Love each other...

My prayer:

Thanks for today God. It was unpredictable but not bad. I pray for your continued divine health. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

No on is an island but people can connect with other people in different ways. There is no "right" relationship. 

I only ask that you love each other. That is all I have ever wanted. Love each other, just as I love you. Find a way to put aside the anger, the fear, the frustration, and the hurt, and love each other. 

Everything will be different when that happens. Absolutely everything. 

Patterns within patterns...

My prayer:

Today was pretty great God. A little bit of work, a little bit of fun. For a change, I think I actually found some balance today.

Thank you for your patience with me. Let's keep moving.

What God Said Tonight:

There are patterns within patterns and meanings within meanings. Nothing is a as simple as we would like to think. 

The reason you are not seeing lasting solutions to the problems in front of you is that you are only seeing the surface evidence of the problems. You cannot see the root. You can not see the multiple things that have led to the problem. 

That is where I come in. I see all and I know all. With that view, I can guide you through the mess and into the solution. trust my voice. Follow my lead. I will see you victorious in all things. 

People quilt...

My prayer:

Thank you God for amazing people in my life. I have so many really GOOD people in my life. People who care. People who want to do the right thing, just because it is right. People who love, no matter what. 

Thank you for surrounding me with such wonderful people.

What God Said Tonight:

Life is like a quilt and people doubly so. Each person has a spot and a purpose. 

Each square is beautiful in its own right but more beautiful in the pattern of the quilt. People are that way too. Each person, each child of God is beautiful in their own right. But, when they are in position, with the others that I place around them, the pattern, the larger picture is even more beautiful than each person alone. 

I am a relational God and you are my relational people. You work better together. You are more beautiful together. 

I love you.

A path through it...

My prayer:

I can't think of anything to talk about but always willing to listen. What is on your mind?

What God Said Tonight:

Rocks in the river. I am making a path for you through the river. Watch for the rocks. You will need to jump from rock to rock to make your way across butt the way will be clear. 

Follow my path and I will get you to the other side. I love you daughter.

Offended...

My prayer:

Ok, I know that offenses are a tool of the enemy to wipe us out so I am working REALLY hard not to be offended. Really hard. But sometimes, I am not sure how to let go. Other times, I wonder if I really should let go or if I should move on. Maybe the offense is just a sign that I am not in the right place?

Those are my thoughts but I would really like to know what you think. And if I am supposed to just let it go, I will need some help with that.

What God Said Tonight:

Are you offended or is your pride hurt? Are you offended or have you convinced yourself that you are right and any other opinion must be wrong? Before you worry about letting go of the offense, I need you to be honest with yourself. Take a minute to see what is really happening.

Maybe, that different viewpoint has truth in it. Maybe it is not about you at all.

I love you daughter and I love your passion. Don't give that up. But, before you act, before you respond to this situation, take a minute to ask yourself the hard questions.

I love you and your life is in my hands.

Pass it on...

My prayer:

Thank you God for the opportunity to be a blessing today. One of my most favorite things is when I can truly help someone. Not just a gesture but do something that really matters. Thanks for showing me a way to that today.

What God Said Tonight:

Broken hearts are not less capable of love and generosity. Something about the breaking gives the person a greater capacity for love and compassion. Not always right away but eventually and once there, it is enduring. No one knows better the power of a helping hand than the person who desperately needed that help in the past. 

The "Pass it on" movement, there was something that reflected the best of humans., You receive help, you receive love and then you pass that on to everyone around you. That is the original example of going viral. 

Get this love out to the world. Get my love out to the world. Let it spread like wildfire. I love you, pass it on.

Stumble, fall, recover...

My prayer:

I am very grateful God, you are lifting the darkness. Thank you from the bottom of my soul. I could breathe today and it felt amazing.

My prayer tonight is for my dear friend. You know the situation. She needs a way out. She needs favor. She needs you God like never before. I lift her up to you God. Have your way in her life.

What God Said Tonight:

Walking this road of life, you will stumble, you will make wrong decisions, you will act in ways that you will regret. 

What I can promise you is that I will never leave you. What I can promise you is that I will always turn it for your good. What I can promise you is that I will always bring you through. 

I have the answer for every mistake you make. My blood covers you, now and forever.  My grace is sufficient.
