God never runs out...

My prayer:

Dearest God. I have never been more confused by what you are doing and I have never been more sure of your love and presence in me. 

That doesn't make sense to me. I would think the closer I get to you, the more I am aware of you in me, the more I would understand. But it seems like just the opposite. The more I know you, the more sure I am of you in my life, the less I know of everything else. 

It leaves me with two truths. I love you and I trust you. And, nothing else really matters.

Thank you for guiding me through when I have no idea where we are going.

What God Said Tonight:

What do you need to know? Do you need to know your destination, that is here with me in heaven. Do you need to know how you will get from there to here? I will guide each step. 

I have and will work everything out for your good. That is the truth that you need to know. I love you and I will work everything together for your good. Everything else will follow. 

It is here with me, now that connection, that love, this is what will carry you through. This is where you come when you get confused, afraid, sad. Here is where I will fill you back up, strengthen your spirit, breathe life back into you. Here, in my presence. 

Come here and I will always meet you. I will always fill you. I never run out, of anything. 

God's glory in battle...

My prayer:

Guide me, lead me, take me where you want to go God. I am yours, now and forever. Being in your presence is my most important goal. There is nothing greater than your presence. 

God, there is a battle raging around me and it is only your strength, your wisdom, your favor that can bring me through in one piece. I am completely aware that I do not have the knowledge or skill for this one. I need you. 

Thank you for always being in my corner and always being my help.

What God Said Tonight:

Be at peace. Rest in the midst of the battle. I am fighting for you even now and I will work everything for your good. 

This battle is only an opportunity for you to succeed. This battle is only an opportunity for my glory to be seen in you. I will give you knowledge that you don't have. I will give you favor you don't deserve. I will be with you every step of the way because I am your God and you are my child and I will see you victorious in my glory. 

Rest and know that it is true.

Higher perspective...

                                                              

What God Said Tonight:

Life is always complicated if you look at it too close up. You cannot make sense of a ball of string when you are so close that all you see is the chaos of the strings. It is not until you pull back and gain some prospective that you see what it is, a ball of string. 

From the higher perspective you can see that what seems like chaos is actually serving a function. 

The same is true of your life. Those hundreds or thousands of details and struggles that seem all hopelessly tangled up when you are in the middle of them, are actually part of a grander plan that you can only see when you see it from a higher perspective. 

Come, spend some time with me so I can show you the higher perspective.

Why pray...

My prayer:

Thank you God for the healing praise reports today! I love it when you heal people!! Thank you for the other answered prayers as well. Sometimes it is harder to heal our soul than it is a body but a healed soul can be just as profound. 

You are awesome God! Thank you for what you do in our lives, thank you for listening and thank you for letting me be a part of your amazing miracles on earth!

What God Said Tonight:

None of this would have been detected or known to have come from me if you had not prayed. 

I sometimes hear from you, my children, what is the point of prayer when I already know what you need. Well, I have many answers for that. The first and foremost is that prayer is our time to talk to each other. As your Father and as your friend, I love to talk to you. I love to hear from you. There is deep importance to our relationship that we talk through things. 

But also, for times like this. People know that the miraculous healing as from me because you and others prayed for that healing. People know that the relief of the worry came from me because nothing changed other than you all prayed, which let me come in and change the heart, heal the soul. 

How will people know it is me if first you don't pray? 

I love you. Thank you for your prayers. Keep them coming.

The truth...

My prayer:

Wonderful teacher. I am pretty excited about the fresh viewpoint you have been giving me while reading your word. I am seeing things I have never seen before and learning things about you that I did not know. 

Keep teaching me. Keep showing me the core truth. Keep showing me, you. I love getting to know you better and I love all the different ways you show yourself to me. 

What God Said Tonight:

Part of learning is unlearning. 

Sometimes, you have heard things so many times that you believe they are truth but they are just things that have been repeated many times by many people. 

The truth shines through. You have me in you and I will light up the truth for you to see. 

I want you to know me better. I want you to know the truth, in all things, that you are not deceived.

The truth is the light that eliminates darkness. The truth is your weapon. I love you.

God's presence...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I don't know if I have words tonight. Everything that is on my mind is old news. You have heard it all before. You know my heart, my dreams, and my needs. Instead of talking it all out again, I would rather listen. 

What God Said Tonight:

Come on in and sit down. We don't always have to talk. Sometimes it is enough to simply be together. Just to be in the room together. 

Let my presence be your comfort. I will take joy in your presence. Together forever my love.

India earthquake...

My prayer:

Dear God. I pray for comfort for the people who have lost loved ones and are suffering in India tonight. When a disaster of this size hits, there is so little I can do but you God, you can make a difference. I pray that your love and healing blanket them. You are the only true comfort at times like this. I pray they feel your love tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

I will shelter them under my wings. All who will have me, I will comfort, heal, make whole. I fly over the land of India with a heart for my people in their suffering. I will wrap them into my protection and comfort. 

I have seen and foretold of these terrifying times. There are more to come. But those who are with me, will be spared in eternity. 

I love you, my children. I am right here with you.
