My prayer:

I am alive because of you. You created me, yes. But you also saved me.

Thank you for my life God. Thank you for giving me life and giving it back to me.

What God Said Tonight:

A life lived well is a life you never lose. A life lived well continues in the minds and hearts of all those who were touched by it. 

I love you and I love your life.

Change the plan...

My prayer:

Awesome God. You asked me to do one thing today and I only got it partially done. And the really crazy thing is I could have finished, I just forgot until it was too late! I am very sorry. I will try very hard to finish it tomorrow. 

You so seldom ask me to do something specific and this was something that was so easy for me to do, I really am sorry.

What God Said Tonight:

A plan is just that, a plan. If a plan does not work out, you change the plan. 

I love you. 

We will just change the plan. 

Wait on me and I will give you the new plan.

My prayer:

Today was a bit of a revelation. Thank you for your help. Getting back into work was rough but it was pretty wonderful to be welcomed back with such enthusiasm!

I pray that the fresh perspective you gave me in Africa stays with me. It would be so easy to fall back into comfortable patterns but that would be such a waste. 

You are really wonderful God!

Your perspective, how you experience life, really is within your control. If you don'[t want to stay, leave. If you want more, give more. 

So often people feel trapped by their circumstances but often, their cage is only in their mind. I came to set the captives free and you are all captives of something. 

Rejoice in the freedom that I bring to you. Savor the moment

My prayer:

It is back to work tomorrow and I will need your help with the transition back. It feels like I have been gone for months, not just weeks. 

Above all, above every request and every need, I pray that your will is done. I pray for your will in every aspect of my life and of this world. Your will is better than anything else. 

Thank you Jesus.

The long wait...

My prayer:

Thank you for listening to me all day. Now its my turn to listen to you...

What God Said Tonight:

The waiting is different for each person and each situation. 

There is the wait that goes by with no effort. You blink and the waiting is over. That exists but most people don't even notice it. 

The waiting that requires faith is the waiting that goes beyond your ability to understand it. The waiting that goes on so long that you lose the ability to imagine the outcome. That waiting is often the waiting before a big outpouring. The waiting before the miracle. The waiting that makes you want to run.

I know that waiting is difficult. I know that waiting requires more effort than if you tried to do the thing yourself. That waiting is the waiting that requires your complete trust in me. 

Do not cut that waiting short. Do not take over and force the waiting to end. 

There is blessing in the waiting if you look for it. There is purpose in the waiting that can outweigh the result of the waiting. 

When you wait in trust of me, you will find peace and strength in the waiting. It is the time to regroup and prepare for the next stage. 

I am in the waiting with you. You are not just waiting on me, you are waiting with me. I am with you now and forever. Let the waiting be our time to know each other better. 

I love you and I will never have you wait for no reason.

The time for light...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am sorry the jet lag got to me last night and we did not get our time together but thank you for hearing my prayers this morning. What I am asking is bigger than anyone can do which is why I knew I had to bring it to you. 

You are the healing God and you can heal a continent. I met such amazing people in Africa and they are facing such insurmountable odds. Only you can really help and give them the lives that they deserve as your children.

Amazing Father, I leave them in your hands with all of my love.

What God Said Tonight:

Darkness will not last on this world for very much longer. The reign of darkness is nearly over. It has to run its course but now is the time for light. 

Now is the time for my Son and my sons and daughters to shine with the love I have placed in you. 

That love will light the world. That love will light the universe. That love will abolish the darkness. 

I love you sweet daughter. The time is come.

Impact multiplied...

My prayer:

What an amazing two weeks God! I truly do not have words to describe it or words to thank you for it. The people, the places, the animals, the adventures...all of it was beyond description. That you would bless me with something so incredible, it does not surprise me because you are the God who blesses me. You have promised to open the windows of heaven on my life and to do more than I could hope or even think of. You fulfilled those promises in spades! Thank you Jesus, I cannot wait to see what comes next.

What God Said Tonight:

I have nourished you and I have challenged you. I have prepared you and I have fulfilled you. The next step, the next layer takes all that I have done in your life and use it for an even greater purpose. 

Your impact is about to be multiplied. 

You will not have to promote yourself, I will promote you. You will not have to strive for success, I will make you succeed. You will not have to worry over the details, I will take care of them. 

Stay in peace, knowing that I have it all under control and you are on your divine path of purpose.
