Speed of change...

My prayer:

Thank you for a day free of hassles. I think I truly forgot how great life can be when things simply go smoothly. It has been awhile since I have had a whole day where everything just worked and there were no major obstacles or issues to overcome. It was pretty wonderful.

Thank you for getting me through the rough days and thank you for giving me a few easy days like today. You are my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

Things are coming together. I have been working for so long to get everything and everyone into right position for this next season and it is finally ready. 

Get ready to see more smooth sailing. There is a speedy timeline for this season and things will happen quickly. Do not be afraid of the speed of the changes. They are all in my will and they only seem fast because the preparation was so long. Now that the preparation is done, we can move quickly with the execution an completion of the changes. 

I love you, now and forever. Follow my lead.

Distractions...

My prayer:

Today was a miracle, start to finish. Thank you Jesus! You always tell me that opposition and aggravation are nothing more than opportunities for your glory to shine. Today I really saw that. Thank you thank you thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

Life is messy but beautiful. Those side trips, those distractions, are not taking you out of my will. They are often just adding color to the journey. 

Notice the distractions. Sometimes there is great joy in them. Sometimes there is great learning in them. My life on earth was filled with distractions that were more meaningful than what was right in front of me. 

The woman with the issue of blood. I was not on my way to see her. She was a distraction. But what a mighty and powerful picture of my healing power. A story that has lasted through the centuries and given so many hope, started out as a distraction. 

Keep your eyes and ears open. I have things to teach you, everywhere.

Family blessing...

My prayer:

Thanks for getting me through another rough day God. 

My prayer tonight is for my friends and their trip to pick up their newly adopted son. The barriers have been so huge and they have fought so hard for the privilege of raising this little boy. I ask for your favor on them, on their trip. I pray that everything from here on go smoothly and you make a way for them. I come against the barriers in the name of Jesus Christ and I say they must fall. 

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

A blessing has been carefully prepared and is waiting for the joining of this family. I have held it, waiting for the perfect moment and that moment is now. 

I will bless those that you bless and I will curse those that you curse. You are my child and I am your God. Together forever my love.

A new dream...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I think I have a new dream! It has been so long since I have truly had a dream, a vision, of what comes next but I think I got it tonight. Now, as exciting as a new dream is, I have to know if this dream is your will for my life. I know from a lot of experience that pursuing anything outside of your will does not turn out well for me, so please, let me know what you think about this new dream.

What God Said Tonight:

A dream, a vision, is never a bad thing. I have given you the desires of your heart throughout your life. I will give this to you. 

I have no concerns about this dream. It is well within my will for your life. I have planted in you such gifts that they an be used wherever you are. I have opportunities all throughout this world for you to shine my light. 

I am with you and I will bless you, always. Keep dreaming.

Life is hard...

My prayer:

Just a question God, and, I don't really know that the answer matters either way, but if there never was original sin, would life still be so hard? Is the reason that everything seems so hard related to us messing things up? 

I know so many people who only want to do some good, to help and it seems like everything is working against them. I assume that one day, when the battle is over and we have won this war that things won't be as hard, but I am not sure that I have any biblical basis for that. 

When does the struggle end?

What God Said Tonight:

The struggle is real and the struggle is only for a time. 

I have seen you on your knees and I will lift you up. First to my arms and then to the heavens. You are my light on earth and your time to shine is near. 

Try not to focus so much on the struggle. Lean on me. Let me strengthen you. And, keep your focus on the glory to come. Not everyday will be all good and not every day will be all bad. Each day has an opportunity for you to be with me and live in my light.

Lift your head, see my light and let it reflect off of you. That is all I ask of you in this time. Reflect my light whenever you can. 

One day, you will have so much faith in me and so much reliance on me, no challenge, no barrier, thrown in your way will have a chance. You will walk over them and you will walk through them. 

Life doesn't get easier but you get stronger every day that you lean on me. I love you.

Finish the building...

My prayer:

Thank you for a good day God. Nothing incredible happened but it was a good day. Sometimes that is enough. Today, that was enough. 

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

Building blocks. I am building you up, one block at a time. One experience at a time. 

Trust me to finish what I have started. 

Something new...

My prayer:

My mind is racing and jumping all over tonight God. I am having trouble focusing enough to even put down some thoughts in prayer. It is probably a good sign that I need to listen more than talk. 

I ask for your peace and clarity in me.

What God Said Tonight:

I am building something new in you. Something exciting and something that has not been seen before. I want you to feel the strength and the innovation that I am building in you. 

It is time to be excited. I am doing a new thing!
