Wonderful life...

My prayer:

What a fantastic day God! Thank you for every minute of it. Success at work, my favorite lunch, great trail run, new shoes, great time with a friend...just a whole lot of good stuff! I love you God and days like today, where everything seems to just be good, are very precious. Thank you for giving me such a precious gift, today. 

What God Said Tonight:

Today was a day that you were less worried about what people thought of you than you were about what you were into. 

It is a great thing to be able to simply experience life. No worry, no judgement, no condemnation, just experience the life that I gave you. I expect you to enjoy life. Life is a wonderful thing. Not everything in life is wonderful, but there is always a part of life that is wonderful. Find that wonderful part everyday and you will have much more joy in your life. 

I love you daughter. Go rest for our sabbath tomorrow. I am looking forward to another wonderful day with you.

Belonging to God...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I desperately want to stay focused on you. I don't want to get distracted. I don't want to get deceived. I want you and your truth in my life, period, end of story, nothing else to see here! 

God I pray that if there is anything in my life that is deceiving me, taking me away from you, leading me down a path that is not your plan for me, remove it in Jesus name! I pray and ask God for discernment and wisdom. Help me to see and know the truth. Help me to see and know what to do.

I am all yours God.

What God Said Tonight:

I have not seen you under deception but I will reveal it when it is there. I have not seen you walking down paths away from my purpose but I will make a way back for you if I do. 

I am your blessing, and your covering. I am your protector and your guide. 

I see many enemies around you forming weapons and making plans but I will not let them near you. You are mine. 

God never runs out...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I know you are working out a lot of stuff in me right now and while painful sometimes, I am really grateful for what you are doing. But tonight, I am kind of sick of me and my issues and my next steps. Tonight, I just want to talk about and think about you. I just want to be with you. I just want to worship you. 

God I don't need anything more than your presence tonight. Come hang out with me for awhile?

What God Said Tonight:

I love hanging out with you. I love these times where we don't have to do or say anything really, just be together and enjoy each other. 

I love you and I love who you are. I have waited so long to be here with you at this time and this place. I am excited about where we are going tomorrow but tonight I am blissfully content to be with you, doing nothing. 

Lay your head on my shoulder and rest. Let my love shower over you. Let my love restore you. Let my love revive you. I am your rest and I am your strong tower. I never run out of strength for you. I never run out of encouragement for you. I never run out of patience for you. I am the God of more than enough. I don't run out. 

I love you sweet girl. Lie in my arms tonight and trust me for every tomorrow.

My prayer:

Awesome God. It sure is easier to trust you when I am getting what I want than when I am not getting what I want. I know, I believe that you are in charge of my life and you continually show me that when you don't give me the things, the situations that I want in my life, that it is ALWAYS because you have a better plan. 

I am trying really hard to remember and keep that in the forefront of my brain right now. Truth is, I can even see, pretty clearly, why getting what I think I want right now would not be good for me in the long run. I wish that would make me stop wanting it. 

But, I can trust you in it. I can believe that you will keep me from dashing my foot against a stone. I can believe that you have my best interest in mind and as long as I follow your lead, I will see how you turn it all to my good. 

I will do my best to focus on that. Love you God!

What God Said Tonight:

I am not your puppet master but I will protect you. Always. I don't want to force you to live a life that you don't want to but I do want to show the amazing life that I have for you. 

I love you daughter and we are in this together. When you are hurt, I am hurt. When you celebrate, I celebrate. When you laugh, I laugh. I want joy, laughter and peace in your life. I will protect you from the things that will threaten that. I want purpose and power in your life. I will protect from anything that is a threat to that. I want you in me and me in your life. I will defend that relationship beyond death. 

I love you and your trust is well placed in me.

Success...

My prayer:

Success can be defined by so many different things. The money we make, awards we win, promotions we receive or the love of someone we respect. Sometimes success is just making it through the day. 

God, how do you view success? I know that you still love us when we fail but how do you define success? When can we know that we have made you proud?

What God Said Tonight:

I don't think much about success. Knowing that I will win it all in the right timing, I don't worry too much about the day to day success or failure. 

You are my success. You are my princess and priest. You (my kids) and your success keep me busy enough. 

Success itself is not a bad thing. But so often, success breeds the desire for more success until the point comes that you are chasing after success so much, you lose sight of me. 

Keep your focus on me and I will destine you to succeed. Keep your eyes on the success, you will probably see some good results for a period of time. However, there will come a day when strength fails you. Instead, keep focused on me and what I  am telling you to do and you will see great and sweeping miracles. 

Your success is my success and my success is yours.  I love you.

God's presence...

My prayer:

God, I crave your presence tonight. I crave you overwhelming, beyond beautiful, all powerful presence. Remind me God of your glory and your greatness. Let my heart be filled and my spirit surrounded by your presence and your power. Leave no doubt, no evil, no sickness and no confusion to stand in your presence. God, I love you. Overtake me tonight God.

What God Said Tonight:

Words, whether spoken or read are powerful. More powerful than most realize. I have given you power in your words. Think about the words you say and what they can create. Don't be careless with them. 

I am right here. I have never left. I am in you and I am with you forever. Mmmm, there you go, now you see me, hear me and feel me. I am with you. My presence is never more than a peaceful moment away. Rest in my presence and I will renew your strength. 

Life with God...

My prayer:

Speechless God. Today has left me speechless. Happy to listen though. Tell me something wonderful...Well everything you say is wonderful so that should be pretty easy. Love you!

What God Has Said Tonight:

I am yours and you are mine. I say that to you often but I want to remind you of it tonight. I have claimed you as my own. I have marked you as a child of the Living God. Your life is not some random series of events. Your life is a purposeful fulfillment of my will on earth through you. 

I have you carved in the palm of my hand. I adore you. I have set you apart for a purpose. You are special. 

That means your life may not look like the lives of people around you. That means that I expect things from you that you don't see me expecting from others. That may mean that you don't always get to do what you want. 

But that also means that your purpose will change the world. That also means that we will live together for eternity. That also means that you carry my favor with you wherever you go and whatever your do. That is the trade off. 

And fact is, you really can do whatever you want. But when you follow your will and not mine you end up in situations that I have to pull you out of. If you follow my will, you avoid the pit falls. 

I love you. You are mine and I am yours.
