heart, as this painful step is taken. Of all people you know what it is like to forgive great offenses, to release those who have caused tremendous hurts. It says in your word we must forgive and you will forgive us. Thank you for your grace and the strength to do what seems impossible. Praise to you almighty God! 

Fight for it.....

The struggle of many Christians....

Weakened by decay, all I see, all I hear have are those lost in a fallen world. Discouraged, broken, hurting, and lost. Filling the void with the things of this world. Feeling the pull I have become cold and hard hearted, allowing my self to lose hope. A lack of belief that things will change, they have been this way for so long. I sit feeling trapped, just wanting to be close to you and feel your presence. I feel as though I have failed you and disappointed you. Did I miss it, did I hear correctly what you had to say? I need to hear from you Lord, the doubts are getting stronger and louder. Is there a way to regain my faith and respark my joy?

Gods response...

You have allowed the cares of this world to creep in and quiet my voice. You have been listening to voices that are not mine. Shut out all the voices and the words that are not from me. Soak up my word, in a world full of famine, this is your feast. Be filled with my love and your joy will be restored. It's time for you to fight for what you know I have given you. Don't let go like those who become weak and stop trusting me. Remain strong, my grace is sufficient for you. 

A world of ants

Do you ever feel like an ant compared to God? We are so tiny in comparison, yet entrusted with a great purpose. The original plan- to all work together on the same goal, each unique, each special, each with a specific purpose. Sometimes we feel so unappreciated and insignificant, yet this is far from the truth. We are great in the eyes of God, small in size yet mighty in power. 

You must know who holds your seemingly tiny life in his hands, and you will no longer feel like an ant. Just a small and helpless creature wandering around in this life. Know that you have great purpose, there are people only you can reach with my love and shine my light upon.  I want to use you to reach others who are searching for more in this life.

The next time you go to step on an ant remember the times you have felt that small in this world and be encouraged, knowing it has great purpose, and it knows what it's purpose is. If you sit and watch an ant, it does not let obstacles stop it from completing it's purpose. It will go around, under, over, and even backwards just to get around what is blocking it. God has also created us to be this resilient, we are capable of finding ways around our obstacles and challenges. Sometimes we choose not to.

My Prayer...

God give us the resiliency of the ant, able to see our purpose and not allow obstacles and challenges to stop us from completing it. when we feel small compared to you, remind us who lives inside and the strength we posses! Go build what God has purposed you for!

 

Who is painting your life?

Father God, I praise you tonight for the talents you have given me. All honor to your name for making me aware of what you have placed within me so others can be touched by your presence and see what you have shown me! Awesome and powerful is your name- You are the creator of so many masterpieces and I am honored to be one of them. Thank you for the ability and the strength to walk out this journey with you as my guide.

Tonight you have shown me a canvas that was full of darkness and turmoil.  Then I heard you say this canvas is your life and I will paint you a new picture if you allow me to. The ugly painting then burned up and a new canvas appeared, it was blank. God began filling it in with brilliant colors, ones so beautiful it is difficult to describe them. Each time my mind filled with negative or worry some thoughts the painting turned to chaos and I heard you say change your thoughts, burn the canvas and start anew. Then God took my hand and I was painting with him moving my hand. There was a large river of  deep blue, and a tree growing along side of it. He reminded me that he is the vine and we are the branches. The tree then had a flame in the middle yet it did not burn up( just like the burning bush). This represented the children of God receiving his fire by being attached to the vine. He said anyone can change the picture on the canvas, I just need to guide their hand. If you are allowed to paint our lives the outcome is beautiful, yet when we take the brush and take control, a great mess is made. Thank you God for giving me a new canvas to paint the picture you had in mind!

Storm Dancers

Great and mighty God, I thank you that you are the peace giver and only in you can we obtain true peace. I praise you for giving us the ability to have the peace you give by just receiving it from you. There is calm in the storm because you are in it! I ask you to reveal all that you desire in the midst of the storm, don't let me miss whatever it is you are showing me. Glory and honor to you precious Lord of all!

 You have shown me in a vision Jesus Clothed in glowing white with a beautiful purple sash around him, blowing in the winds of the storm. Jesus is standing with his arms outstretched saying to all come unto me and you will have peace. As I approached Jesus he said only you can calm your storm, I can't stop it for what you must learn in the midst of it. However you have the ability to stop feeling the wind and the rain by just believing and receiving the peace I give. I then saw the storm all around me but I felt not the rain, or the wind, as if there was a force field all around me. I began to dance and praise Jesus for what he had given me, and suddenly there were many others dancing around me and praising God, the dry area grew and grew by the peoples belief, and we could see the storm all around us yet we remained dry and calm. I am with you in the storm, only you can calm it by learning to receive the gifts I give. Receive tonight, let go of all doubt, any hindrance and just receive.

Being needed...

My prayer:

Mighty God. It is good to be needed God but it will be good to get away for a little while too. Thank you so much for this vacation. I am so ready for it. 

I pray God that you guide us and lead us each day. Take us to the places and the people that you have for us. Help us God to be a blessing everywhere we go. I thank you God for your traveling blessings on us. I pray your protection over the flights, the bags, us and I thank you God that you rebuke the devourer for our sake. I thank you for your protection everywhere we go. Thank you God. YOU ARE AWESOME!!

What God Said Tonight:

I am glad that you are getting away for a little while. It will be good for you. However, you also know that being needed is something that you need. It is part of what makes you. It is part of what fuels you. 

You were created with a servants heart and that heart has to serve or it withers and dies. Take this time, rest, regroup, meet new people in new places. Enjoy each and every minute of it. But, don't lose track of the fact that you were made to serve. You were made to be needed. You were made to fill the holes and solve the problems around you. 

I love you daughter and your nature, your gifts are beautiful. This time will help you to remember and appreciate them more fully again. I love you and I am with you always.

Release the pressure...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am at peace tonight, fully content, although always hungry for more. This is good God. This is a good place to be. I am not often here. I am usually striving, reaching, waiting for that next thing; but, here tonight, I am satisfied. 

This is a nice feeling. I want to stay here for a little while. I don't want to get too comfortable that I stop growing and striving. That is my fear, if I stop reaching for the stars, I will stop forever. But, if it is ok, I would like to just coast a little bit for a little while? 

I love you God and I love every opportunity you have brought me; but, can I just be for a little while? 

What God Said Tonight:

Most of the pressure you feel to do the next thing is from you, not from me. I am happy that you want to grow and you want to serve. I love that about you; but, the pressure is not from me. 

When you think about it, all of the really great things that you have done, have been easy because you were relaxed and relying on me. I am going to help you see over the next week, the things that you have imposed on yourself and the things that I have brought to you. 

It is fine for you to have goals that you set and that you achieve. But those goals, the ones that originate from you are the  ones that take so much effort and energy. The ones from me. The goals the dreams and opportunities from me are the ones that come so easy, once you get started. 

Time for a little life inventory and find some balance again. We have time to do it. We will do it together. I love you daughter and I want only the very best for you.
