God's candle...

My prayer:

Today was rough but you got me through it. And, what an amazing opportunity you dropped in my lap in the middle of it all! I can't wait to go to Africa! Life with you is an adventure God. THANK YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

I have wonderful things to show in in the corners of the world you have not been. But I have children there who need me. They need you too. 

Love my children as I have loved you. Take everything you have learned from how I love and reflect that love out. Let them see my Spirit in you. Let them see my love shine through you. 

You are my candle that will not be put out. You are my lamp in a dark world. Light the way to me.

Hard to bless...

My prayer:

Such a bitterly cold day today. As always on days like today, my thoughts are with all of the people without homes. Please take care of them God. Find them a warm spot for the night at least. Lead them to somewhere safe and warm. Bless them like crazy please God.

What God Said Tonight:

It's not hard to help a man with no roof. That man is grateful for whatever you can give him. It is so much harder to bless a rich man. It is why I said it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to be saved. 

It is in their very wealth that blocks them from eternal riches. I am not saying that it can't happen. All things are possible through Christ. But, it is hard. 

Who is better off, the homeless man whose heart and soul are open to me or the rich man that needs a reminder to talk to me. 

I will care for the poor. Those who do not have homes and those who are poor in spirit..

Truth...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. No questions, no requests, no needs tonight. I just want to be in your presence and hear your voice. There is nothing better in the universe than your presence and your voice. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

Crowds of people all around. The air is filled with praise. The energy is palpable. But, what I treasure is the small voice of the humble child who calls out my name. I don't need fanfare and I don't need a show. I need hearts that are true and souls that are committed. 

I need your truth, whatever it might be. It is in your truth that we can find our true connection to each other. It is the same with all relationships. The more of your truth that you share in a relationship, the closer and more intimate the relationship is. 

Your relationship with me is no different. The more you share with me the truth of who you are and where you are, the closer we become and the better I can help you. Our intimacy is reliant on your ability to let me see your truth. 

I love you now and I always will. 

Love...

My prayer:

We are built for love. We are built to be loved and to love others. You have told me this so many times but for some reason, I know it more tonight than ever. 

Thank you for loving me and for creating me for love. Help me to love better.

What God Said Tonight:

There are stars in the sky, there are waves ;in the sea, there are things of beauty all around you. There is joy and happiness. There is struggle and anger. There is so many things around you in life but the only thing that really matters, the only thing that counts, is love. 

It does not matter what you have or don't have, if you have love, you have enough. My  love will sustain you in every season. My love will change you into a spirit of bliss.

I am really enjoying this season God. Things in my day to day life  have just been really good for several weeks. Not perfect. Of course there are still challenges and struggles, that's life. But overall the good is outweighing the bad for a change and I am really grateful. I guess that is it really. Thank you for blessing me

What God Said Tonight:

A life of happiness and joy is as much about how you look at circumstances as it is about the circumstances themselves. 

Have you ever wondered why some of the happiest people you know are those without too many things. They often don't have a lot of money or things but they live life according to their principles and values and and that brings fulfillment and joy. 

I am your deeply rooted values and principle. Live life according to me and find yourself happy, at peace, and fulfilled. I love you.

Feeling blessed, highly favored, and privileged. What an amazing God you are! Thank you for all you have done and all you are doing! 

I ask for your continued guidance and direction. Let's ride this thing out!

What God Said Tonight:

I have you in the seaweed, the thick grass right now. You can't see beyond it but be comforted in that. Enjoy the peace of this place and let me take care of all that is outside of your bubble. 

Rest in the place of peace that I have provided.
