God's love...

My prayer:

Thank you for making everything go so smoothly today God! I was really kind of dreading it but you took care of everything. You take such amazing care of me. It is really almost unbelievable. Thank you for loving me and taking care of every need. I am SO BLESSED!

What God Said Tonight:

I have come for many things. To heal, to save, to redeem, but I came mostly to love. 

I am love, my whole purpose is to love. I will love you to the end of eternity. My love for you is not diminished by the circumstances. My love for you is all encompassing and everlasting.

My prayer:

What a great weekend God. I am not ready to head back to work and this week is PACKED with meetings.

I will need your help to not stress out and to respond with love and peace. I will need your peace residing in me to make it. I ask for your help. With you, this week can be amazing. On my own, this week will be a disaster.

Thank you for always sticking with me and thank you for your help.

What God Said Tonight:

I have plans for this week that go beyond your schedule. Do not get lost in thinking you know what the future brings. Your plans, your schedule are only a small part of the story yet to come.

I am here for you. I am here to guide you. I am here with you, always. Focus on me, let me guide you through, not your plans. Leave room to follow me.

Hardship...

My prayer:

Another wonderful and peaceful day God. Thank you for being so present.

I loved the time on the lake with you this morning. SO peaceful and beautiful. Your voice and your Spirit surrounding me.

There is no better place anywhere than in your presence. I love you with all that I know how to love, which is not enough, not what you deserve but all that I have.

What God Said Tonight:

Don't rest until you have run. Don't play until you have worked. And, don't die until you have lived.

No real joy is experienced until it is in the face of hardship. I know this to be true. The hardships in life are not meant to bring you down. They are meant to grow you up.

Everything in its season...

My prayer:

What a great day God. Thank you for every minute.

Thank you for making me a blessing and thank you for blessing me. Thank you for all of the work you helped me get done and thank you for the rest you gave me.

I guess the thing that was so great about today was it was balanced and you were in it.

What God Said Tonight:

There is a time and a season to everything. I know I have told you this many times before but it is when you truly understand that fact that you begin to live a balanced life and a life of peace.

The people who are always worried about what is going to happen next, never get to experience the joy in front of them.

Trust me to take care of tomorrow. Trust me to accomplish everything in its season and you will never need the crutch of worry again.

Your landscape...

My prayer:

Thank you for a day of great peace God. Not because of the circumstances, those the were normal, crazy mix of challenges. But in the middle of it all, there was your peace that I got to sit in all day. What a perfect place to be.

What God Said Tonight:

As the sun goes over the horizon and the light hits the landscape at different angels, everything changes. The appearance of the landscape is completely changed based on where the light is shining on it. This is most evident in the desert.

The same is true for your life. Everything changes its appearance as my light shines upon it. The true beauty of your life is brought out when I shine on you. This beauty is at its greatest when you are in your desert.

It is because the contrast is so great. When your circumstances are difficult, my light seems more bright and more beautiful.

Let my light transform your landscape.

A big decision...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I come asking for guidance and direction tonight.

The opportunity from today is interesting. I have been looking for a change. Is this it? Or is this just a distraction? Part of me thinks it could be great but part of me sees all of the downsides to it. A big part of not wanting to take the opportunity is knowing I would have to say good bye to people I truly love and admire. But then I think, that is not a good reason to stay and ignore the opportunity.

Anyway, as you can see, logic and reason isn't getting me anywhere. Help me God to make the right decision.

What God Said Tonight:

Our relationship is not one where I tell you what to do and you do it. That is the relationship of a master and a slave. You are not my slave, you are my daughter, my precious daughter. As such, all I want is your happiness.

I just want to be a part of your everyday life and decisions. I can show you pitfalls and I can show you potential, but the decision, especially decisions like these are all yours.

You can talk it through with me and bounce ideas off of me, I am happy to be a part of it all, but in the end, you choose. And when you do, I will find blessings in your decision. I will destine you to succeed, as I have always done.

Rest on it. Let your mind turn off for awhile. I bet it will look a whole lot clearer to you in the morning.

God's warrior army...

My prayer:

What a crazy attack that was tonight God! I could almost hear satan jeering at me, "What are you going to do now? Now that everything is going wrong, bet you start blaming God now!"

That was where he overplayed his hand though. I knew in that moment that I had to focus on you like never before, trust in you like never before and love you know matter what the outcome, knowing that you would work it for my good. And, right then, everything started turning around!

It seems like you are teaching me a lot through real life circumstances right now God. It is a powerful way to learn. I love you!

What God Said Tonight:

Your left and your right are an army ready for battle. They have waited many years to fight and the time is nearly here.
 
You are on the front lines but you are not alone. Your warrior brothers and sisters will fight by your side. The winner is already determined but the battle needs warriors.
