Direction...

My prayer:

Today was harder than I expected but here tonight with you, I am at peace. I am yours. I am waiting for your voice.

What God Said Tonight:

Finding direction on your own can be very complicated and sometimes impossible. 

Man has made so many tools to help you find your way, your purpose, your direction, and while they do not usually do harm, they are often so complicated to use, getting the right answer can be pretty difficult. 

It is one of the reasons that I was called "The Way" when I was on earth. I never meant for you to have to determine your purpose and direction in life. I had always planned that we would live life together and that I could be your navigator. 

Put your effort into hearing my direction and following me and I promise I will not let you down. Remember, throughout the day, not just here at night, ask me which way to go and I will guide you. I will lead you to your opportunities, your blessing, your purpose.

Trail blazing...

My prayer:

What a great day of rest today God. Thank you. Tomorrow is back to work and the uncertainty of it all. I ask for your help to remember that you have everything under control and that you are my provision, teacher, guide, and Lord. It is my intention to stay in your peace throughout the day, but I will probably need some help to do that.

What God Said Tonight:

Being the first to try something is not always the easiest position to be in. It takes courage and it takes trust. Many people will rather wait to see how it goes for someone else. 

I have not built you that way. I created you to be in front and to try the things others will not. You will never be satisfied doing what everyone else is doing. I created you to blaze trails. 

Remember that and embrace this season that you are in. Do not let fear or anything else keep you from moving ahead. I love you.

Terror...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. There are thousands of things that I love about you. One of them is that you understand me. You know what I am saying, even when I don't say it correctly. You know my heart. You know what I need before I even know that I need it. 

I really love that about you!

What God Said Tonight:

Your heart tonight is worried and it doesn't have to be. 

The terror around you will not harm you. This latest threat is not for you. You are protected in the shelter of my arms. 

Look at me, trust in me and let the terror pass over us like a fog blowing in from the sea.

Destiny season...

My prayer:

I am feeling a sense of anticipation and great hope tonight God. It feels like something great is coming. I am not sure what it is but I like this feeling!

Thank you for a great day, for strength and health. You are my everything.

What God Said Tonight:

The next step is so close and you are going to love it so much. It is a departure, a change, but one that will not be frightening at all. You will feel so immediately at home and at peace. You will have no doubt that it is from me. 

I am taking you into your destiny season. It is not wishful thinking and it is not your own hope speaking. I am here and it is time and I am taking you to great places. 

Stick with me, keep your eyes on me because we are going to move

A healing wave...

My prayer:

Too tired to think or talk but I would love to hear your sweet voice before going to bed. What is on your mind tonight God?

What God Said Tonight:

A healing wave is coming. The illness and damage that has been haunting my people is about to be wiped away. I will eradicate that which is keeping you from moving on. 

Be ready for healing. Be ready for wholeness. I am sending it your way. More is coming. Be ready to receive.

The demon of pride...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I am realizing tonight that I missed an opportunity to share your greatness today. And, even worse, I allowed someone to credit me with something that was really your doing. I am very sorry. 

Awesome God, all glory is yours. Everything good and right in me is only because of you in my life. I apologize that I did not make that clear today.

What God Said Tonight:

Your forgiveness is already yours. I have covered you, now and always with my sacrifice. I love you and I know you did not mean harm but I am glad that you have seen it. I am glad for you. Your future will be easier and better if you can remember this . 

It is not about doing right or wrong but it is about the demon of pride that can so quickly damage you. Pride is a weapon of the enemy and like so many weapons, it feels so good at first. That is what makes you allow it into your life. That initial rush. But, in the end, it will destroy you if you let it. Crushing it by bringing it out into the open is your best defense. 

I love you. I forgive you and I crush the pride that tried to get at you today.

The Father...

My prayer:

Today was interesting and eventful! Everything turned out ok because you always make things work for my good but it kept me on my toes for sure!

As I sit here tonight, I am having a hard time slowing down my thoughts. There are so many things running through my mind, I am having a hard time quieting that all down so I can listen to you. 

God, I ask for peace in my mind and my spirit so I can get my mind off of the world and onto you. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

There really is nothing to worry about. I am in charge and I will not let you down. Be at peace in the full knowledge and understanding that I am your Father and I will always take care of you. 

In a world that runs at a thousand miles per hour, you can't keep up. But, I can. Trust me to guide you. Trust that I will warn you of danger. Trust that I will get you through every challenge that lands in your path. 

I will not let you go and I will not let you down, ever. I am yours and you are mine and I will take care of you always. 

Find peace in that. Find rest in that. Find joy and freedom in that. Rest well my child.
