My prayer:

Awesome God. It is very late, just got home and I have work tomorrow morning. I thought about skipping this time together for tonight. I mean, you have been talking so clearly to me all day and it has been a day that has been blessed in your presence. But, it just didn't feel right going to bed without hearing from you specifically, without taking the time to shut up and listen to you. i am here and can't wait to hear your voice tonight...

What God Said Tonight:

I have more to tell you. I always have more. I never run out, of anything. 

I never run out of love. I never run out of patience. I never run out of healing. I never run out of forgiveness. I am the God of more than enough so I never run out. 

No matter how much you need, I have more. No matter how much you learn, I have more to teach. No matter how blessed you are, I have more blessings for you. 

I am your everything and I love you more than you will ever know. And, I always have more for you.

Release the past...

My prayer:

What a wonderful day and a wonderful night God. 

Thank you for rest today. Thank you for the amazing news of restoration today. Thank you for a fantastic service tonight. Thank you for hope. Thank you for never giving up on me. 

You in me, in my life is more important to me than anything else.You make everything else work. I LOVE YOU.

What God Said Tonight:

It is time to release the things that hold you back and reach forward to the the future and promises I have for you. Your past will only keep you bound. 

Sometimes, your past can be the tool, the stepping stone you need to to move forward. Right now, your past  is like a ball and chain on your ankle, holding you to where you are when I want you to move forward. Release it, let it go, and move into the promise I have for you. 

I love you too my sweet child and I will see you walking in victory again.

Restore...

My prayer:

Good friends and wonderful worship...tonight was good God! I am glad this week is done and I get to have a Sabbath with you. What do you want to do tomorrow? How should we spend our day together? I am all yours!

What God Said Tonight:

We will spend tomorrow beside the cool, slow waters. Tomorrow will be a day of rest and contemplation for you. I will restore your soul I will give you drink to refresh your spirit. I will strengthen you with my joy. 

Tomorrow is about healing from the battle and restoring you to wholeness. I will receive your worship and I will be glorified in it, but let me worry about that. Let me worry about spreading the good news message tomorrow. 

You are in my arms and I will see you restored.

Growth struggle...

My prayer:

I am fighting to focus on the positive God. It is harder than usual and I am not even sure why. You continue to bless me and pour out favor on my life and I remain so grateful. 

Maybe I need a change of scenery? Maybe that will give me a fresh perspective? Maybe I need to stop being so focused on me and take care of some other people. 

I am not sure of the answer, I am not even sure of the problem. But I am sure that things are not quite right and I need your help. Guide me, show me, help me God to live the life you have for me. I am all yours.

What God Said Tonight:

I am. 

You are living life and life is not always perfect joy. You have read so many times of how you will have trials and tribulations. You have seen in your own past that your times of the greatest growth come out of times of struggle. I know the struggle is not fun but it is necessary. 

I have great plans and for you to be ready, you have to grow more in me, fast. The fastest way to help you grow the character you need is through a struggle. Be grateful that this struggle is not one you have to meet on your own. Lean on me, lean on those close to you. 

You will see so very soon the necessity of this season. You will look back with your hindsight and understand. For now know that I will not see you in pain any longer than is necessary. Know that I will always rescue you. Know that my love for you is so enormous that it cannot be measured, ever.

Keep your balance...

My prayer:

Doubt and insecurity in myself. Confidence and peace in you. 

I am choosing, right now, to focus on my confidence and peace in you. God, I believe that you are Lord. I believe that you have my best interests in mind. I believe you will work everything out. I believe you have good plans for me. I believe you have a purpose for my life that is greater than what I have known so far. I believe and have confidence in you.

That is what I choose to focus on because the alternative leads to discouragement, depression and death. Focusing on you leads to life, joy and peace. Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

I have everything so perfectly planned out. I know you can't see it but I am glad you can trust me. I have thins timed so perfectly. I know you can't predict it but I am glad you trust me. 

What you can see is me working in your life. You can see how I have woven your life together. Look at those things as  a reminder, a memorial, to give you confidence for the future. 

Keep your eyes stayed on me. Not because I need the attention, although I love when we are so close. But keep your eyes on me because when you look at anything else, you will panic and fall. 

Life is precarious right now. We are on the edge of greatness, of great things, and if you do not keep your balance you will fall and miss it. 

The best way to keep your balance is to keep your eyes stayed on me. Let me be your center. Let me be your stabilizing focal point. I will see your through, I promise.

Abstract art life...

My prayer:

Thank you God for healing me! 

Today was a whole lot better and while there is still a lot to figure out, I am reminded today that all things are possible with you. I am reminded that you have a an answer to every problem. I am reminded that you have placed at this time and in this place for a reason and a purpose and you will not leave me here.

What God Said Tonight:

Your life is an abstract art painting right now. You see hints of what it means but you do not yet see the full picture. You see beautiful colors and you see outlines of what you think you understand but there is so much more to know. 

Step back a minute and stop worrying about analyzing it all. Instead, take a moment to just experience it. You might find that you like it. 

The chaos is not true chaos. It is art. It is a depiction of something that cannot be expressed in words or in pictures. Your life is growing beyond the ability to describe. You are on the edge of a life with true purpose. Trust me to lead you in it.

Don't get lost in the darkness...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I know my time would be best spent finding the few bright spots of today but I just don't have the energy. Today I hurt, physically, emotionally, just hurt. And now, I am tired. 

I know that tomorrow will be better. I know that my hope is in you and you have a good future for me. And, I promise, I will be able to focus on that, tomorrow. 

Tonight, I just need relief and rest and your voice...

What God Said Tonight:

I will comfort you but I will not baby you. 

You will get up tomorrow and face the day. You will have strength beyond your capability. You will have peace in the middle of the storm. You will have joy in the midst of mourning. You will have it all because you have me. 

Your healing is here. Your rest is here. Because I am here. Everything you need and everything you ever will need is in me and I will provide. Come to me and I will pour out a blessing you cannot contain. 

You know that it is always darkest before the dawn. Your dawn is on the way. Do not get lost in the darkness. Do not take up residence in the darkness. Allow yourself some needed rest but then, get up and stand strong with me by your side and in you. 

I love you daughter and I hate that you hurt. I will remove your pain as your find comfort in me. Rest your head here, with me and I will comfort you, for tonight. I will help you up tomorrow and I will stand with you in the face of every challenge.
