Joy in every season...

My prayer:

I am not much interested in what I have to say tonight but I am VERY interested in what you have to say. Let me hear your clear and sure voice with whatever you want to say tonight God.

What God Said Tonight:

Some things must be endured. Somethings are enjoyed. What you need to do is look for the things to enjoy while you are enduring. 

I know this is a season that you are not comfortable with. I know that you are just trying to get through it. But, even in this season, I have joy for you. I have fun for you. I have things for you to enjoy. 

Remember to look for them and to be open to them. It makes the enduring much easier. 

I am your joy in every season. Keep hold of me. Keep your eyes and your ears and your heart open to me. I will show great and beautiful things even while you wait. 

Hope like a child...

My prayer:

Thank you God for simple joy today. Thank you for the children you have put in my life to remind me what it means to hope without restraint and to know that anything is possible. 

I need to remember that more often. 

Life can leave me so beat up at times that I forget that truly, anything is possible and sometimes, all you have to do is ask.

Your child, resting in expectant hope tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

I know what you need and I know what you want and as your adoring Father, I will make sure you get everything you need and everything I can of what you want. 

Your wants are not always in agreement with what is best for you and I cannot give you something that is harmful to you. I will not give my child a rock when she asks for bread. I will give you the desires of your heart as I dwell in your heart and I am in those desires. 

Your renewed hope is beautiful. It is part of why I say you should approach me like a child. Approach me with hope that has no limit. I will bless you without limit.

Hard times...

My prayer:

Thank you God for a wonderful night with wonderful people. Thank  you for giving them a new start in a new home. Thank you for meeting us there tonight to bless their home. Thank you for working everything out...again! you are amazing and your care for us is awe inspiring. I love you God, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

I will always make a way for my children. I will not leave them and I will not turn my back on them. 

Every challenge and every hardship is nothing more than a new opportunity for me to show my love and my power by bringing you out. 

Do not be afraid of the hard times to come. Do not hope to avoid them. They will come but I will always bring you through them. I will always bless you in the middle of them. I will always celebrate with you the other side of them. 

I love you daughter, now and forever.

Blessed by God...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am getting ready for one of my favorite holidays tomorrow. A whole day to be thankful, that is something to celebrate! 

This year is a little different, no big outreach, which feels strange, like something is missing. I ask God, that you show me opportunities to be a blessing to other people tomorrow. 

Thank you for the provision and privilege and love that you have put in my life. You are wonderful and I am blessed to have been chosen by you.

What God Said Tonight:

I want to bless you this year. I will bring you blessings you cannot contain. 

You will bless others, you always share, which is part of why it is so easy to bless you. I know it won't stop with you. Blessing others, being blessed, being a blessing, they should all come together and be a part of your daily life. 

I will bless you to overflow. It is your joy to decide where the overflow will go.

Do not be afraid...

My prayer:

Dearest God of all creation on heaven and earth. I come to you tonight as this country I live in is in turmoil, or at least that is the way the news is making it look. Just yesterday I was complaining that we have become too apathetic as a society. Well, these folks who are rioting are not apathetic.

I just pray for your peace in this situation. I pray for your protection around your children God. I pray that you help us to find a path that leads away from violence and toward reconciliation. 

Not that I am against change or standing up for change. I actually think that is pretty great. I am just concerned that people are going to get hurt in the process. 

What God Said Tonight:

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but do not be afraid. You will hear of people in the streets, tearing the world apart, but do not be afraid. You will hear of plagues and you will hear of terrible things, but do not be afraid, I am with you. 

I tell you so often to not be afraid because I know how frightening this world is and will continue to be. I am telling you now that it will get worse before it gets better, but do not be afraid. I am with you. I am on your side. I am making all things turn for your good. 

In the midst of chaos and terror, I am still with you. I am still working it out for you. I love you. Do not be afraid.

Thank you God. 

What God Said Tonight:

I have not seen you without words very often. 

I am here tonight to refuel your dream. I have not forgotten the promises and call I placed on your life. You will see it all come to pass. 

You are in the position that I have placed you for this season. I know you don't see the way to there from here but it is not necessary for you to see it. It is only necessary that you trust me to know the way. 

I am the way, the truth and the life. I will not lose my way. I will not lose your way. I will guide you always. I am guiding you now. 

Stay alert to my voice. 

You matter...

My prayer:

Today was pretty great God. Thank you! 

I pray and ask for your help this week. Help me God to remember that no matter what it looks like, you have a plan and I can count on you. I know it, most of the time but help me in the times that I forget.

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight;

Every aspect of your life is important. Every decision, every action and every inaction. Everything effects everything else.

You matter. You matter to me and you matter to the world. You even matter to people you will never meet.

The truth of life is that you are all connected. We are all connected. The technology of today is making that truth more obvious but it  has always been true.

Do not discount your life and your purpose. Do not live as if you don't effect those around you. Do not forget that I am in you and in that, you are special and amazing and powerful beyond your comprehension.
